Warren Elwood "Bud" Bush
Warren Elwood "Bud" Bush passed into eternity in his home in Conewango Valley at 21:37 (9:37 p.m.) on Monday November 5, 2007 to be with his loved ones.
Bud a WWII veteran serving in the Pacific Theatre, attended JHS and retired from Blackstone Corporation.
He was preceded in death by his father Donald H. Bush, mother Marion Thompson, a sister Mary Elizabeth Casselman, his beloved first wife Mary Elizabeth Bush, his son David Bush, his second wife Sara Bush and his cherished long time companion Lucille McCarty.
He is survived by his four children Jerry E. Bush of Mayville, Ronald E. (Darlene) Bush of Sherman, Marianne F. (Ray) Lawson of Kennedy, Donna L. Bush of North East, PA, 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, his sister Barbara Jean Goss of Clearwater, FL and a half brother Donny Bush of Jamestown.
Bud was a friend, father, grandfather, great grandfather, a craftsman, co-worker and all around spectacular man who will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. John Harvey of New Apostolic Church will officiate. Inurnment will be in Soldiers Circle of Lake View Cemetery.
Friends will be received by the family one hour prior to the memorial service in the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Chautauqua County Hospice, 4840 West Lake Rd., Mayville, NY 14757.

Robert E. "Doc" Watson
Robert E. "Doc" Watson, 70, passed on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at Heritage Village.
Born September 25, 1937 in Lewes Delaware, he had worked at Fairchild Hiller and traveled many years doing construction with NALEWS. He retired from Chautauqua Hardware after 20 years of service.
An avid bowler, he had also loved to fish and was a sports enthusiast. He was the camp ranger at Camp Merz from 1980 to 1984 in Mayville, NY.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and his beloved dog, Chong. Doc belonged to the Moose Club, Brothers By Choice (he enjoyed riding his motorcycle) as well as being a member of the environmental group Save Our Lake Environment (S.O.L.E.).
He is survived by his wife of 34 years Jo Ann Pfeiffer Watson, sons; Wade (Amy) Watson of Ashville Farron (Tina) Watson of Falconer, Robert Watson Jr. of Long Island, NY, Paul Watson of Raleigh, NC and Allen Watson of Long Island, NY. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; Duane, Sally, John, Rayne, Robert, Christine, Melanie, Bryan, Jesse, Alan and Matthew Watson.
He was preceded in death by his children Lance C. and Sheena C. Watson, his mother Frances Perry and Step Father Alfred Perry, both of Long Island, NY.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Memorials may be made to the Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy, 413 North Main St., Jamestown, NY 14701 or to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Rd., Jamestown, NY 14701.

Patricia Joan Schulz
Patricia Joan Schulz, 74, of Rocky Mount, NC, formerly of Falconer died Wednesday, November 6, 2007.
She was born March 15, 1933 in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Alvin (Aubby) and Ruth Rolfe Anderson.
Patricia was a graduate of Jamestown High School and prior to retirement was employed by Marlin Rockwell Corporation for 35 years. She enjoyed spending time with friends, golfing, and being surrounded by family. She will be remembered for her giving heart and sense of humor.
She is survived by two daughters Rebecca Carley of Florida, Beverlee Williams of Rocky Mount, NC, three sons; Ronald Shulz, Richard Shulz and Todd Schulz all of Jamestown, a sister Susan Anderson Bastian, and a brother Donald N. Anderson. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Internment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the memorial service.

Alfred R. Clark Sr.
Alfred R. Clark Sr., 84, of Gerry, NY, formerly of 130 Chautauqua Ave. in Jamestown, died November 7th, 2007 in WCA Hospital.
A native of Jamestown he was born November 10th, 1922, the son of Claude and Anna Clark.
He served in the U.S. Army for Three years during WWII.
He Was employed at Crawford Furniture and Jamestown Finishes, where he retired.
He was a huge sports fan, always loved to watch his children and grandchildren play sports.
Surviving are a brother, LeRoy Clark of Jamestown, Two Sisters, Dorothy Lundsten of Lakewood, Elsie Faulk of Jamestown.
Three Sons, Alfred Clark Jr. of Rockville Center, NY, Dayle Clark and Brad Clark both of Jamestown. Three Daughters Cathy Dunlop of Siesta Keys, FL, Sandra Russell of Houston, TX, and Lorrie Boyce of Waterford, PA. Ten Grandchildren, Rhonda Hanson, of Siesta Keys, FL., Robin Porter of Jamestown, Jason Russell and Chris Russell of Houston, TX, Tammy Clark of Lander, PA, Amanda DeStevens of Glendale, AZ., and Jessica Clark of Jamestown.
Nicole Boyce, Natalie Boyce and Mark Boyce of Waterford, PA. and Eight Great-Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Jean Clark, Sister, Catherine Piazza, and Companion, Lela Shelters.
All services will be private.

