Timothy Gibbar
Timothy Charles Gibbar of Perryville, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004 in an automobile accident in rural Perry County. He was 28.
He was born May 1, 1975 in Perry County, the son of Raymond C. Gibbar of Perryville, and the late Connie Sue (Ruessler) Gibbar. He was married Nov. 29, 1997 in Perry County, to Gwen N. (Abernathy) Gibbar, who survives in Perryville.
Other survivors include one son, Seth Joseph Gibbar of the home, and two sisters, Nichole (Chad) Waldrop of Arnold, and Sarah Gibbar of Perryville.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Mr. Gibbar was employed at Rustic Wood in Perry County. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.
Memorials are preferred to family choice.
The funeral Mass was held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz, C.M., officiating. Burial was in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery at Silver Lake.
Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville, provided the arrangements.

Dennis Abel
Dennis T. Abel of Perryville, died Sunday, June 20, 2004 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was 49.

Melva Walther
Melva Erleen (Edmond) Walther of Arnold, died Monday, June 14, 2004 in St. Louis. She was 75.

Michael Berkbuegler
Michael Lynn Berkbuegler of St. Louis, died Saturday, June 19, 2004 in St. Louis. He was 35.

Marie Reiss
Marie Aline (Layton) Reiss of Perryville, died Thursday, June 17, 2004 at Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville. She was 94.

Blanche Markham
Blanche N. (Niswonger) Markham of Perryville, died Friday, July 16, 2004 at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville. She was 92.
She was born Oct. 28, 1911 in Millersville, the daughter of the late Dennis and Doshia (Statler) Niswonger. She was married Aug. 6, 1938 to Arthur J. Markham, who preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 1991.
Survivors include one daughter, Norma J. Griner of Perryville; two sisters, Esther Dailey of Murphysboro, Ill., and Glenda Green of Perryville; one brother, Floyd Niswonger of Sedgewickville; three grandchildren, Jerry, Neil, and Shane Bert; and four great-grandchildren, Ashley, Bryan, Lauren, and Brandon Bert.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one sister, Edna Lurk; three brothers, Rusby, Raymond and Howard Niswonger; and two grandsons, Robert and Brian Bert.
Mrs. Markham was a retired seamstress from Florsheim Shoe. She was a member of United Methodist Church.
Memorials are preferred to Home Cemetery.
The funeral service was held Monday, July 19, at 10 a.m. at Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville, with the Rev. Jerry Willer officiating. Burial was in Home Cemetery in Perryville.

David Huber
David P. Huber of Perryville, died Wednesday, July 14, 2004 in Norwalk, Woods of Poplar Bluff; and one grandson, Taylor C. Huber
Mr. Huber was a truck driver for Gilster Mary-Lee Corporation. He was a member of the Catholic Faith.
Memorials are preferred to family choice.
Visitation will be held today, Thursday, July 22, from 6:30-9:50 a.m. at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. The funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. today, Thursday, July 22, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz, C.M. officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.

Euline Zoellner
Euline M. (Chappuis) Zoellner of Perryville, died Monday, July 19, 2004 at Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville. She was 93.
She was born July 22, 1910 in Perry County, the daughter of the late Louis and Genevieve (Prevallet) Chappuis. She was married May 2, 1932 to LeRoy Zoellner, who preceded her in death on Oct. 15, 1973.
Survivors include three daughters, Joan Zoellner, Patricia (Ken) Paulus, and Margaret (Bill) Hayden, all of Perryville; one son, Glenn (Faye) Zoellner of St. Louis, daughter-in-law, Patricia Zoellner of Bloomsdale; 13 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, John Zoellner; one great-granddaughter, Lauren Hulsey; one sister; and three brothers.
Mrs. Zoellner had retired in 1980 as Office Manager at the Miraculous Medal. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Ladies of Charity, St. Vincent Alumni, and the K of C Ladies Auxilliary 1263.
Memorials are preferred to St. Vincent de Paul Education Foundation.
Visitation will be today, Thursday, July 22, at Young & Sons Chapel from 6:30 to 11:30 a.m. The funeral Mass will be held today, Thursday, July 22, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz, C.M. officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.

Edward Schumer
Edward "Eddie" F. Schumer of Perryville, died Sunday, July 18, 2004 at Perry Oaks Manor in Perryville. He was 93.
He was born Jan. 6, 1911 in Millheim, the son of the late Frank and Mary (Zoellner) Schumer. He was married Nov. 15, 1941 to Wilma M. (Lappe) Schumer, who survives in Perryville.
Other survivors include two daughters, Gloria (Gilbert 'Sonny') Gebhardt and Tammy (Denny) Brown, all of Perryville; three brothers, Norbert (Alma) Schumer and Leon (Marveline) Schumer, all of Perryville and Bob (Velma) Sauer of Moberly; four sisters, Leola (Nester) Lappe of St. Peter's, Dorothy (Donald) Barry, Rose (Herbert) Hotop, and Ann (Bob) Schnurbusch, all of Perryville; five grandchildren, Daniel Gebhardt, Dawn Leimbach, Dana Unterreiner, Dee Alsup, and Clint Brown; and five great-grandchildren, Brittney Leimbach, Tyler, Addie, and Grace Unterreiner, and Taylor Alsup.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Henry Schumer and Edgar Sauer; and five sisters, Isabel Renaud, Ida Biehle, Dena Behrle, Clara Grus and Bert Lappe.
Mr. Schumer was a Goodyear Stitcher (International Shoe for 46 years) and Owner/Operator of "ED's Shoe Repair Shop" for 36 years.
He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus - Wm. J. Barnwell Council 1263, and American Legion Post 133 Booster, all in Perryville.
Memorials are preferred to Birthright, SV Schools or Southeast Hospice.
Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, July 20, from 5-8 p.m. and again Wednesday, July 21, from 6:30-9:30 a.m. at Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville. The funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 21 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz, C.M. officiating. Burial will be in St. Maurus Catholic Cemetery in Biehle.

James Michael Miesner of Frohna, died Thursday, July 15, 2004 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was 93.

William Moll
William Vincent Moll of St. Mary, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004 at Jackie Lowes in St. Mary. He was 91.

Lorene Sauer
Lorene A. (Gebhardt) Sauer of Perryville, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004 at Perry Oaks Manor in Perryville. She was 82.
