GASTONIA — William Henry "Bill" Ford, 75, 705 N. Weldon St., died Dec. 21, 1999, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of Gaston County, son of the late Lawrence R. and Sophia Wright Ford, brother of the late Charles Ray Ford, Army veteran of World War II, served in the European theater and received a Bronze Service Star, employed in sales for over 20 years with Leigh Sandwich Shop, later retired from Gurney Industries, lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church, member of Absher-Flowers VFW Post No. 9337, Gaston County Pigeon Racing Assoc.