Willard L. "Zorro" Wilson
Willard L. "Zorro" Wilson, 83, of 311 Charles St., Jamestown died Thursday, November 8, 2007 in WCA Hospital.
He was born May 29, 1924 in Bear Lake, PA and was the son of the late Alton and Emma Jukes Wilson.
Willard attended schools in Bear Lake and was a veteran of WWII serving from 1943 to 1947and was employed by Falconer Central High School retiring in 1977.
He was a member of the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club, Samuel Derby Post 556, American Legion and was a volunteer for the Resource Center. Willard enjoyed playing bingo and shopping at the local farmers market.
He is survived by two daughters; Louise (Wayne) Shelley of Falconer, Lorraine (Edward) LeFort of Jamestown, four grandchildren; Tammy J. Russell of Falconer, Richard Shelley, Michael Shelley, Mackenzie LeFort all of Jamestown, six great grandchildren; Richard Shelley Jr., Brooke Shelley, Michael J. Shelley, Nicholas Shelley, Noah Shelley and Holdon Russell, two sisters Phyllis (Steven) TenPas of Frewsburg and Margurete Rinebolt of Virginia.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Isva Bertini Wilson whom he married November 18, 1945 in Liverno, Italy, who died February 17, 2006.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home and one hour prior to the funeral service Monday.

Daniel G. Kamprath
Daniel G. Kamprath, 79, formerly of 206 Getzville Rd., Amherst died at 10:25 a.m. Monday (November 12, 2007) in Absolut Care of Westfield.
He was born July 22, 1928 in Buffalo the son of the late Ferdinand and Marguerite Barth Kamprath.
Daniel was a graduate of Bennett High School and the University at Buffalo School of Engineering, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1951 to 1952.
He enjoyed a 30 year career as a mechanical engineer in the aerospace industry at Bell Aerosystems Co. retiring in 1978. He was instrumental in the development of the Agena Rocket propulsion system and the Minuteman III Rocket Engine Program, as well as the Lunar Module Ascent Engine program.
Daniel was an avid outdoorsman and along with his wife enjoyed many camping trips in the Adirondacks as well as frequent fishing trips on Chautauqua Lake.
Surviving is his wife Betty J. Berg Kamprath, and nieces, Carol (Joe) Mc Cafferty, Janet Hartman, Elaine McGowen, all of Pipersville, PA, Bonnie (John) Wysard of Westfield, Deanie Thorsell of Dewittville, Darcie (William) Younger of Mesa, AZ, Lavonne Berg of Dallas, TX and nephews, Ron Berg of Encinitas, CA, and Kent Berg of Dallas, TX.
Dan is also survived by the very special staff who cared so well for him at the former Manor Oak Nursing Home and at Absolut of Westfield.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Nancy Kamprath Hartman.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday Nov. 17 in the Falconer Funeral Home. Pastor Rick Huber will officiate. Visitation will not be observed.
Burial will be in the Buffalo Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Westfield Memorial Hospital Foundation, 189 E. Main St. Westfield, N.Y. 14787.

Michael William Bennett
Michael William Bennett, 31, of 219 East Elmwood Ave., Falconer died at 9:32 p.m. Monday (November 12, 2007) in the Town of Ellicott as the result of an automobile accident.
A life long area resident he was born August 7, 1976 in Jamestown, the son of William E. Bennett and Marlene F. Hammond.
Michael was a graduate of Falconer Central School and was employed at Townline Auto as a manager.
He was an avid golfer and enjoyed riding motorcycles, four wheeling and spending time with family and friends, and was a member of the Falconer Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his wife Diana M. Abers Bennett whom he married August 20, 2005 in Kennedy, four step children Evan, Nicholas, Tyler and Chelsea Walker, his mother Marlene F. Macey and Step Father Bruce Macey of Falconer, his Step Mother Suellen Bennett of Kennedy, and two brothers Matthew Frederick Bennett and Joshua Michael Bennett, his maternal grandmother Lois Swanson and several aunts, uncles and cousins, including Jennifer Trask and Klayton Campbell.
He was preceded in death by his father William E. Bennett who died September 4, 2001.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Pastor Jennifer Delahoy of Kennedy United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Kennedy Riverside Cemetery.
Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Kennedy Volunteer Fire Department, Kennedy, NY 14747.

