Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a bus driver and later a bus aide with the Sayreville Board of Education, where she worked for 15 years. Her husband, John F. Miskell, died in 1999; a son, Dennis, died in February; another son, John Miskell died in August; and a granddaughter, Casey Miskell, died in 1988. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Gers of the Parlin section of Sayreville; a brother, Harry Goetz of Vermont; a sister, Ann Breen of California; and six grandchildren. GRACE WOODBURY SANER, 78, of Spotswood died Oct. 11 in St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in New Haven, Conn., she lived in Astoria, N.Y., before moving to Spotswood in 1955. She was a former member of the Spotswood Zoning Board of Adjustment and Board of Elections and served as recording secretary for the Friends of the Spotswood Office on Aging. She was a member of Spotswood Reformed Church and Spotswood Senior Citizens. Prior to her retirement in 1991, she was employed as a copy editor at Greater Media Newspapers, East Brunswick. A granddaughter, Marlo Ann Reich, died in 1999. Surviving are her husband, Vincent Saner; two sons, Steven Reich of Montville and Robert Saner of Jamesburg; five daughters, Arlene Shmenco of the Parlin section of Sayreville, Phyllis Farr-Weinstein of Georgia, Virginia Slaney of Long Island, N.Y., Laurie Saner of the Flagtown section of Hillsborough and Judith Costigan of Monroe; and nine grandchildren. CECIL A. LETTS, 85, of Morganville died Oct. 15 at home. Born in South Amboy, she lived there before moving to Marlboro 25 years ago. She was an administrative assistant for Pittanney Arsenal for 40 years upon retirement in 1970. She was a communicant of Christ Church, South Amboy, and was active with many arts groups. She is survived by three cousins, John Letts of Sayreville, Thomas Kvist of South Amboy, and Elaine Parrish of Middletown. Services were arranged by Day Funeral Home, Keyport. ESTELLE SOLOMON, 78, of Manalapan died Oct. 9 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to Manalapan nine years ago. Mrs. Solomon was a purchasing agent for Downstate Medical Center, N.Y., retiring in 1985. She was a member of Deborah Hospital Foundation; and a member of Women's American ORT (Organization for Educational Resources Through Technical Training). Mrs. Solomon was a widow. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Bette and Jeffrey Schifrin of Old Bridge; a sister, Renee Tratten of Tamarac, Fla.; and two grandchildren. Before that, he worked for Rutgers Commons, New Brunswick. His wife, Anna Catherine Klase Schetrumpf, died in 1988. Surviving are four daughters, Barbara A. Schmidt of Spotswood, Sandra L.
