WIGGINS - Ms. Audrey Diane Ward, 18, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, in Stone County.
Ms. Ward was employed as a cashier and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jason E. Ladner; a daughter, Jacia Danielle Ladner, both of Wiggins; her father, Joseph Allen Ward Sr. of Lucedale; her mother, Rita Ward of Wiggins; two brothers, Billy Ward of Wiggins and Michael Ward of Perkinston; and a sister, Rosie Davis of Lucedale.
A service will be at 3 p.m. today at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Wiggins. Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins is in charge of arrangements.

GEORGETOWN, S.C. - Mrs. Ruth E. Warren, 84, died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, in Georgetown.
Mrs. Warren was a former resident of Gulfport and was a graduate of Howard High School in Georgetown. She was employed as a kindergarten teacher and a practical nurse. She was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Handsboro where she was a member of the Senior Mission, the Helping Hand Committee, the Handsboro Homemakers Club, the Ever Ready Club, the Mississippi Returnee Club, the Eastern Star and the Elks Society Club. She was a former member of Bethesda Baptist Church in Georgetown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Leroy Warren; and her parents, Titus B. and Azalee Kelly Parker.
Survivors include a son, Titus Troy Warren of Richmond, Calif.; her caretakers, Ojetta Parker Smith and Joann Baker; and three grandchildren.
A service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Missionary Baptist Church of Handsboro where friends may call one hour before service time. Burial will be in Monroe Memorial Park in Gulfport. . Hall Funeral Home in Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
Raymond Louis Weiss Sr.
OCEAN SPRINGS - Mr. Raymond Louis Weiss Sr., 74, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, in Ocean Springs.

Woodrow H. Wilson
Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Robinson Road Baptist Church.
GULFPORT - Woodrow H. Wilson, age 83 and a resident of Gulfport, died Wednesday, November 10, 1999, in Gulfport.
Mr. Wilson was a native of Henderson, KY, and had been a Gulf Coast resident for 53 years. He graduated from high school in Henderson, KY, and worked as a surveyor for TVA. Mr. Wilson served as chief petty officer in the Navy CBs in the Philippine Islands during World War II and retired as a longshoreman. He was a deacon at the Robinson Road Baptist Church, and was a Mason.
Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Woodrow Wilson; a sister, Sylvia Wilson; and two brothers, Leroy Wilson and Joseph Wilson.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Williams Wilson; sons, Roy M. Wilson, and John Wilson, all of Gulfport; daughters, Joan Fitch of Gulfport, and Nancy Lee of Brandon, MS; sisters, Elnora Stevens and Grace Russell, both of Henderson, KY; and grandchildren, Natalie Wilson, Nathan Wilson, Anne Elizabeth Wilson, Emily Wilson, Gabriel Wilson, Amy Wilson, Karen Wilson, and Katie Elaine Lee.
Mr. Wilson poured out his life in his service to his family and his God. With loving hands he built both a house and home for his family. Furthermore, he was instrumental in the building and restoration of three churches. As evidenced by his generous life, he had a passion for planting, nurturing, and harvesting. All of us who knew him will continue to reap the benefits of a life lived according to Biblical principle: "It is more blessed to give than to receive".
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at the Riemann Memorial Funeral Home, U.S. 49 North in Gulfport. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at the Robinson Road Baptist Church, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Blackwell Cemetery in Harrison County.

James D. Adams

BILOXI - James "Jim" D. Adams, 82, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998, in Biloxi.
Mr. Adams was born in Neshoba County and had been a resident of Biloxi for 41 years. He retired after 30 years of serves as a Sr. Master Sergeant with the Air Force, having served in World War II and Korea. He was a member of VFW Post 6731 of Biloxi.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda G. Adams of Biloxi; a brother, Percy W. Adams of Ravenna, Texas; and a sister, Eris Blake of Chunky, Miss.
A service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Riemann Funeral Home Chapel, Beauvoir Road in Biloxi, where friends may call an hour before service time. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery, with military honors.
Jonnie Mae Britton

