Clyde was a brother, but more than just a brother. He was a father that was more than just a father. He loved his family as much as they loved and respected him.
He was a friend who was always there when needed, no matter what the circumstances. Regardless of the job that needed to be done, he was always there without having to be asked. With his quiet manner he could lead through any job that needed to be done, but never had to say more than a dozen words.
He loved being outdoors, either fishing or hunting, and was always ready to take one more little circle looking for that last squirrel, or as his boys would say, sometimes the first one, even if it was five miles back to the car. They would walk it with him all the way.
Then one evening just at sunset he slipped away just as quietly as he had lived. Dear husband, Dad, Grandpa, and Brother, we wish you a happy journey.
