Ruby H. Moore, 92, of Canton died Dec. 3, 2002, at Madison County Medical Center.
Services were held Dec. 6 at Breeland Funeral Chapel in Canton with burial in Canton Cemetery.
Survivors include: her son, Hubert Moore of Sandhill; daughter, Dean Harris of Canton; grandchildren, Barbara Johnston, Judy Williams, Gary Jolly, John Moore, Carole McElroy, Steve Moore, Kevin Moore, Randy Moore, Charles Moore, Greg Moore, Jeff Moore, Lori Hackney and Wanda Nickerson.
She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Services were held Dec. 7 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Canton with burial in the St. James Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Canton. People's Undertaking Co., Inc. of Canton handled arrangements.
Survivors include: parents, the Rev. Clyde and Sandra Tate of Canton, and Percy and pastor Lelar Brooks of Ridgeland; six sisters and three brothers; grandparents, Sam and Ruth Johnson and Linnie Hodges, all of Canton, Rosie Hill and Mary Louise Williams of Jackson and Clyde Kimbrough of Milwaukee, Wisc.; and great-grandmother, Georgia Johnson of Canton.

Survivors include: her daughters, Jerrolyn Foster Inman of Lafayette, La., and Carolyn Foster Dickerson and husband Joe Dickerson of Kingwood, Texas; sister, Willie Mae Millsaps of Canton; grandchildren, Will and Sallie Ann Inman, Laura and John Trautner, Clay and Janene Dickerson; and great-grandchildren, Stewart and Laura Catherine Inman, Bethany and Harrison Dickerson.

Meredith Owen Culipher of Canton, 88, died Nov. 3, 2002, at Yazoo City Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Services were held Nov. 4 at Canton Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Sulphur Springs Cemetery.
Survivors include: his daughters, Jeanette Waldrop and Elizabeth Pickens, both of Canton; brothers, Earl Culipher of Canton and Elmer Culipher of Tuscaloosa, Ala; sisters, Maggie Beal of Canton and Hazel Ballard of Carthage. He is also survived by six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Dennis Merton "Hank" Hankins of Madison, 84, died Oct. 26, 2002, at St. Dominic/Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Services were held Oct. 29 at Breeland Funeral Home Chapel in Canton with burial in the Natchez Trace Cemetery.
Survivors include: his wife, Dorothy Bond Hankins of Madison; daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra H. Hammett and Jim Hammett of Dallas; Andria West of Polkville; Carol Weeks of Clinton; and Gayle Sumrall and Roy Sumrall of Clinton; five grandsons and four great-grandsons.
Memorials may be made to the Building Fund at First Baptist Church of Madison.

Eleanor Bivings of Ridgeland, 90, died Oct. 27, 2002, at home.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Oct. 29 at Nowell-Flippin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Jessamine Cemetery in Ridgeland.
Survivors include: her son, Jackie Bivings of Ridgeland; daughters, Barbara Clark of Jackson and Carolyn Stevens of Edinburg. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Miriam Law Smith

Miriam Law Smith, 89, died Oct. 27, 2002, at her home in Canton.
Memorial services were held Nov. 1 at Canton Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Paul Smith of Baton Rouge; parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Law of Baton Rouge; brothers, Robert William and John William; and sisters, Ellen Houtz, Doris Lois Law and Evelyn Law.
Survivors include: her sister-in-law, Ellen Jane Law of Ontario, Calif., five nieces and one nephew.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Oct. 24 at Breeland Funeral Home in Canton with burial in the Jessamine Cemetery in Ridgeland.
Survivors include: her nephews, Dave Clements, Billy Clements, Johnny Clements and Gene Clements, all of Brandon, and Bill Clements of West Virginia.
