Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery
CEMETERY INSCRIPTIONS
BERNALILLO COUNTY, NEW MEXICO

Sunset Memorial Memorial Park
924 Menaul Blvd. N.E.
Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico

First Name: Last Name:

Cemetery is located at Menaul Blvd. and Edith Blvd. N.E.

This is a beautiful cemetery with lawns, mausoleums, and chapel.  There are 31,198 names on the attached file.  It was a BIG cemetery!

In regards to some of the inscriptions, the two letter code before a military inscription generally is the STATE.  Thus NM Pvt U.S. Army means "New Mexico Private U.S. Army.  I didn't want it to be confused as a ranking of the military person.  Also in the inscription column are some strange numbers.  These are mostly out of the Non-Endowed section.  The metal tags give the persons name and then the number.  Sometimes a date is indicated in the numbers, but mostly they reference the persons file
in the office.

The sixth column is an abbreviated form of what section in the cemetery the person is buried.   The seventh column is the position within the section.
