VALE — Flora Denton Humphries, 77, of 380 Rockdale Road, died July 26, 2003. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Assembly of God in Gastonia where she was a member. Born in Gaston County, she was a homemaker and retired from Sweetree Manufacturing in Cherryville.

Born in Murphy, he was a former truck driver for Carolina Freight, a Mason, a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean War and a member of the Maiden Lodge #592.
