WAYNE - A memorial service will be held in Wayne next spring for Dr. Lyle E. Seymour, Wayne State College president emeritus. Age 83, he died Friday, Dec. 2, 2005, in Chicago, where he had undergone two surgeries following a heart attack last month. A family funeral service was Tuesday in Grayslake, Ill., home of Seymour’s daughter, Pamela Johnson. Cremation followed. A public memorial service will be held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Wayne on May 26. Burial will be in Wayne.
