GASTONIA — Clyde Odell Smith Sr., 80, 711 Appleblossom Circle, died Aug. 30, 1999, at Gaston Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Cleveland County, husband of the late Emma Wooten Smith, son of the late Harlan Arvell and Nellie Franklin Smith, retired truck driver from the City of Gastonia, Army Veteran.
