Ansley Dalton Ives
Ansley Dalton Ives, son of Seldon and Lena Ives, was born on February 12, 1931, in Cherryville, Mo. and entered eternal rest on April 29, 2006 at Depaul Hospital, Bridgeton, California and Robert Reis of Florissant, Missouri. Three sisters, Hallie Bouse of Stover, Missouri and Jean Belt of Cuba, Missouri, Tony Reis and Pam of Wentzville Missouri, Bill Godbey of California.
Great grandchildren, Ashleigh and Autumn Surgeon; one sister-in-law, Lucille Davis of St. Louis, Missouri when that plant closed and worked at Combustion Engineering Company for 25 years. He then worked at Harvard Industries until he retired.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Wilma Ottmer; three brothers, Ed Ives and wife Belle, Delmar Ives and Harles Ives; one nephew, Donnie Ives; brothers-in-law, Lute Bouse, Herschel Kaysinger, Henry Davis, Marvin, Leo and Melvin Pilgrim.
Mass was celebrated May 3, 2006 at St. Ferdinand Church, Florissant, Missouri.

Ralph Kenneth Hendrix
Ralph Kenneth Hendrix of Steelville, Missouri on Tuesday, May 20, 1930 to Elmer Levi Hendrix and Emma Jane (Ray) Hendrix. He passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at the age of 76 years, 4 months and 24 days.
Kenneth served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. He worked at Brown Shoe Factory in Steelville, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Aline Pinson and husband Jewell, Hildred Becker and husband Ed, Margaret Callahan and husband Fred; brothers, Ray Hendrix and Raymond Hendrix and wife Lorene.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his children, John Hendrix and wife Brenda of Cuba, Missouri, Mark Hendrix and wife Kevin of Rolla, Missouri; brother, William Hendrix and wife Neta May of Plymouth, Missouri.

Elsie Mildred Hill
Elsie Mildred Hill of Sullivan, Missouri to James Franklin and Lena Gertrude (nee Tullock) Vance, one of eight children. She married Clyde Hill on December 2, 1944 in Steelville, Missouri, Keith Hill and wife Gerri of Missouri, Pat Crowder and husband Don, Sheila Martin and husband Kevin, all of Bourbon.
One brother, Lester Vance and wife Lottie of Steelville, Missouri and Esher Clonts of St. Louis, Missouri passed away Sunday, October 1, 2006. He was born Thursday, February 27, 1947, the son of William Clifford Marlar and Minnie Mullinax Marlar Missouri, Melvin Marlar of St. Louis, Missouri and James Marlar of Leadington, Missouri and Dollie Missouri; many nieces, nephews and family friends.
Memorial services for Sam Marlar were held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 in the First Baptist Church in Steelville, Missouri.
The family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, Missouri was born September 28, 1947 at Skiatook, Louisiana Bay and the Smokey Mountain Bar-B-Que restaurants in Tulsa, Mississippi.
He was a loving son, father, grandfather, companion, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Harry John and Amanda Rebecca Murray and one brother, Joe Murray.
Those who are left to mourn his passing is his loving daughter, Keli and husband Jim Mulkey of Cuba, Missouri; two grandchildren, Makenzie Lynn and Brining James Mulkey of Cuba, Oklahoma.
The Murray family was served by the Britton Funeral Home, Cuba, Missouri on October 20, 2006. He was 62 years of age.
Marvin was born on June 30, 1944 in St. Louis, Nevada on January 25, 1995.
He was a retired school teacher and taught in the Cuba and St. James School Districts for 30 years.
Marvin is survived by his wife of the home, Donna Ripplemeyre of St. James, Missouri and one daughter, Michelle Harvey and husband Mike of Waterloo, Mississippi, Bret Campbell and wife Lisa of Lovelock, Nevada; two grandchildren; and seven step-grandchildren a host of extended family and friends. Marvin will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Helen (Rahu) Rippelmeyer.
Visitation was from 4 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 until time of service at 7:30 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri.

John Albert Smith
John Albert Smith of Cuba, Missouri was born on Sunday, February 15, 1948 in Calhoun, Missouri and to this union 10 children were born. John worked in sales most of his adult life. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and most of all spending time with his family whom he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his mother and sister-in-law, Maryanne Cole.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife, Ruthann Smith of Vandalia, Missouri, Kelly Smith, Tony Smith, Timothy (Angie Stulce) Smith of Sullivan, Missouri, A.J. Smith of Steelville, Missouri, John (Crystal Haney) Smith of Cuba, Missouri; and Breanna Smith of Bourbon, Georgia; brothers, Mark Smith, Gary Smith, Rick Smith, Carla Smith, Shelly Smith, Brenda (Kenny) Rogers of Nashville, Missouri, Terry Cole and sister-in-law, Marie Cole; mother-in-law, Karen (Bud) Chanceller of Marble Hill, Missouri with Rev. Jack Shepherd officiating.
All arrangement under the direction of Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, Missouri to Isaac and Victorine Royer and passed away October 16, 2006 at Depaul Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, on June 1, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri such as Ralston Purina, St. Louis Music, Bettendorf-Rapp (Schnucks) and Community Federal (Bank of America). She also worked as a nurse’s aid at St. Louis City Hospital for several years during and after WWII.
She was very active with the Cuba Alumni, her church, schools and children’s groups and choirs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Victorine Royer; her husband, Ralph A. Branson; five brothers, Lloyd, Julian, Williard, Maniam and Charles; and one sister, Laurene Kratschmer.
Margaret is survived by children, Margaret Patricia Bonzo, Ralph A. Branson Jr. and Gregory Charles Branson; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Services were held at Stephan Memorial Methodist Church with arrangements provided by Ortmann-Stipanovich. Interment at Laurel Hills Memorial Gardens in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 100 years and 18 days.
Barbara met her future husband, Walter Clendenin, when they both were working at Pevely Dairy in St. Louis, Illinois.
When the economic depression following World War II sank into the Great Depression of the 1930s, Barbara and Walter bought the old Job Harman home place and hired her father to build them a house. The family moved into their country home in the fall of 1929. They lived there for 12 years, where Barbara kept the home fires burning while Walter worked in St. Louis and could come home on weekends.
Barbara had a love for her family and gardening. She always made sure there was plenty to eat and always maintained a rock garden, flowers and goldfish ponds to have a bright surrounding.
When work picked up during WWII, the family moved back to St. Louis in 1942. Barbara went to work at the Small Arms Plant making tracer bullets. When the war was over she went back to homemaking.
Walter retired in 1964 and they moved back to the Steelville area where Walter died March 17, 1986 after nearly 63 years of marriage.
Barbara continued to live alone all these years within one mile of where she was born. She enjoyed seeing her family, especially on her 100th birthday, just a few days ago and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Alice Moon and husband Joseph; five brothers, Lee, Earnest, Harvey, Bill and Jessie; three sisters, Adelia Parker, Beulah Scott and Madge Center.
Those left to mourn her passing are two sons, Thomas Clendenin and wife Betsy of Bland, Missouri; one daughter, Grace Foehrweiser and husband Gerald of Steelville, Missouri.
