On Thursday morning, the 13th inst., at the bride's father's, in Meltonsville, by Elder A.L. STOUGH, Mr. R.S. REDFEARN, of White's Store, to Miss Kate CHAMBERS, all of Anson. 343. Died in Union county, on the 9th inst., Mrs. Permelia ROWLAND, wife of Sherwood ROWLAND, and daughter of John and Sarah GRIFFIN...aged 50 years, 5 months and 13 days. 344. On the 7th inst., John Hezekiah, infant son of Hezekiah and Julia E. HOUGH, aged four months and 13 days.
January 3, 1861 issue345. Married in Wadesboro', on the 26th ult., by Rev. S.D. DAVENPORT, Alexander S. LIPPITT, Esq., of Albany, Ga., and Miss Fannie Eveline, daughter of Dr. Walter G. JONES.346. On the 13th ult., at the house of Mr. Riley DIGGS, the bride's grandfather, by W.T. WILLIAMS, Esq., Mr. Henry R. HINSON to Miss Sarah F. FLOWERS, daughter of Joseph FLOWERS, of Mississippi. 347. On the 25th ult., by J.P. RATCLIFFE, Esq., Mr. Jas. F. DEAN, to Miss Eliza E. GRIFFIN, all of Anson. 348. Died in Cheraw, on Sunday morning, Mr. Edmund L. McNAIR, a merchant of that town, aged 25 years. 349. In this county, near Lilesville, on Friday evening, last, Miss Mary LIVINGSTON, aged 78 years...while returning to her home from Samuel SMITH'S, Sr. ...a member of the M.E. Church, for fifty years.

Wesley THOMAS, of Darlington District, S.C., to Miss Flora Ann, eldest daughter of Lemuel and Christian BEEMAN, of Anson County, N.C.351. In Charlotte, on the 25th ult., by the Rev. F.A. MOOD, Mr. W. SPRINKLE, to Miss Mary S. HOLTON, second daughter of T.J. HOLTON, Esq., deceased, late editor of the North Carolina Whig, all of Charlotte, N.C.

HALE jr., of Fayetteville, to Miss Maria Rhett HILL, daughter of Thomas HILL, Esq., of Haibron, near Pittsboro'. 357. At Asheville, on the 9th inst., by Rev. Mr. MORRISON, Rufus BARRINGER, Esq., of Concord, to Miss Rosalie A., daughter of Maj. A.B. CHUNN, of Asheville. 358. Died at his residence in Wilmington, at 10 o'clock, a.m., on the 16th inst., Brigadier General John COWAN, aged 37 years.

In Tippah county, Miss., on the 14th of February, Mr. Francis M. JERNIGAN, formerly of Anson county, N.C., but now a resident of Tippah county, to Miss Mary Ann ALEXANDER, of Tippah. 371. Died in this county, on the 1st inst., at the residence of her son, Eliel WOODBURN, Mrs. Sarah WOODBURN, in the 81st year of her age, formerly of Guilford county.

KILGORE, to Miss C.A. PRATT, all of this county. 374. In Union county, on the 22d ult., Mr. John J. HASTY to Miss Emeline SIMPSON. 375. Died on the 21st ult., in this county, near Cedar Hill, James M., son of F.A. and S.S. CLARK, aged about 10 years.
April 4, 1861 issue376. Died in Union county, on the 12th of March, Granny Sela (a slave, the property of Mrs. Jane GUTHINGS), age 110. Granny Sela said she was a grown woman in the Revolutionary War, and had three chidren when independence was declared..member of the Baptist Church.
April 18, 1861 issue377. Died, Suddenly, on Sunday the 8th inst., at his residence near White's Store, in this county, of apoplexy, John MEADOWS, aged about 80.

Died, Laura Matilda, the adopted child of Malcahi G. and Susan REDFEARN, in Anson county, N.C., April 5, 1861, aged 9 months and 15 days.

McCORKLE, Esq.390. Died in the vicinity of Enterprize, Miss., on the 28th of March, 1861, Barnabas HALL, son of Matthew HALL, a private in Capt. David L. EVANS's company of N.C. MIlitia, War of 1812. 391. Suddenly at Burch's Hotel, in the city of Raleigh, about 9 o'clock, on Friday the 24th ult., Hon. John HILL, delegate to the Covention from the county of Stokes. 392. At Charlotte at the residence of W.R. MYERS, Esq., Midshipman Theodore STURDIVANT, in his 22d year, at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning the 29th ult. 393. In Wadesboro', May the 20th, by the Rev. L.A. JOHNSON, Mr. W.O. BENNETT, to Miss Harriet BOGGAN, both of Wadesboro', N.C.

July 4, 1861 issue399. Died in this county on Sunday the 26th May, Mrs. Rebecca WILSON, relict of John WILSON, decd., in the 80th year of her age..member of the Methodist Church for 60 years.400. In this county, near Lilesville, on the 11th inst., Mr. Duncan LIVINGSTON, aged 71 years. He leaves an aged widow, five sons and three daughters. He was for many years, a worth member of the Methodist Church... 401. On the 18th inst., Robt. M. INGRAM, son of H.M. INGRAM, of this county. he left his home in this county some two years ago last March, and settled in Holmes co., Miss. 402. Letter from B.G. JONES on the death of J.F. HOUGH. Letter dated June 27th, 1861.
July 11, 1861 issue403. Died in Baker co., Ga., on the 19th June, after a severe illness, Lewis M. PARKER, formerly of Anson county, N.C., aged about 18 years.
