Frank grew up with very little, but quickly realized the value of hard work, many times working more than one job to support his family.
Frank entered the United States Navy on Dec. 5, 1945 while attending high school. He served for two years, and was honorably discharged on July 31, 1947. Frank was awarded his high school diploma last year.

Frank was truly a family man. He loved the time spent with his family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren; however, he loved every child he met. He was always full of laughter and ready with a quick joke. His family will always remember the fact that he treated everyone equally and never looked down on anyone. Frank loved every one of his family members. He supported each of them, and expected very little in return.
Frank supported his family, his community, and his church equally. He loved life, and he loved helping others. This is what Frank lived for. He had a wonderful sense of humor, which he passed on to all of his children. This is how he coped with life. He had many friends, knew no strangers, and had no enemies. He will be sadly missed by all of those whose lives he touched. We can learn from Frank. He was a wonderful father, a wonderful husband, and a wonderful person. We all love him!
He is survived by his loving wife Charlotte of the home; three sons, Frank Jr., of Austin, Texas, David and wife Joanne of Longview, Texas, Ron and wife Beverly of Richland; four daughters, Marilyn Harrison and husband Steve, Linda Williams and husband Bill, all of Richland, Sharon Berry and husband Jerry of Lebanon, and Chris Malley and husband Pete of St. Robert; one brother, Duane Pemberton and wife Helen of Richland; one sister, LaVelle Gan and husband Marvin of Laquey; thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
