Boyce S. Baucom
KANNAPOLIS - Boyce S. Baucom, died August 23, 2000, at Five Oaks Nursing Center. He was a native of Olive Branch, son of the late Blanche Davis and Alfred Lee Baucom. He was a Navy veteran of WWII, retired from Pilot Life Insurance Company after more then 30 years, he also worked more then 10 years for Cannon Mills. He was a Deacon of First Baptist Church Concord, active with local mission projects and the homeless shelter in Concord.

She was a native of Dekolb, Ala., daughter of the late George Lee and Ellie Jenkins Scott, wife of the late James Robert Painter, retired clerk from Charlies Drug Store, member of Second Baptist Church.
