Rosa N. Goyco
Rosa N. Goyco, 70, of Hammonton, died Saturday, March 11 [2000], at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Hammonton.
Surviving her are: three sons, Julio Goyco, of Hammonton, Jose Luis Goyco, of Hammonton, and Santos Goyco, of Connecticut; one daughter, Genoveva Goyco, of Puerto Rico; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 14, at the Carnesale Funeral Home in Hammonton. Burial followed at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.
Arrangments were made by the Carnesale Funeral Home.

Vincent J. Mattioli
Vincent J. Mattioli, 49, of Hammonton, son of the late Gilda (Greco), died Monday, March 6 [2000], at his residence.
Born in Hammonton, Mattioli was an area resident all his life. He was an audio technician employed by Atlantic Cape Community College. He graduated from Villanova University in 1996 with a BA degree. He graduated first in his class at Pennco Tech. He attended the seminary of the Paulist Order for two years. He was a musician and while in college was proficient in playing the fiddle, guitar and Celtic harp. He was an avid chess player, and was an active member of St. Joseph’s Church.
Surviving him are: his father, Clarence J. Mattioli, Esq., of Ocean City; two brothers, Eli Mattioli, Esq., of Scarsdale, NY; and Clarence E. Mattioli, Esq., of Hammonton; four sisters, Carol Hoffman, of Katonah, NY, Anna Mae Jacobs, of Hammonton, Lisa Sacchi, of Brooklyn, and Grace Mattioli, of Brooklyn.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 10, at St. Joseph’s Church in Hammonton.
Donations may be made to the Hammonton Rescue Squad, 300 S. Egg Harbor Rd., Hammonton, NJ 08037.
Arrangements were made by the Marinella Funeral Home.

Katherine Sampson
Katherine Sampson, 81, of Pomona, died Sunday, March 5 [2000], at her daughter Linda’s residence, with whom she resided for the past five years.
Born in New York City, Sampson formerly lived in Weymouth. She also lived in Florida for several years. She was a housemaker and was employed at one time at the W.T. Grant and Kreski’s Dept. Stores as a clerk in Hammonton and various other locations. She loved flowers and working in her garden. She also attended to many elderly people in need of assistance in various ways.
Surviving her are: four daughters, Linda Bonanata and her husband Joseph, of Pomona, Lori Magee, of Absecon, Marie Cenzalli, of Syracuse, NY, and Catherine Granto, of Malaga; five sons, Dave Sampson and his wife Peggy, of Syracuse, NY, James Sampson and his wife Althea, of Syracuse, NY, William Sampson, of Syracuse, NY, Anthony Pensado, of Poughkepsie, NY, and Daniel Pensado, of Buena Acres; one brother, Richard Henderson, of Calif.; and 14 grandchildren.
Private graveside services were held at the Friendship Cemetery in Landisville at the convenience of the family, under the direction of the Landolfi Funeral Home.
Arrangements were made by the Landolfi Funeral Home.

Louise M. DiBabbo
Louise M. DiBabbo, 71, of Elm, died Friday, March 10 [2000], at home.
Born in Philadelphia, DiBabbo was a longtime resident there before moving to New Jersey. She was previously employed as a manager of Famous Made Shops in Philadelphia.
DiBabbo was the wife of the late Joseph P. DiBabbo Jr. Surviving her are: her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph T. III and Pamela DiBabbo, of Nesco; five grandchildren, Joseph DiBabbo IV, Jason Christopher DiBabbo, Jennifer DiBabbo, Dakoto Lynn and Coti Morgan DiBabbo; and three great-grandchildren, Gianni DiBabbo, Joseph DiBabbo V, and Jason DiBabbo.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, March 13, at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church . Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeardon, Pa. at a later date.
The family requests donations to the Hammonton Assembly of God Food Bank, Rt. 206, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
Arrangements were made by the Carnesale Funeral Home.

Aurelio “Lobby” Continisio
Aurelio “Lobby” Continisio, 85, of Hammonton, died Sunday, March 19 [2000], at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Phila., Pa., Continisio lived in Hammonton most of his life. He was a retired owner of The C & P Coat Company, a family business in Hammonton for more than 50 years. He was a graduate of Hammonton High School Class of 1934, a past president of the Hammonton Kiwanis Club with 40 years of perfect attendance and a member of Hammonton Town Council from 1942-1950.
Continisio was predeceased by his late wife Vivian (DiMarino) and his daughter Mary Rita.
Surviving him are: his wife, Antoinette (Toni); two sons, Nicholas Continisio, of Hamilton Twp., and Richard Continisio and his wife Julie, of Marmora; two daughters, Augusta Przygoda and her husband Francis, of Hoboken, and Lia Continisio, of Dennisville, NJ; his brother, Ralph Continisio, of Elwood; two sisters, Mary Bancheri, of Ocean City, and Jenny Schenk, of Hammonton.; and five grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial today at 10:30 a.m. at St. Martin de Porres Church in Hammonton. Burial followed at Greenmount Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations: St. Martin de Porres Church Building Fund, 129 Park Ave., Hammonton, NJ 08037, or the Foundation of W. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital, PO Box 437, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
Arrangements were made by the Marinella Funeral Home.

