She was a native of Rowan County, daughter of the late John Gaston and Annie Stirewalt Lisk, wife of the late Lawson Rhyne Henderson, retired from Burlington Industries, Cramerton, member of Cramerton Memorial United Methodist Church where she was former president of the UMW, taught children and adult Sunday school classes, helped with Bible school, member of Cramerton Study Club.
