Earl W. Missimer, 101, of Hammonton and formerly of Elm died Monday, October 20, 2003 at home.
Born in Philadelphia he lived in this area for more than 35 years. Mr. Missimer was an electrician for Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia. He was a member of the Cedar Brook Bible Church.
Surviving him are: daughters, Kathryn Jansen of Fort Myers, Fla., Ruth Horgan of Elm, Carol Giacobbe of Hammonton; 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services Thursday, October 23, at 11 a.m. at the Carnesale Funeral Home followed by burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
The family requests donations to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.

Phyllis Porretta
Phyllis Porretta, 89, died Sunday, October 19, 2003. She was born, raised, and lived all her life in South Philadelphia.
Predeceased by husband, Peter. Surviving her are: son, Joseph Porretta and wife Josephine of Hammonton; daughter, Carolyn Garvin and husband Robert of Huntingdon Valley, Barbara Mackey and husband William of Cedar Brook; three sisters; ten grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be held at Leonetti’s Funeral Home in South Philadelphia.

Joanne Favoretto
Joanne Favoretto (nee Culmone), 52, of Hammonton died October 14, 2003.
Joanne graduated from Hammonton High School in 1969 and worked for M.L. Ruberton Insurance Agency in Hammonton for the past seven years.
Pre-deceased by father, Joseph Culmone. Surviving her are: daughter, Margaret B. Prus at home; parents, Amelia and husband Joseph H. Masi of Buena; grandmother, Sue Previte; sisters, Debbie Zane of Buena, Jody Culmone-Harvey of Laurel, Md., Laura Culmone of Laurel, Md., Cheri Culmone of Buena; brothers, Joseph Culmone Jr., of Greenbelt, Md., Don Yaquinta of St. Clairesville, Ohio; nephews, Kevin, Kyle, Zachary, Anthony; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, October 18, at Assumption RC Church in Atco followed by Interment at Oak Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gina Ciranni, Guardian for Joanne’s daughter, Margaret. Contributions may be sent to the funeral home or to the family.

Richard Gatchell
Richard Gatchell Sr., 65, of Hammonton, died Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at William B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Swanton, Ohio he was a Hammonton area resident since 1974. Before retiring Mr. Gatchell worked as a mechanic for Statewide Highway Safety in Folsom.
Surviving him are: wife, Kathleen (nee Spado); son, Richard Jr. and wife Kim of Winslow Twp.; grandsons, Nicholas and Anthony both of Winslow Twp.; brother, George of Ohio.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services on Friday, October 24, at the Carnesale Funeral Home followed by burial at Greenmount Cemetery.

Dominic “Buddy” Zinno
Dominic “Buddy” Zinno, 75, of Hammonton died Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at home.
He was born and raised on the family farm on the White Horse Pike in Hammonton where he lived and farmed until his farm was needed for the new Hammonton High School.
Surviving him are: sons, Dominic, Ronnie; many grandchildren; sisters, Theresa Cappuccio of Hammonton, Rose Cicala of Melbourne, Fla., Lillian Southard of Lake Worth, Fla.; many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Zinno was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Veteran of Foreign War Post No. 1026 in Hammonton and the American Legion Post in Elm. Buddy enjoyed spending time with his many good and loyal friends. He enjoyed watching football and deer hunting.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, October 24, at St. Joseph’s RC Church followed by burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.
The family wishes to express gratitude for his caregiver, Daniel Danso and to Hospice Care of South Jersey especially his nurse, Pat. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Care of South Jersey, 2848 S. Delsea Drive, Vineland, NJ 08360.

Richard Adamucci Sr.
Richard (Dick) Adamucci Sr., 68, of Mays Landing died Saturday, November 1, 2003 at his residence after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Born and raised in Hammonton, he lived in Avalon before moving to Mays Landing in 1999. Adamucci retired in 2002 as president of the Adamucci Oil and Pomona Oil Companies which were founded by his father Henry Ernest Adamucci in 1932. He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a graduate of Hammonton High School in 1952 and attended Bucknell University for two years. He was also a member of many local civic and social clubs. Adamucci sponsored many activities including bowling leagues, baseball and soccer teams, the Adamucci Oilers Semi Pro Softball Team, the Italian Stallions and the Indian Mills Mystics fast pitch softball team. He was an avid Bicyclist Du Athlete and rode in the MS 150 yearly.
Surviving him are: wife, Rose Marie; son, Richard Jr. and his wife KellieAnn of Hammonton; daughter Lorian Waddell and her husband Thomas of Hammonton; step children, Mark Briggs and his wife Laurie of Lumberton, Melissa Pezzuto and her husband Joseph of Hammonton, Nicole Hunter and her husband Stephen of Cape May Court House; 12 grandchildren. Predeceased by: parents, Henry Ernest Adamucci and Theresa (nee Panichello); former wife Jean (Mick).
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing today after 8:30 a.m. at the Marinella Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Martin de Porres Church. Burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society, 626 N. Shore Road, Absecon, NJ 08201 or the Holy Redeemer Visiting Nurse Agency, 6727 Delilah Road, First Floor, Egg Harbor Twp., NJ 08234.

Mark J. Bresani
Mark J. Bresani, 18, of Williamstown died suddenly Friday, October 31, 2003 as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Woodbury, he was a lifelong resident of Williamstown.
Bresani was currently a senior at St. Joseph High School in Hammonton where he was an offensive lineman for the football team, a pitcher for the baseball team, and an announcer for the basketball team.
Surviving him are: parents, Mark A. and Cindy (nee Coppolino) of Williamstown, sister, Elena Bresani of Williamstown; maternal grandparents, Philip and Dorothy Coppolino of Washington Twp.; paternal grandparents Rita Bresani and the late Joseph Bresani of Wenonah.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing today from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church, S. Main Street and Carroll Avenue, Williamstown, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Williamstown.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Mark J. Bresani Scholarship Fund, c/o St. Joseph High School, 133 N. Third Street, Hammonton, NJ 08037.

