Pauline Elizabeth Terry
Pauline Elizabeth Terry, daughter of George Wolf and Lucy Park Wolf, was born in Richland on Jan. 17, 1920, and departed this life on May 28, 2003 in Jefferson City where she had resided for the past several years to be near her son.
Pauline was born and raised in the Richland area, and graduated from Richland High School.
As a young girl, Pauline professed her faith in Jesus Christ, was baptized and became a member of the First Baptist Church in Richland. She remained a very active member, serving as church treasurer and secretary.
For 50 years, Pauline was associated with Pulaski County Bank as cashier, retiring in 1991.
Pauline is survived by one son, Alan Terry and his wife, Joyce of Jefferson City; three grandchildren, Karen Terry, Kent and Chad Marsh; on great-grandson, Kesten Marsh; one brother, Howard Wolf of Dixon; one sister, Ruth Saltzman of Lebanon; other relatives and friends.
She enjoyed bowling, working in her flowers, visiting with friends, and especially being with her family.
Pauline is preceded in death by her parents.
Services for Pauline were held Friday, May 30, 2003 at the First Baptist Church. Pryor Ray Prewett officiated the service. "Amazing Grace" and "I'll Fly Away" were sung by the congregation.
Escorts were Tom Murray, Floyd Diehl, Howard Wolf, Jr., Bobby Saltzman, Chad Marsh and Gary Brown. Final resting place is Oaklawn Cemetery in Richland.

Opal Sophia Hutton
Opal Sophia Hutton, daughter of John Homer Newell and Josephine Godfrey Newell, was born Nov. 2, 1914, in Camden County and departed this life June 5, 2003 in Springfield at the age of 88.
On Sept. 17, 1933 she was united in marriage with Virgie Omar Hutton and to this union was born four children.
Opal accepted Christ at an early age and at the time of her death was a member of the Beulah Baptist Church.
Opal enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, canning, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her family and friends. She was employed at the Richland Care Center for many years.
She is survived by three sons, Dennis Hutton and his wife Sue, David Hutton and his wife Debbie, all of Richland, Elmer Dean Hutton and his wive Beth of Crocker; one daughter, Barbara Brown and her husband Earl of Richland; two brothers, J.R. Newell of Sleeper, and Robert Newell of Waynesville; two sisters, Pearlie Tanner of Richland and Rosie Missouri, he attended school and graduated from high school in 1970. He later attended University of Missouri. Susie was baptized at a young age and had a strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a life-long resident of Pulaski County.
On September 27, 1958, Susie was united in marriage with Wendell Wilson in Miami, Missouri at the age of 60 years, 10 months and 6 days.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband: Wendell of the home; one daughter: Tamera Palmer and her husband, Lonnie of Waynesville; one son: John Wilson and his wife, Sherry of Laquey, and her father: Lester "Brownie" Quesenberry of Laquey. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren: Becky Acosta and her husband, Ignacio, Keith Campbell, and Michael, Christopher and Shelby Wilson; one great grandson: Nathaniel Acosta; several other relatives and a host of friends.
She will join in heaven, her mother: Nova, her son: Jay, and many other loving family and friends that have passed before her.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 15 at Waynesville Memorial Chapel with Rev. Richard Breeden officiating. Soloist, Charlas Bales sang, "Sweet, Sweet Spirit." "The Dance" and a bagpipes version of "Amazing Grace" were also played. Serving as escorts were Jim and Dick Bales, Mike Wilson, Donnie Thomas, Johnny Burgess and Bobby Teel.
Burial followed in Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Waynesville Memorial Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospitals for Crippled Children. Donations may be left at the funeral home.

Lena Lee Watson
Lena Lee Watson, daughter of Walter Virgil Bittick and Ottie Maude Coble Bittick, was born in Prior, Mo., on February 17, 1918, and departed this life February 12, 2003 in Springfield at the age of eighty-four years.
She was united in marriage with John H. Richardson, Jr. Mr. Richardson preceded her in death in 1964. On June 12, 1965, she was united in marriage with Perry Arthur Watson. He preceded her in death on November 19, 1991.
Lena dedicated her life to service of the Lord in 1934, joining the Prior Episcopal Methodist Church. She transferred her membership to Hazelgreen Methodist Church in 1965.
She attended Cosmetology School in Tulsa, Okla., in 1943; she owned her own shop for fifty years. Lena and her first husband managed City View Cafe in Mountain Grove from 1958 through 1964.
Those surviving include one son, John Paul Richardson of Stoutland; two daughters, Myrna Lee Burdine of Harrison, Ark., and Nancy June Brooks of Richland; three grandchildren, Sarah Jane Richardson Harrell, Lena Mave Bridges, and Betsy Lee Reid; two great grandchildren, Brooke Anderson and Weylin Bridges; other relatives and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husbands and a brother in infancy.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2003 at Colonial Chapel, Richland, with Pastor John Peterson officiating. Escorts were Chris Bridges, Ralph A. Ogle, Jim Reid, Tim Reid, Jimmy Bench and David Harrell. Honorary Escorts were Steve Griffin, Elvis Ogle, Cecil Branson, Gary Griffin, Hugh McClure and Jesse Elam.
Burial was in Hazelgreen Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Thieme-Shadel-Hicks Funeral Service at Colonial Chapel, Richland.

william Frank Boren
William Frank Boren was born March 7, 1915 to James Hite Boren and Zilpha Ellen (McDowell) Boren in Hawkeye. He was the youngest of three children.
On Dec. 19, 1935, he was united in marriage to Marie Hancock and they shared 67 years of marriage. They were blessed with five children: James, Don, David, Dwight and Dian.
Frank accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior, when he was a young adult and joined the Hawkeye Baptist Church. He later moved his membership to the Honeysprings Baptist Church where he remained a member until his passing.
Frank enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was hunting or fishing. His real passion in life was raising cattle and the country life. He treasured the times that he could spend with his family, friends and neighbors.
He passed away the morning of Monday, Oct. 20, 2003 at the St. John's Breech Medical Center in Lebanon after a short illness at the age of 88 years.
Frank is survived by his wife: Marie Boren of the home; three sons: Don Boren and wife, Myra from out of state, David Boren and wife, Joyce of Crocker, and Dwight Boren and wife, Patsy of Iberia, one daughter: Dian Mitschele and husband, Terry of Crocker, five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; special neighbors: Jim and Beth Davis; several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; one sister; and his infant son, James Frank Boren.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at Richland Memorial Chapel with Rev. Charles Caldwell officiating. Marty Bird accompanied the Honeysprings Baptist Church Choir as they sang "When the Roll Is Called Up Yonder." Serving as escorts were Jim Boren, John Boren, Jim Davis, Joey Robinett, Quincy Robinett and Terry Robinett. Serving as honorary escorts were Lee Boren, Andy Davis, Francis Hancock, Dennis Shelton and Lewis Wall. Burial followed in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Richland. Services were under the direction of Richland Memorial Chapel.
