Teresa L. Hutson
Teresa Lynn Hutson, 42, died Feb. 21, 2005, in Piedmont, Mo.
She was born Aug. 9, 1962, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., daughter of Avaleen (Cade) Hutson, who survives and resides in Poplar Bluff, and the late Leamon James Hutson.
She was united in marriage to Hiram McFadden Jr. May 21, 1981, and he survives, residing in Piedmont.
Ms. Hutson grew up in the Broseley area and graduated from Twin Rivers High School in 1980. She was employed by the Wayne County Journal-Banner as circulation manager. She was of the Baptist faith.
Other survivors include one daughter, Amber McFadden, Piedmont; one brother, Eric (Amanda) Hutson, Benton; one sister, Myra Diane Hutson, Poplar Bluff; two stepdaughters, Candace Smith, Jonesboro, Ark., Michelle Honeycutt, West Plains.
The funeral was held Feb. 24 at Morrison-Worley Funeral Chapel, Piedmont, with Rev. James Littles officiating and music by Jeff Calif., son of Dorothea (Denton) Walker, who survives and resides in Torrance and the late Thomas Somerville.
He married Retha JoAnne Bone March 5, 1959, and she survives.
Mr. Somerville was a self-employed consultant. He was an avid reader and enjoyed the computer and fishing. He was a member of the Shirley Hills Baptist Church in Warner Robins.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two daughters, Tamara Somerville, Calif., Susan Keith, Modesto, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Sutton, three brothers, John, Louie and Charles Davis, four sisters, Marie Belli, Mary Ann Grave, Bessie Henson, Lola Mae Wells.
The funeral was held Feb. 26 at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville, with Rev. Louie Robinson and Rev. Dennis Bazzell officiating.
Pallbearers were Leon, Ricky and Jerry Clubb, Kyle Davis, Robby Sutton and Ryan Harper. Burial was in Thornton Cemetery, Greenville.

Floye Biddle
Floye Marguerite Biddle, 88, died Feb. 25, 2005, in Piedmont, Mo.
She was born Aug. 24, 1916, in Climax, Greenwood County, Kan., daughter of the late Dr. Herschel and Bertha (Tricker) Hendricks.
She was united in marriage to Walter Ingram Biddle Dec. 15, 1938, in Wadsworth, Kan., V.A. Chapel, and Judge Biddle preceded her in death in 1971.
Mrs. Biddle attended Allen County Community College in Iola, Kan., and graduated in 1937 from Research Hospital and Medical Center in Kansas City. She was a registered nurse in Texas; one son, Walter (Sue) Biddle, Piedmont; six grandchildren, Robert, Sherri, Becky, Jenny, Sarah and Jacob; seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held in Iola, Kan., at a later date.

Emma Lou Crites
Emma Lou Crites, 69, died Oct. 10, 2005, at her home in Greenville, Mo.
She was born July 2, 1936, near Greenville, Mo., daughter of the late Clyde and Audrey Deering.
She was united in marriage to Weldon E. Crites June 23, 1956, and he survives, residing in Greenville.
Mrs. Crites lived in St. Louis for many years where she worked for the C.V. Mosby Publishing Company. She returned to Greenville in 1969, where she and her husband ran the Mid-Way Drive In for 29 years until their retirement in 1998. She was a member of OES #337, Greenville, and served as chapter secretary for 15 years. She was a Past Matron in 1976, District Deputy Grand Matron in 1983, and was a member of the State Grand Office in 1986. She wad a member of First Baptist Church, St. Peters.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Larry (Marjorie) Crites, Festus; one brother, George Deering, Greenville; one sister, Carolyn (Sidney) Mann, Greenville; three grandchildren, Jason (Jessica) Crites, Laura and Cassie Crites.
The funeral was held Oct. 12 at Morrison-Worley Funeral Chapel, Greenville, with Bro. Dan Ross officiating. Glendell Twidwell and Jeanette Turnbough provided music.
Pallbearers were Denny, Danny and Darrell Deering, Kenny Mann, David Mann and Paul Richmann. Burial was in Greenville Cemetery.