Lucy Capuano
Lucy Capuano (nee Donio), 102, died Saturday, November 1, 2003.
Predeceased by: husband, Edmond J. Capuano. Surviving her are: sons, Gaetano “Ed,” Anthony and his wife Ritamarie, Donald and his wife Marie, Bernard and his wife Margaret; daughter, Anna Nardo and her husband Mario; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; four sisters; one brother.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing today at 8:30 a.m. at Ruffenach Funeral Home, 21st Street and Snyder Avenue followed by funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Monica Church. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.

Dorothy Hightower
Dorothy Hightower, 66, of Weymouth died Thursday, October 16, 2003 at home.
Born in Eutawville, SC, she was a resident of the Weymouth area for 34 years. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Hammonton.
Predeceased by parents: Willie and Ellen Williams, infant daughter, Doretha Hightower, brothers, Wilton Williams, Eddie Davis. Surviving her are: husband, Herbert James Hightower; daughters, Patricia Ann Hightower of Wilmington, Sheila Lynn Gibbs of Mays Landing; grandsons, Clayton Edward Smith of Rockville, SC, Jason Lamar Gibbs of Mays Landing; granddaughter, Tanisha Lynn Price of Newark, Del.; sisters, Aires Walker, Virginia Simmons, both of SC; great grandchildren, Jada, Koby, Aarron, Tiffany, Seth; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as many loving in-laws and wonderful devoted friends from the Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services Saturday, November 8, at 1 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, N. Chew Road, Hammonton.

Florence Yanko, 87, of Hammonton died Wednesday, October 29, at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a Hammonton area resident for more than 60 years.
Predeceased by her husband, Frank; grandson, Frankie Myrtetus Jr. Surviving her are: daughters, Jamie Gold and husband Bob of Hammonton, Robin Boruck and husband Don of Folsom; Ellie Campanella and husband Joe of Hammonton; Barbara Balderman and husband Bob of Clarkesville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Robert, Christopher, Nicholas, Renee, Daniel, Nicole, Joseph Jr., Lori, Larry, Tiffany; seven great grandchildren.
Burial and services are private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hammonton Rescue Squad, 300 S. Egg Harbor Road, Hammonton, NJ 08037.

Michael S. Dorkowski
Michael S. Dorkowski, 60, of Collings Lakes died Friday, November 7, 2003, at home.
Born in Philadelphia, he lived in Collings Lakes for the past 42 years. He was a utility worker for the Trump Marina Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City for 14 years. Mr. Dorkowski was an avid and loyal Philadelphia sports fan.
Predeceased by his father, Stanley Dorkowski. Surviving him are: mother, Mary (nee Garbaty); sisters, Geraldine DiEnno and her husband Anthony of Cedar Brook, Victoria Salvia and her husband Anthony of Berlin; loving uncle of Anthony and Joy DiEnno, Christopher Salvia, Patricia Salvia, Anita DiEnno; great uncle to Jennifer, Anthony, Brittany DiEnno and Nicholas DiEnno; dear friends, Paul and Regina Yecco.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services November 11, at Our Lady of the Lakes Church in Collings Lakes followed by burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Leon A. Gazzara
Leon A. Gazzara, 87, of Hammonton died Friday, November 7, 2003 at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Hammonton.
Born in Hammonton he was a lifelong resident. Before retiring Mr. Gazzara worked as a welder for New York Shipyard in Camden. He was a member of the Rosedale Gun Club, Amalgamated Clothing Worker’s Union, St. Martin DePorres R.C. Church and was an original member of the Sons of Italy Lodge No. 1658 in Hammonton.
Predeceased by his wife, Grace Gazzara. Surviving him are: son, Leon J. Gazzara of Hammonton; three grandchildren and their spouses, Sharon Garrett and her husband Loren of Brigantine, Leon J. Gazzara Jr. and his wife Cindy of Hammonton, Grace Marie Gazzara of Medford Lakes; great grandchildren, Nina Nicole Gazzara, Isabel Simone Gazzara; brothers, Nicholas Gazzara of Minotola, Charles Gazzara of Turnersville, Joseph Gazzara of Ancora, Vincent Gazzara of Hammonton; sisters, Mary Warren of Hammonton, Theresa Panter of Egg Harbor Twp., Catherine D’Arcangelo of Elmtowne, Jennie Plageman of Mullica Twp., and his companion, Mary Merline of Egg Harbor City.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial Monday, November 10, at St. Martin DePorres R.C. Church followed by burial at Greenmount Cemetery.

Loretta C. Griffith
Loretta C. Griffith, 66, of Collings Lakes died Monday, November 3, 2003 in William B. Kessler Memorial Hospital, Hammonton.
Born in Audubon, she lived in Collings Lakes for 43 years. Mrs. Griffith was a line worker for Kellogg and Braddock Food Companies in Blue Anchor. She was a member of the Collings Lakes Rescue Squad.
Surviving her are: husband, Andrew J. Griffith Jr.; sisters, Patricia Barbagli, Barbara Neal, Theresa Murphy; brother, Louie Neal; two grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services Thursday, November 6, at the Carnesale Funeral Home followed by burial in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
