Kyle Alaniz
PUXICO -- Kyle James Alaniz, infant son of Shannon and Michelle Alaniz, was stillborn Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002, at Three Rivers Healthcare-North Campus in Poplar Bluff.
Survivors include his parents and grandparents, Debbie and Ray Alaniz of Puxico and Charles and Trease Grillas of Fisk.
A graveside funeral service was held at 1 p.m. today at Puxico City Cemetery with Bobby Moore officiating. Morgan-Sifford Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Homer Wilson
Homer Wilson, 82, of Poplar Bluff, died suddenly Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003, at Three Rivers Healthcare-North Campus in Poplar Bluff.
Mr. Wilson, the son of the late Jasper Brown and Eliza Elizabeth (Armstrong) Wilson, was born Sept. 11, 1920, in Butler County and graduated from Rounsaville Business College. He retired from the U.S. Forestry Service in 1977. During his tenure, he participated in the construction of the Markham Springs Recreation Area. He was a member of the Township Line Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday School for many years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served during World War II in Germany, where he flew gliders. He enjoyed raising treeing walker dogs, coon hunting, and gardening.
On Oct. 26, 1945, he married Wilma Bernice Warbington. She preceded him in death Aug. 25, 1998. On Sept. 11, 1999, he married Ruby Beatrice Crook Wilson. She survives.
Other survivors include one son, Richard "Rick" Wilson and wife, Sue, of Poplar Bluff; three stepchildren, Larry Wilson and wife, Marsha, of Mariloma, Missouri and departed this life on September 16, 2000 at the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.
