He was a native of Chesapeake, Va., son of the late William Guy Fish Sr., vertical launch missle technician for the Navy at the Naval Sea Support Center Atlantic, 10-year Navy veteran having served in Vietnam.

KINGS MOUNTAIN — Richard G. "Bud" Ross, 71, 201 Fairview St., died May 19, 2000, at Kings Mountain Hospital.
He was a native of Cleveland County, son of the late William Anderson and Mary Elizabeth McClure Ross, brother of the late Tommy, Elmer, Yates and Bill Ross, Lillian Mincey, Oveda Mitchem, Lurie Queen, Emma Campbell and Ferrie Lybrand, retired from Burlington Ind., attended First Wesleyan Church, Kings Mountain.
