Frank Armstrong of the First Baptist Church in Norfolk officiated and burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Military rites were conducted by American Legion Post 16 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Winter-Munson Post 1644. He died Thursday, April 5, 2001, at Faith Regional Health Services.
