Mrs. Anna Ruth Hall Moore Wright, 66, of 2941 Broadbay Drive, died Nov. 4, 2000, ati the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at J.C. Green and Sons Chapel in Winston-Salem. Visitation will be from 7-9 tonight at the funeral home tonight.

Mrs. Mildred Ann Rumley Fogleman, 86, died Nov. 4, 2000.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home from 7-9 tonight.

Ervin Griffin
High Point
Ervin Luther Griffin, 80, a resident of Willard Road, died Nov. 5, 2000, in the Piedmont Christian Home following one year of declining health.
He was born in High Point on May 1, 1920, a son to Joseph Luther and Mary Sechrest Griffin. He was previously associated with Heritage Furniture and later became owner and operator of Griffin Tools. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of Woodmen of the World. He was a member of First Church of Christ on E. Lexington Avenue where he was a former Elder, song leader, Sunday school teacher and superintendent of the Sunday school. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Eugene Griffin, on Jan. 22, 1999. On Dec. 10, 1948, he was married to the former Christine Cecil, who survives of the home.
Also surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Susan Griffin Fisher and her husband, Cole, of Elizabethtown, N.C.; one son and daughter-in-law, Sidney 'Sid' Griffin and his wife, Wendy, of Sophia; five sisters, Mrs. Louise Thompson of Denton, Mrs. Carl (Madge) Cook and Mrs. Gene (Betty) Yow, both of High Point, Mrs. Nancy Harris of Lexington and Mrs. Billie Robinson of Morganton; two brothers, James F. 'Sonny' Griffin and his wife, Mary Alice, of Greensboro, Joseph 'Jay' Griffin and his wife, Annette, of Stafford, Va.; three grandsons and one great-grandson.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Church of Christ, 301 E. Lexington Ave., by the Rev. Allen Brown. Interment will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The body will remain at Sechrest Funeral Service on E. Lexington Avenue until being placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Irene Ingram

Mrs. Irene L. Ingram of 1314 Furlough Ave. died Nov. 5, 2000, at her residence.

Manning Malloy
Cheraw, S.C.
William Manning Malloy, 78, died Nov. 4, 2000, at the Chesterfield General Hospital in Cheraw, S.C.
He was born in Cheraw on Aug. 27, 1922, to the late Edwin Malloy and Margaret Adger Manning Malloy. He was a graduate of Woodberry Forest School, in Woodberry Forest, Va., attended Cornell University, and graduated from Princeton University with a degree in engineering. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He dedicated his life's work to Cheraw Yarn Mills for 55 years, serving as Chairman and CEO up until his death. He was a faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church in Cheraw, where he served as a Deacon and Elder for many years and taught Sunday school classes for most of his adult life. One of his great loves was singing in the church choir, which he first joined at age 12. He was a community leader in Cheraw, where he served a term as president of the Cheraw Chamber of Commerce, president of the Kiwanis Club, president of the Cheraw Country Club and served for many years on the board of First Federal Savings and Loan. He served as president of the Pee Dee Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America and was a recipient of Silver Beaver Award. He served as a member of the American Textile Manufacturer's Institute, the American Arbitration Association, and served as a present of the American Yarn Spinners Association. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Kennedy Malloy, and his former wife, Marion Plowden Malloy Bennett.
He is survived by his brother, Edwin Malloy Jr. of Cheraw; his son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Susan Malloy, of Cheraw; three daughters, Marion Murphy of Cheraw, Margaret Sanders and her husband, Richard, of Naples, Fla., Mary Blackburn and her husband, Russell, of Mena Ark.; two step-daughters, Robin Schlachter and Heather Greenisen of Atlanta; a stepson, Brett Ralston, of Fayetteville, Ark.; nine grandchildren and one great grandson. He always stressed the importance of family life and was a loving, supportive and witty father and grandfather.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Cheraw by the Rev. Stuart Nickles. Burial will follow at the Old St. David's Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Norton Funeral Home. Norton Funeral Home of Cheraw is serving the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund, 300 Market St., Cheraw, S.C. 29520.

Nettie Parks

Mrs. Nettie Belle Lucas Parks, 84, died Nov. 4, 2000.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel. The family will be at Ridge Funeral home from 7-9 tonight and at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Albright, 246 W. Liberty St., Asheboro, at other times.

