ELLA MAE KINCAID
JASPER — Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, at the First United Methodist Church, Jasper, for Ella Mae Kincaid, 85, Jasper, who died at 1:23 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, at McCune-Brooks Hospital, Carthage.
Burial was in Paradise Cemetery, Jasper.
Arrangements were under the direction of Knell Mortuary, Carthage.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church Quilting Group, in care of the mortuary, 308 W. Chestnut, Carthage, Mo. 64836.
Survivors include a daughter, Connie Newman and husband Jerry, Jasper; a son, Mac Kincaid and wife Barbara, Jasper; a sister, Talma Kaderly, Jasper; three grandchildren, Jaret Kincaid, Jasper, Dana Tate and husband Scott, Carthage, and Jenny Ball and husband Tom, Jasper, and four great-grandchildren, Carly and Katie Ball, Jasper, Myranda Kincaid, Ozark, and McCauley Tate, Carthage.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul McClintock.
Mrs. Kincaid was born Oct. 27, 1918, in Jasper, to Basil and Carrie (Winans) McClintock.
She was a 1936 graduate of Jasper High School.
She was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church, Jasper, where she served on the Dorca Circle Quilting Group.
She was a lifetime Jasper resident, farming with her husband west of Jasper for 61 years.
She married Dean Kincaid on July 31, 1941, in Jasper.
He died April 20, 1993.

HAZEL MAE LOHMEYER
BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday), at Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville, for Hazel Mae Lohmeyer, 82, Bentonville, a longtime Lamar (Mo). resident, who died at 8:35 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, at her home, after a long illness of cancer.
Randall Caselman will officiate.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today (Wednesday), at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home, Bentonville.
Arrangements are under the direction of Walnut Lawn DeGraffenreid-Wood Funeral Home, Springfield, Mo.
Survivors include four children, Marsha Brown, Mesquite, Texas, Kerri Russell, Bentonville, Kimbi Tidball, Carthage, Mo., and Kevin Lohmeyer, Rowlett, Texas; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Lohmeyer was born May 26, 1923, at Yellville, to Vernon and Birdie Parrott Hudson.
She and her husband Gene Lohmeyer were longtime owners of Lohmeyer-Konantz Funeral Home in Lamar, since 1968.
After retirement in 1988, she made her home in Springfield until 2000.
She was married to Gene Lohmeyer.
He preceded her in death on July 22, 2003.

REBA M. COOK
LIBERAL — Services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Saturday), at Daniel Funeral Home, Lamar,, for Reba Marie Cook, 80, a long time resident of rural Liberal, who died at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004, at Barton County Memorial Hospital, following a long illness.
Rev. Robert Hodson will officiate. Burial will be in Nashville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, in care of the funeral home.
Survivors include four sons, Jim Cook and Larry Cook, Jasper, Ed Cook, Liberal, and Don Cook, Joplin; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Mary Suiter; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Earl James, and a sister, Irene Suiter.
Mrs. Cook was born Aug. 6, 1924, in Barton County, to Frank and Edith (Burnside) James.
She was a lifelong Barton County resident and member of the Baptist Church.
In addition to being a homemaker, she was a licensed practical nurse and had worked at Barton County Memorial Hospital for 38 years.
She married James W. "Walt" Cook on Sept. 1, 1941, in Nevada.
He died Feb. 19, 2002.

PAULINE A. PERRY
CAMDEN, Ark. — Services will be held at 10 p.m. Sunday, at Daniel Funeral Home, Lamar, Mo., for Pauline Amelia Perry, Camden, who died Oct. 4, 2004.
Burial will be in Lake Cemetery, Lamar, Mo.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., this evening (Saturday), at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Perry Kyser and husband Bill, Camden; a granddaughter, Kim Taylor and husband Ken, Dallas, Texas; two grandsons, Scott Kyser, Fayetteville, and Chris Kyser and wife Donyell, Camden, and four great-grandchildren, Brooks Perry Taylor, Mason Kyser Taylor, Julia Marie Kyser and Christina Atchison.
Mrs. Perry was born July 9, 1917, in Lamar, Mo., to Sophia and Ernest Woodlin.
She graduated with honors from Lamar High School.
She married Robert L. Perry in 1937.
He died in 2002.

HERBERT MOUNTAIN
Herbert Mountain, 81, of Lee’s Summit passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2000, at Warrensburg Memorial Medical Center.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Thursday, April 6, with burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, at the chapel.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Little Sisters of the Poor, or the Country Club Care Center, 503 Regent Drive, Warrensburg, MO 64093.
Herbert was born March 15, 1919, in Kansas City, Mo.
He retired from Research Medical Center in 1984.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jackie Mountain, in 1958.
He is survived by his wife, Doris L. Mountain, Lee’s Summit; and sister, Agnes Madole, Lee’s Summit; two sons and daughters-in-law, Albert and Naomi Mountain, Centerview, Mo., and Danny and Carla Mountain, Peculiar, Mo.; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Bonnie and Johnnie Lee Pickard, Leeton, Mo., Vickie and Wally Wilson, Warrensburg, and Linda Lee Roy, Prairie Village, Kan.; 15 grandchildren; 23 1/2 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

CALLIE THOMPSON TAYLOR
Callie Thompson Taylor, 80, of Lee’s Summit, died Tuesday, April 4, 2000, at Lee’s Summit Hospital, Lee’s Summit.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Friday, April 7, at Langsford Funeral Home, Lee’s Summit.
Friends called from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lee’s Summit United Methodist Church, or the Alzheimer’s Association of the Greater Kansas City Area Chapter.
Callie was born Sept. 2, 1919, in Jackson County, Mo.
She was a member of the Lee’s Summit United Methodist Church for 65 years.
She had worked for the Gas Service Co. in Lee’s Summit as a clerk for 37 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Maude Thompson; and a sister, Marguerite Campbell.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Taylor, of the home; a sister, Ruth Thompson Kreissler, Independence; an aunt, Darlene Lawton, Independence; nieces, Mary Kay Newman, California, Melinda Boeh, Independence, Sharon Northcutt, Clinton, Mo., and Lou Ann Taylor, Kansas City, Mo.; nephews, Tommy Campbell, Independence, Spencer Taylor, Lee’s Summit, and David Taylor, Topeka, Kan.; two great-nieces; four great-nephews; many friends and neighbors; and especially, Sharon Sullivan.

PEGGY EVINGER
Peggy Evinger, 68, of Overland Park, Kan., formerly of Osawatomie and Paola, Kan., passed away Thursday, April 6, 2000, at the Villa Saint Joseph Nursing Home, Overland Park.
Graveside services were 4 p.m. Monday, April 10, in the Osawatomie Cemetery, rural Paola.

Peggy was born May 11, 1931, in Osawatomie to her parents, Harold B. and Alice Morris Grimes.
She grew up and attended grade school and high school in Osawatomie.
She was united in marriage to William H. Evinger on Dec. 7, 1956, in Osawatomie.
She worked for Mode-O-Day Clothing Factory in Osawatomie from 1954 to 1960, before the family moved to Paola.
From 1960 to 1961, Peggy worked for Smiths Garment Factory before taking a position at Buy-Right Grocery Store, where she worked for several years before retiring in 1980.
Shortly after retiring, Peggy and her husband moved to Johnson County, where she remained until her death.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Harold and Alice Grimes, and her beloved husband, William H. Evinger, on July 18, 1993.
She is survived by a son, Steve Begshaw, Lee’s Summit; a grandson, Brian Begshaw, Raytown, Mo.; a granddaughter, Leslie Begshaw, Manhattan, Kan.; and a sister, Jo Ann Young, Tulsa, Okla.
