He was a native of Gaston County, son of the late David and Lois Pryor Duckworth Fletcher, brother of the late Marion and Mack Fletcher, Army veteran, buyer for JW Aluminum Company, electrician for Duke Power, banker in Mount Holly, member of Lions Club, Mason, member of Catawba Baptist Church.

She was a native of Polk County, wife of the late Ralph M. Day, daughter of the late William Furman and Bonnie Searcy Corn, member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Rutherfordton, retired as seamstress from Stinnette’s Uniform Service, Asheville, lifelong resident of western North Carolina.
SURVIVORS: Sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Nancy Day, Edward and Margaret Day, Bessemer City; sisters, Cleo Hoffman, Rutherfordton, Vivea Yon, Mill Spring; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren

Jordan, brother of the late Ralph, Russell, and Roy Jordan, Maude Jenkins and Gladys Nygard, member First United Methodist Church, graduate Gastonia High School, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, played college and semi-pro football for Charlotte Clippers, Marine Corps veteran of WW11, self-employed contractor, owner of Ray Jordan Construction, avid golfer.

She was a native of Indiana, homemaker, member of Unity Baptist Church, Belmont, served as director of The Children’s Ministry, involved in drama ministry.

He was a native of Lincoln County, son of the late Mark and Ophelia Webber Lander, brother of the late Griffin Lander, educated in the Lincoln County Schools, Army veteran, lifelong member, deacon, Pine Street Presbyterian Church, employed at Cronland Warp Roll as finishing supervisor, member of Lomax Masonic Lodge No. 29, transported citizens to polls on election days.