PERKINSTON - Mrs. Jonnie Mae Britton, 72, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1998, in Perkinston.
Mrs. Britton was a member of Crane Creek Baptist Church in Perkinston and was a retired nurse.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Olen and Burbie Anderson; three brothers, Buster, Bill and Winfred Anderson; a sister, Ruby Ladner; and a son, Joe Volpi.
Survivors include her husband, James "Jim" M. Britton of Perkinston; two daughters, Judy Volpi of Baton Rouge and Anita Britton of Houston, Texas; a son, Mike Britton of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Charlotte Elkins of Baton Rouge, Barbara Ladner of Poplarville and Ginger Harriel of Perkinston; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

George Wesley Broome

CITRONELLE, Ala. - George Wesley Broome, 73, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998, in Citronelle.
Mr. Broome was born Nov. 26, 1924, in Jefferson County and was a former resident of Moss Point. He retired from Security Southern Guard Service and had worked at Chevron for 25 years. He was a Naval veteran of World War II and was a member of Eastlawn United Methodist Church in Pascagoula.
Survivors include his wife, Flora O. Broome of Citronelle; a daughter, Rose Hickman of Pascagoula; a sister, Gloria Bell Yelverton of Decatur, Miss.; two brothers, A.L. Broome and Shelley Broome, both of Sumrall; a grandson; and a great-grandson.

Mrs. Dillon was a native of McNeil and had been a longtime resident of Biloxi. She was a retired cook and nanny for many years and was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Biloxi.

Mrs. Frierson was a native of Pearl River County. She was a homemaker and was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rollie Hobson Frierson; and two sons, Hulen and Bobby Frierson.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara and Betty Smith; two sons, Hurlen and Charles Frierson, all of Picayune; a brother, Ed Wheat of Huntsville, Ala.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

PICAYUNE - Mrs. Ora Lee Parker Garrison, 88, of Leetown Community, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998, in Picayne.
Mrs. Garrison was a native of Stone County. She was a waitress in the food industry and was a homemaker. She was a member of Lee's Chapel No. Two Baptist Church in Leetown Community.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Grace Hester; a grandson, David Hester; and a brother, John R. Parker.
Survivors include a daughter, Alice Reeb of Mesquite, Texas; two sons, Rev. Paul Lee of Picayune and Walter Lee of Abilene, Texas; a sister, Bernice Williams of Wiggins; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Green had been a lifelong resident of Ocean Springs. He was employed with Hiller Systems. He was a member of the Elk's Lodge of Ocean Springs and Belle Fountain Baptist Church.

SAUCIER - Kenneth G. "Pop" Jarrell Sr., 62, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1998, in Saucier.
Mr. Jarrell was born in Gulfport and had been a resident of Gulfport for 42 years before moving to Saucier. He worked for Harrison County District Two for 13 years and was a member of Pass Road Baptist Church in Gulfport.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Reyer Jarrell of Saucier; three sons, Kenneth G. Jarrell Jr., William Robert Jarrell and Douglas G. Jarrell, all of Gulfport; four daughters, Evelyn Shaw, Catherine Jarrell and Sonja Sandig, all of Saucier, and Esther Wade of Gulfport; two brothers, Claude Jarrell of Gulfport and Floyd Jarrell of Florida; 29 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Gwen Butler Morris

SARASOTA, Fla. - Mrs. Gwen Butler Morris, 52, of Sarasota, Florida died Monday, November 23, 1998, in Sarasota.
Mrs. Morris was a native of Biloxi and had lived in Sarasota for two years. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Charles F. "Chuck" Morris of Sarasota; two daughters, Laurie J. Morris of Sarasota and Carolyn Morris Shiley of Midway, Ga.; a son, Jason A. Morris of Sarasota; two grandsons, Justin Shiley of Midway and Jorden Morris of Sarasota; her parents, Oscar and Uelda Butler of Biloxi; three sisters, Mary Butler Womble of Lilburn, Ga., Julie Butler Mapes of Gulfport and Jenne Butler Migues of Vancleave; a brother, David Butler of Ocean Springs; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be Friday, November 27, 1998, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Biloxi. We will celebrate her life with a Memorial Service on Saturday, November 28, 1998, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Biloxi.
