She was a native of Sharon, S.C., daughter of the late Ethel Kirklin Estes and Jimmy Kirklin, wife of the late Lorender W. Moore, mother of the late Lawrence Henry, Lee Jay, William Jr. and Michael Moore, member of Long Branch First Baptist Church, Sunday School teacher, senior choir, usher and missionary boards, treasurer of the District 2 Missionaries of the Women’s Auxilliary to the Ebeneezer Baptist Association, Heralds of Jericho, The Eastern Star.