Dorothy Wagner

Mrs. Dorothy Louise Johnson Wagner, 69, a resident of 2164 Soapstone Mountain Road, died Nov. 4, 2000, at her residence.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Staley with the Rev. Wayne Dunn officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30 tonight at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Staley and other times at the home.

William Walls
High Point
William Charles Walls, 66, formerly of 304-A West Parkway, died Nov. 5, 2000, at Westwood Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born March 12, 1934, in Guilford County to John Virgil and Alice L. Smith Walls. He had been employed by Henry James Barbecue. He was a Baptist, a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and was a member of American Legion Post 87.
He is survived by a daughter, Angie Welch, and her husband, Lindsay, of Thomasville; a sister, Mary Hughes, of High Point; and a brother, Kenneth 'Bunk' Walls of High Point.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale by the Rev. Bobby Loving. Interment will be in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Hollis Watts
Lexington
Mrs. Geneva Hollis Denton Watts, 91, of Brookstone Retirement Center and formerly a resident of Highway 8 in Lexington, died Nov. 4, 2000, at Lexington Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6-8 tonight at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home of the son, Dennis Watts, 311 Meadow Drive, Lexington.

Hazel Beck

Mrs. Hazel Marie Slack Beck, 50, of 3381 Roy Farlow Road died Nov. 4, 2000, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 22, 1950, in Guilford County, a daughter of John Ray and Carlene Edwards Slack. She was a former employee of Carolina Face Veneer Co. and attended Cloverdale Church of the Living God. She was married to William Eugene Beck, who died Nov. 4, 2000.
Surviving are her mother of the residence; two sons, Jerry Dwayne Hollingsworth and Curtis Lee Hollingsworth, both of High Point; two brothers, Jerry Steven Slack of the residence and James Ray Slack of Asheboro; six grandchildren, Curtis Hollingsworth, Tommy Hollingsworth, James Hollings-worth, Michael Hollingsworth, Heather Hollingsworth and Jennifer Fitzgerald.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service by the Rev. David Perry and the Rev. Tommy Short. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-8:30 tonight at the funeral home and other times at the residence.

William Beck

William Eugene Beck, 47, of 3381 Roy Farlow Road died Nov. 4, 2000, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 6, 1952, in Guilford County, a son of Clayton Collins and Jewel Beck. He was a former employee of Carolina Face Veneer Co. and attended Cloverdale Church of the Living God. He was married to the former Hazel Marie Slack, who died Nov. 4, 2000.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Jewel and Harvey Vaughn of Thomasville; father and stepmother, Clayton and Stella Collins of High Point; a daughter, Carol Cutts of High Point; two sons, Allen and Michael Beck, both of High Point; foster children, Stephanie Ramey and Tim Hulin, both of Thomasville; a sister, Judy Faye Jarrett of Lexington; two brothers, Ronnie Beck of High Point and Harold Yates of Archdale; four half brothers, Jimmy Collins, Johnny Collins and Gary Collins, all of Thomasville, and Donald Collins of Hillsville; and four grandchildren, Noah Hulin, Nicholas Hulin, Brad Hulin and Chad Ramey.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, by the Rev. David Perry and the Rev. Tommy Short. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-8:30 tonight at the funeral home and other times at the residence.

Irene Ingram

Mrs. Irene L. Ingram, 76, of 1314 Furlough Ave. died Nov. 5, 2000, at her residence.
She was born April 16, 1924, in High Point, a daughter of Daniel and Saluda Lawson, who both preceded her in death. She was married to Braziet Ingram Sr. for 55 years. She graduated from High Point City Schools. She was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, serving as president of the board, mother of the church Missionary #1, Choir #1 and a member of Burrhill Sympathy Club. She retired from Guilford County schools, serving 20 years. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Thaddeus Lawson and a sister, Lottie Bradbury.
Surviving are her husband; three sons, Edward (Christine) Braziet Jr., Darrell (Annie) Ingram and Stanley Bryant Ingram; four daughters, Cynthia Lindsay, Brenda Rawlinson, Sylvia (Craig) Hogan and Judy Gordon; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Crawford of Philadelphia and Mrs. Ann Jackson of High Point; a stepsister, Lena Little; 14 grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; six special friends, Mrs. Marie Turner, Mrs. Joan Stanback, Mrs. Margaret Gillispie, James Turner, Greg Burris and Jonathon Washington; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church by the Rev. Robert Williams. Burial will be in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church and at other times at the residence.

