She was a native of Cabarrus County, wife of the late Callie Couick, daughter of the late Henry and Maggie Harris Fink, sister of the late Homer Fink, Myrtle Harrison and Ruby Brooks, member of New Life Baptist Church, Bessemer City, former member of Love Memorial Baptist Church for 19 years, former employee of Firestone Mill.

Dixon B. Hanna
RALEIGH — Dixon Bradley Hanna, 90, formerly of Gastonia, died Dec. 28, 1999, at Mayview Convalescent Center, Raleigh. He was the husband of the late Edna Whitesides Hanna, son of the late David Bradley and Minnie Lewis Hanna, retired from the USDA Soil Conservation Service in 1972, lifelong member of the First ARP Church of Gastonia, where he was active until his move to Raleigh in 1991, elder emeritus, served as church choir director for 34 years.
