Tony Suitor officiated. Burial was at Lancaster Cemetery in Glasford. Memorials are suggested to Glasford Senior Citizens Center. Probyn was born Feb. 8, 1905 in Middle Grove, Ill., to Joshua Morse and Cora Stufflebeam. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Probyn; 3 brothers; 3 sisters; one grandson. She is survived by her sister, Lorraine Schoonover of Farmington; brother, Lucien Morse and wife Grace of Farmington; 2 sons, Keith Probyn and wife Vera of Glasford, Dwayne Probyn and wife Tina of Omaha; 4 daughters, Darlene Brandt and husband Tom of Pekin, Ina Beecham and husband Bill of Peoria, Juanita Bussell of Glasford, Marge Everett and husband Paul of Pekin; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Papillion resident Trena M. Hagan died April 16 at Papillion Manor. She was 82 years old. Funeral Services were Saturday, April 20 at United Methodist Church of Springfield. Rev. Matt Fowler officiated. Pallbearers were Arlo Nielsen, James Beck, Thomas Buskirk Sr., Earle Johnson, William Post Sr., William Post Jr. Memorials are suggested to Springfield Public Library or United Methodist Church of Springfield. Hagan was born April 8, 1920 in Collins, Missouri to Claude Lefler and Lula (Brown) Lefler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Leslie Hagan; her parents; 2 sons, Howard and Dwight Hagan; sister, Ruby Safine; brothers, Bert and Clarence Lefler; grandson, Shane Hagan. She is survived by daughters, Kathleen Rhoten and husband Carlton of Papillion, Linda Gabbard and husband Arthur of Omaha, Sheila Deming and husband Morse of Las Vegas, Utah, Mary Kay Stanoshek and husband Terrence of Omaha; son, Larry Hagan of Papillion; sister, Betty McAdam and husband Burdette of Ovid, Col.; brothers, Jack Lefler and wife Violet of Ceresco, Clyde Lefler and wife Mildred of Grass Valley, Cal., Claude Lefler of Bartlesville, Okl.; 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Glen Alley

Funeral services were May 9 at First United Methodist Church for Springfield resident Glen D. Alley, who died May 4 in Omaha. He was 75. Interment was at Springfield Cemetery. The Rev. F. Matt Fowler officiated. Pallbearers were Richard Gottsch, Gary Gottsch, Robert Gottsch, Rollin Alley, Robert Keyes, Gary Krajicek, Richard Krajicek and Mark Krajicek. Honorary pallbearers were the Springfield Class of 1944, Orville Nielsen, Donald Maystrick, Robert Startzer, Naomi Bundy, Alice Beck, Mary Haney, Alvin Milks, J. Lynn Sweenie and Darlene Schrum. Alley was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy; brother Rollind; and sister Erma Gosch. He is survived by his sisters Marie Keyes of Springfield and Doris Krajicek of Gretna; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Henry and Jean Gottsch, Lyle and Alice Gottsch, all of Springfield; and special friend Phyllis Albright of Omaha. Memorials can be sent to the Alzheimer's Association.

Angeline Costantini

Funeral services were May 9 at Kahler-Dolce Mortuary in Papillion for Omaha resident Angeline M. Costantini, who died May 6 at Clarkson Hospital. She was 85. Deacon Duane Thome officiated. Costantini was born Nov. 11, 1916, in Omaha, the daughter of Joseph and Antonina (Matangia) Scavio. She is survived daughters Rose Cherek and her husband Mark of Tucson, Ariz., Nina Caterinochio and her husband Joseph of Eagle River, Ark., and Teresa O'Connor and her husband Tom of Papillion; 10 grandchildren, including John Scott Gaeta and Gina Maria Vacanti-Hunter; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Theodore Pietryga
Aug. 17, 1941 - May 8, 2002
Beaver Lake, Iowa, resident Theodore Francis Pietryga died May 8 at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha. He was 60. Pietryga was born Aug. 17, 1941, the son of Edward and Ann (Rhye) Pietryga. He was a 1959 graduate of Omaha South and worked as a conductor for Union Pacific Railroad for 34 years. In 1960, he married Ann Marie Anderson. Funeral services were May 11 at Church of the Holy Spirit in Plattsmouth. The Rev. Patrick O'Byrne officiated. Interment was at St. John's Cemetery in Bellevue. Pallbearers were George Burrette, Mick Marsicek, Don Mauhr, Terry Randone, Ray Rhye and Rick Walker. Honorary pallbearers were Micaela, Cortney, Julia, Dustin, Luke, Abby, Chasen, Alex, Erin, Hunter, Jake and Coralyn Pietryga. Pietryga was preceded in death by his parents and brother John Rhye. He is survived by his brother Richard and his wife Marge of Omaha. Memorials can be sent to the Church of the Holy Spirit in Plattsmouth.

Mary Ellen Welshinger
June 15, 1917 - May 4, 2002
Funeral services were May 7 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Papillion for Omaha resident Mary Ellen Welshinger, who died May 4 at Mercy Care Center. She was 84. Interment was at Calvary Cemetery in Omaha. The Rev. Bill Founier officiated. Pallbearers were John Dlouhy, Christopher Welshinger, Todd Ritter, Kenneth Ritter, Lanny Weaklend and Robert Henrichsen. Welshinger was born June 15, 1917, in Duluth, Minn., the daughter of Martin and Florence (Palmer) Borugh. She was preceded in death by her husband George; and daughter Mary Jo Dlouhy. She is survived by her son Robert and his wife Barbara of Omaha; daughter Wendy of Papillion; sisters Nancy Kiehl and her husband Cliff, JoAnne Gottwatt and her husband Elmer, and Colleen Antiel; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
