He was a native of Anson County, son of the late Alan Alonzo and Martha Elizabeth Watson Tarlton, husband of the late Lucille Ellis Tarlton, was employed as a computer service technican at Southern Pump and Tank, member of Davidson Memorial Baptist Church, former Deacon.
SURVIVORS: Daughters and sons-in-law, Dorris and Richard Williamson, Fort Mill, S.C., Barbara and Bill Crocker, Shelby, Joan and Flay Gettys, Charlotte; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild

He was a native of Gaston County, son of the late Grady and Sarah Currence Love, member of Trinity AME Zion Church, Gastonia.

She was a native of Sylva, daughter of the late William D. and Catherine Isabelle Mason Estes, wife of the late Zeb F. George and Will Parker. She was retired from the Trenton plant with over 25 years of service, after retirement employed with Gaston Memorial Hospital in the linen area for over 16 years, previously attended Parkdale Baptist Church, Gastonia.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Catherine Edens, Gastonia; son, Edward L. George, Dallas; sister, Ola Greene, Valdese; grandchildren, Tracy Bryson, Gastonia, Brenda Page, Dallas, Kimberly and Tommy George, Georgia; seven great-grandchildren.
