Funeral services were held Feb. 26 at St. Columb's Episcopal Church in Ridgeland with burial in Parkway Memorial Cemetery in Ridgeland.
Survivors include: sisters, Maxine Stegall and husband Billy of Flora, and Lynda McKellar and husband Paul of Brandon; brothers, Robert "Bob" Laird and wife Annette of Tallulah, La., and William "Billy" Laird and wife Florinell of Lago Vista, Texas; and nieces and nephews.

Charles Stevenson "Steve" Yeager, 82, of Ridgeland, died Jan. 29, 2004, at the G.V. "Sonny" Montgomery Veterans Affairs Medical Center Nursing Home in Jackson.
Funeral services were held Feb. 2 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Ridgeland with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson.
Survivors include: his wife of 56 years, Mary Elizabeth Yeager of Ridgeland; son, John Yeager and wife Cindy of Ridgeland; grandson, Charles Stevenson Yeager III and wife April of Ridgeland; granddaughter, Courtney Belle Yeager of Ridgeland; and brother, John A. Yeager of Wendell, N.C.