The Reverend Ralph F. Firneo
Reverend Ralph F. Firneno, S.A.C., 69, died Friday, March 17 [2000], in Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park, Md.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, Firneno was the son of the late Dr. Gioacchino Robert and Anna (nee Dallessio) Firneno, and brother of the late John Firneno. Firneno entered the Pallottine Seminary in Sag Harbor, NY, in March 1949 and on May 1, 1949, he joined the novice class. His First Consecration was in Washington, DC on May 1, 1951; he was ordained as a Priest on June 14, 1957, at All Saints Church in Brooklyn, NY by Bishop John Boardman, DD. Firneno received a BA in Philosophy at Catholic University in 1954; his MA in Education Administration in 1959 from Villanova, and he received an honorary Ph.D. at St. Thomas University in 1985. Firneno joined the faculty of Bishop Eustace Preparatory School in Pennsauken in 1957. He became principal in 1966 and remained there as principal until 1969. From 1969 until 1972 he was the Rector for the Pallottine Seminary in W. Hyattsville, Md. In 1972 until 1975 and from 1979 until 1988 he was the Provincial of the Immaculate Conception Providence. In 1988, Firneno returned to Bishop Eustace as Rector and from 1990 to 1999 he served as principal. In 1999 he was named Rector of the Pallottine Seminary.
Surviving him are: one brother, Frank Firneno, of Naples, Fla.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, March 21, at St. Joseph’s RC Church in Hammonton. Burial followed at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bishop Eustace Preparatory School, in memory of Father Ralph F. Firneno, 5552 Marlton Pike, Pennsauken, NJ 08109-4798.
Arrangements were made by the Carnesale Funeral Home.

Marianne Iannaco
Marianne Iannaco (Finn), 51, of Waterford, died Tuesday, March 14 [2000], at her residence.
Born in Lynn, Mass., Iannaco was an area resident for 31 years. She was the office manager and co-owner of Iannaco Tire Supply of Waterford. She was a member of the Parents Club of West Point Academy and a former member of Waterford Vol. Fire Co. Auxiliary.
Surviving her are: her husband, Kenneth; two daughters, Mary Beth Iannaco, of Waterford, and Kami Iannaco, of Waterford; three sisters, Sheila Hoff, of Los Angeles, Calif., Elizabeth Barker, of Jacksonville, Alabama, and Patricia Fedorchak, of Port Republic, Md.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, March 18 at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Waterford.
Internment followed at the convenience of the family.
Donations may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Church, 450 Pennington Ave., Waterford, NJ 08089.
Arrangements were made by the Marinella Funeral Home.

Anthony J. Puleo
Anthony J. Puleo, 63, of Hammonton, died Monday, March 13 [2000], at his residence.
Born in Winslow, Puleo was an area resident all his life. He was a retired construction worker for Bancheri Construction Co. of Hammonton for many years.
Surviving him are: his wife, Mary Ann (Otis); two daughters, Elizabeth Danya, of Hammonton, and Caroline Puleo, of Hammonton; and five grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, March 15, at St. Joseph’s Church in Hammonton. Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Joseph “Phil” Comunale
Joseph “Phil” Comunale, 74, of Elm, died Wednesday, March 15 [2000], at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Elm, Comunale was an area resident all his life. He was self-employed and operated Comunale Appliance Service of Elm since 1972.
Surviving him are: his wife of 50 years, Anna (Parzanese); two daughters, Carol Harvey and her husband Robert, of Marlton, and Barbara Tremblay and her husband Steven, of Elm; his mother, Rose, of New Rochelle, NY; three brothers, Albert Comunale, of Phar, Texas, Anthony Comunale, of New Rochelle, NY, and Frank Comunale, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; his grandchildren, Christine and Steven Tremblay, and Carolyn, Nicole and Brooke Harvey; and several nieces, nephews and a loving family.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, March 20, at St. Joseph’s Church in Hammonton. Entombment followed at Greenmount Cemetery.
Donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Church, N. Third St., Hammonton, NJ 08037.
