On NM 337, go 5.3 miles South from Sandia Ranger Station to Cedro turnoff

Cerro Cemetery at El Cedro, Bernalillo County, New Mexico.  This cemetery is often 
referred to as the Cerro/Cedro Cemetery.  It is located on South NM 337 about 5 miles 
south of the Sandia Ranger station in Tijeras and Interstate 40.
 
Cedro is Spanish for "cedar" and there are cedar trees in the area.  The Cedro settlement 
is in Cedro Canyon.
 
This cemetery was walked in 2006 and additional historical records were used to correct 
and add to the information.  There is only an occasional burial now.
