She married Michael Kuchmak of Eldorena, Alberta, Canada, on (5/6/1951) at St. Paul Evangelical Church and moved to Idaho for three years. She returned to Lincoln and worked at the Lincoln Goodwill for more than 20 years and at Wendy's for eight years. She resided in Lincoln for 70 years before moving to Everett.
