Funeral services for Mr. Worn "Pap" May, 53, were held at noon Saturday, January 17, 2004 at Rockport United Methodist Church. The Rev. Ronald Jefferson officiated. Burial followed in Rockport United Methodist Church Cemetery.
A native of Winston County, Mr. May was a truck driver and a musician. He was a member of Rockport United Methodist Church. Mr. May died Monday, January 5, 2004 in Choctaw County.
Survivors include his wife, Hortense "Deani" May; one sister, Annie Pearl Harris of Cleveland, California and Ledell Dubose of Philadelphia, and three grandchildren.
Hampton Funeral Home of Louisville was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Earlene Baker
Saturday, January 17, 2004
Funeral services for Mrs. Earlene Baker, 55, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2004 at Mt. Bell Missionary Baptist Church in Louisville. The Rev. Roosevelt Gage officiated. Burial followed in Oliver Cemetery in Winston County.
A native of Louisville, Mrs. Baker was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Louisville. Mrs. Baker died Saturday, January 17, 2004 at Holy Cross Hospital in Chicago, Ill.
Survivors include two sons, Roderick Baker of Louisville and Cedrick Baker of Raymond; one stepdaughter, Anitra Baker of Inglewood, Preston DeOnn Gardner
Tuesday, January 20, 2004
Funeral services for Mr. Gardner was a truck driver. He was a member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Gardner of Louisville; two sons, Donterrian Wraggs of Charlotte, N.C. and DeOnn Norton of Louisville; one sister, Karen Fleming of Ft. Leavenworth, Kan., and two brothers, Patrick Gardner of Kennesaw, Ga.
Beck Funeral Home of Louisville was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Myrtle Persons
Wednesday, January 21, 2004
Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Persons, 95, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2004 at Cockrell Funeral Home in Macon. Brother John Kittrell and Brother Salone Green e officiated. Burial followed in Pinetucky Cemetery in Shuqualak.
A native of Winston County and resident of Shuqualak, Mrs. Persons was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Pleasant Assembly of God. She had been a resident of Noxubee County for the past 65 years and a resident of Noxubee County Nursing Home since 1997. Mrs. Persons died Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at Noxubee General Hospital in Macon.
Survivors include one son, Bennie Persons of Shuqualak; three sisters, Lucile Peden and Marlon Newell, both of Dekalb, and Mary Floore of Meridian; two half-sisters, Eva Robertson and Lorene White, both of Louisville; one brother, James K. Gregory of Louisville, and one half-brother, Coy Stevenson of Louisville.
Memorial may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
Cockrell Funeral Home, Inc. of Macon was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Pearl Jones Bouchillon
Saturday, January 24, 2004
Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl Jones Bouchillon, 70, were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2004 at Porter Funeral Home in Louisville. The Rev. William Bouchillon and the Rev. Walter Simmons officiated. Burial followed in Murphy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Winston County.
A native of Choctaw County, Mrs. Bouchillon was a homemaker and a member of Murphy Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Bouchillon died Saturday, January 24, 2004 at her home in Louisville.
Survivors include her husband, Ed Bouchillon of Louisville; three daughters, Sandy Sharp of Breaux Bridge, La., Diane Corley of Franklin, Tenn., and Vicky Snow of Louisville; one stepdaughter, Ann Griffith; one stepson, Craig Bouchillon; 11 granchildren; 14 great grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren and three step great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Murphy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or to the American Kidney Association.
Porter Funeral Home of Louisville was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Winnie Stokes
Saturday, January 24, 2004
Funeral services for Mrs. Winnie Stokes, 89, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 26, 2004 at Middleton United Methodist Church in Winston County. The Rev. Buddy Carroll, the Rev. Scott Broughton and the Rev. Charles Maples officiated. Burial followed in Middleton United Methodist Church Cemetery.
A resident of Louisville, Mrs. Stokes was a homemaker and a member of Middleton United Methodist Church. Mrs. Stokes died Saturday, January 24, 2004 at her home in Louisville.
Survivors include one daughter, Sandra Holdiness of Louisville; two sisters, Mary Alice Roebuck and Evelyn Ryrra of Louisville; one brother, Grady Gully of Rogers, Ark.; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Rodney Stokes, Ronald Stokes, Donnie Frazier, Kenny Ray, Kim Ray, Johnny Stokes, William Lemmons and Jim Donners.
Nowell-Tilghman Funeral Home of Louisville was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Mary Wilkes Young
Saturday, January 24, 2004
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Wilkes Young, 91, were held at noon Tuesday, January 27, 2004 at Campground United Methodist Church in Winston County. The Rev. Bill Mills officiated. Burial followed in Campground United Methodist Church Cemetery.
A native of Winston County, Mrs. Young was a homemaker and a member of Campground United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Methodist Women's Mission Society. Mrs. Young died Saturday, January 24, 2004 at Central Mississippi Medical Center. A funeral service was held Monday, May 24, 2004 at Madison United Methodist Church.
Wiley was born in Dekalb, Mississippi in 1985, earning a Bachelor of Accountancy, A CPA, Wiley was employed by MMI Hotel Group where he served as the comptroller and previously worked for Lefold and Company. A resident of Madison, Wiley was a member of the Madison United Methodist Church. He enjoyed playing golf at the Colonial Country Club and attending Ole Miss Football games. He is preceded in death by his wife, Suzane McLamb McCoy.
Survivors include: His son, Wiley R. McCoy, IV of Madison; sisters, Jan McCoy of Brandon and Jill Wood of Mayfield, Kentucky. Wiley is also survived by many other loving family members.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Southeast Affiliate, 1380 Suite A Livingston Lane, Jackson, MS 39213 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