Christopher T. Courtway
Christopher Thomas Courtway, 25, died Oct. 10, 2005, in Herculaneum, Mo.
He was born June 10, 1980, in St. Louis, Mo., son of Dale and Mary (Eldridge) Courtway.
Mr. Courtway worked as a laborer for a residential construction company. He was an avid motorcycle rider.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Courtway, High Ridge; father and stepmother, Dale and Angela Courtway, House Springs; one son, Austin Joseph Foster ; one daughter, Kurstin Angela Courtway, Ellington; one brother, Justin Courtway; one sister, Amanda Courtway, High Ridge; grandparents, Willie Eldridge, Piedmont, Ed and Marilyn Gamache, Arnold.
He was preceded in death by one grandfather, David Wesley Eldridge, July 2, 2005.
The funeral was held Oct. 15 at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont, with Rev. John Smith officiating.
Pallbearers were Ed Siery, Pete Miscella, Donnie Lane, J.R. Weingenhoffer, Cory Carver and Justin Hienes.

Robert W. Laxton
Robert W. Laxton, 45, formerly of Piedmont, died Oct. 13, 2005, at Georgia Smith, Cutler, Ill.; one grandchild, Jillian Wells; four stepdaughters; eight step-grandchildren.
The funeral was held Oct. 16 at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont, with Cody Mosbey officiating and providing music.
Pallbearers were Donnie O'Neal, Alex Goodson, John Laxton, Charles Laxton, Willard Laxton Jr., and Nick and Wendell Laxton. Burial was in Mill Spring Cemetery, Mill Spring.

Ira E. Bennett
Ira Edward Bennett, 82, died Oct. 9, 2005, at Greenville Health Care in Greenville, Mo.
He was born Nov. 12, 1922, in Greenville, son of the late Ernest and Bertha (Clubb) Bennett.
He was united in marriage to Nora Davis Nov. 21, 1959, and she survives, residing in Silva.
Mr. Bennett served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He had been a commercial construction worker in St. Louis. He was a Christian and attended New Hope Church in Silva.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Gene (Virginia) Bennett, Imperial, Jimmy (Linda) Bennett, Jerry (Marsha) Bennett, Barnhart; five brothers, Willis Bennett, Illinois, Bernice Jessepp, Missouri Veteran Guard and Navy. Pallbearers were Rick Clubb, Jerry Clubb, Clifton Pennington, Timothy Bennett, Mark, Greg and Robert Wirtel. Honorary pallbearer was Jim Davis. Burial was in Kirkpatrick Cemetery, Greenville.

William A. Barks
William Arza Barks, 79, died Oct. 10, 2005, in St. Louis, Mo.
He was born July 25, 1936, in McGee, Mo., son of the late Walter and Ethel (Howell) Barks.
He was united in marriage to Katie Clubb May 23, 1953, and she survives, residing in Greenville.
Mr. Barks had lived in Granite City, Ill., for many years. He retired from Nooter Corporation in St. Louis, where he was a welder, after 31 years of service. He returned to Greenville in 1997. He served as post commander of the American Legion Post #113, Granite City, and commander of the 22nd District, commander of the Eight and Forty, the post commander of the VFW Post #741, Granite City, and served for 36 years as a member and officer in the American Legion, VFW and AMVETS. He was also a member of the Wayne County Eagles.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Rodger (Zella) Barks, Granite City, Ill., Bryan Barks, Granite City, Ill.; three grandchildren, Caleb, Tobey and Jason; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews, including Jimmy, Diane, Jerry, Joan and Lorn Howell.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Clyde Barks.
The funeral was held Oct. 14 at Morrison-Worley Funeral Chapel, Greenville, with Rev. Earl Elfrink officiating. Music was provided by Rev. Elfrink, Leslie and Verna Skaggs.
Pallbearers were Chris Jaco, Eric Jaco, Raymond Storie, Harley Storie, Caleb Ollis, Jerod Howell and William Sidwell. Burial was in Crossroads Cemetery. Military Honors were provided by the Missouri Veterans Honor Guard.