Nancy Jones

Mrs. Nancy Jane Hedrick Jones, 89, formerly of Meadow Drive, died Nov. 5, 2000, at High Point Regional Hospital.
She was born Sept. 13, 1911, a daughter of F. Lee and Victoria Walker Hedrick. She was previously employed with Stout Chair Co. in Liberty. She was a member of New Heights Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Armp H. Jones in May 1982.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Louise Crumpler of Kernersville; four grandchildren, Pete Reitzel and his wife, Sharon, of Trinity, Ms. Linda Paschal of Trinity, Ronald Lee Reitzel and his wife, Dottie, of Greensboro and Tonya Chriscoe and her husband, Eddie, of Asheboro; seven great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Sechrest Funeral Service, Archdale, by the Rev. Roger Porter. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery, Siler City.

Mrs. Lissie Tesh McBride, 96, of Lexington Health Care died Nov. 5, 2000.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 10:15-10:45 a.m. at the funeral home and other times at the family members' respective homes.

Frankie James Perkins Sr., 70, died Nov. 5, 2000.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 7-9 tonight at Ridge Funeral Home.

Patricia Williams
High Point
Mrs. Patricia Ann Williams, 45, of 304 W. Kearns Ave. died Nov. 4, 2000, at High Point Regional Hospital.
She was born Dec. 5, 1954, in Dillon, S.C., a daughter of Charlie Thomas Wright and Celia Kravitz. She was married to Donald Ray Willis, who survives. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Tyron Wright.
Also surviving are a son, Maurice 'Reese' Wright; her mother of Dillon; two brothers, Charlie Wright Jr. of Atlanta and Timothy (Sandy) Aiken of Timmonsville, S.C.; two sisters, Ms. Pricella Wright of Dillon and Mrs. Sandra (Lamar) Miles of Atlanta; a grandson, Kyheem Daquane Wright; two aunts of New York; sisters-in-law; and a host of cousins, nieces and friends.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Carolina Biblical Gardens by the Rev. W.E. Diggs. Visitation will be 7:30-8:30 Wednesday at Hargett-Gilmore Funeral Services and at other times at the residence of Elmer Milton, 211 Windley St.

Mrs. Ora Kate Speer Driggers, 91, of 144 Garcia Kennedy Road died Nov. 6, 2000, at her residence.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale. Visitation will be 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Clifford Greeson
High Point
Clifford M. Greeson, 75, died Nov. 6, 2000, at High Point Regional Hospital.
He was born Feb. 7, 1925, in Randolph County, a son of William and Mary Wood Greeson, who both preceded him in death. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II. He retired from IBM Corp. after many years of service. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Greensboro. He enjoyed camping. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Sprague Greeson; six brothers; and a sister.
Surviving are two sisters, Irene G. May and her husband, C.H., of Julian and Helen Reynolds of Greensboro; and a brother, Norman H. Greeson and his wife, Jo Anne, of High Point.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel. Burial will be in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday after the service at the funeral home.

Evelyn Hauser
Winston-Salem
Mrs. Evelyn Logan Hauser, 87, died Nov. 7, 2000, at Salemtowne Retirement Community.
She was born Sept. 9, 1913, in Forsyth County, a daughter of Augustus Green and Ida Murphy Logan. She was a very active member of First United Methodist Church in High Point as long as her health permitted. She and her husband, Dallas Hampton Hauser, who preceded her in death, were part-owner and operators of Hauser and Marley Feed and Seed. She was a member of Oakview Garden Club in High Point and High Point Hospital Guild.
Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Tyree and her husband, Gene, of Fayetteville and Cecelia Shaver and her husband, Glenn, of Clemmons; four grandchildren, Lynn Tyree, Dallas Tyree and his wife, Jamie, Ashley McCormick and her husband, Joe, and Suzanne Shaver; a great-grandson, Nicholas; and a sister, Mary Tatum of Winston-Salem.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Forsyth Memorial Park by the Rev. Mark Curtis. Visitation will be 7-9 tonight at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
Memorials may be directed to First United Methodist Church, 512 N. Main St., High Point, N.C. 27260.