Morgan C. Marks
Morgan C. Marks, 39, of Fluvanna Townline Rd. died at 9:07 p.m. Monday (November 12, 2007) in the Town of Ellicott as the result of an automobile accident.
A life long area resident, he was born April 3, 1968 in Jamestown, the son of Susan Wilson Carr , and the late Forest D. Marks .Morgan attended Jamestown Public Schools and was employed by Townline Auto as an auto technician. He loved four wheeling, camping, hunting, restoring classic cars, spending time with those he held close, and was an avid NASCAR Fan. Following in his late father's footsteps, he raced stock cars at Stateline Speedway for many years, winning several trophies. Known to most of his friends as " Mo", he was always there to lend a helping hand or a good laugh. He never said no to a good run on his wheeler in the statelands, with his good buddies, the "Band of Brothers". He truly was a "gentle giant". He was and is so very loved, and we will all keep him close to our hearts. He is survived by his fiance Karen R. Betts of Fluvanna, two sons; Forest J. Marks and Paul Marks, two daughters, Rebecca Noyd of Jamestown, and Adrionna Carey of North Carolina. He is also survived by his mother, Susan Carr of Jamestown, three step children, Courtney Dawson and Mallory Betts of Jamestown, and Peyton Betts at home in Fluvanna. He is also survived by his grandchildren Tobin G. Hagstrom, who was Papa Mo's little man, Hudson Dawson and Twin Granddaughters Sydney and Hayden Dawson. He is also survived by two half sisters, Tammy and Kristina Marks. His extended family of friends is too numerous to include. He was preceded in death in 1991 by his father Forest D. Marks , his maternal grandparents, Evelyn and Clair E. "Gene" Wilson, paternal grandparents Forest B. "Babe" Marks and Reta Smith Marks. He was also preceded in death by his uncle Richard E. "Rich" Wilson. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Falconer Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Pastor Jennifer Delahoy of Kennedy United Methodist Church will officiate. Morgan will be laid to rest eternally in the arms of our Lord in Pine Hill Cemetery in Falconer, Memorials may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Rd., Jamestown, NY or to the Roger Tory Peterson Institute, 311 Curtis St., Jamestown, NY 14701.

Mary Anna Adams
Mary Anna Adams, 79, formerly of 10 Elmeere Ave., Falconer died at 3:25 a.m. Tuesday (November 13, 2007) in Heritage Green Rehab & Skilled Nursing Center.
She was the widow of Harold J. Adams whom she married June 27, 1952 in Frewsburg, who died January 14, 2007.
A life long area resident she was born August 14, 1928 in Jamestown the daughter of the late Herbert Blair and Doris Donelson Gerhardt.
Mrs. Adams was a graduate of Frewsburg High School, Warren Conservatory of Music and Houghton College earning a Bachelor of Music Degree.
In earlier years she had been an assistant professor of music at Bethel College in Mishawaka, Indiana, and in later years had served as church organist and private piano teacher for over 40 years. She also was pianist for Ensemble Musica and performed several times in Warren Festival of Arts.
Mrs. Adams served on the Falconer Public Library board, was a member of the Alpha Circle at First Presbyterian Church and life member of the Mozart Club.
She enjoyed listening to classical music, reading, needlepoint and counted cross stitch.
She is survived by two daughters Paula Stearns of W.E. Jamestown and Nancy Mason of Naples, Florida, two grandchildren William Groom of Jamestown and Robyn Mason of Naples.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Donald E. Ray of First Presbyterian Church and Rob Mason her son-in-law will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received by the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home and one hour prior to the funeral service Sunday.
Memorials may be made to the Falconer Public Library Fund at Chautauqua Region Community Foundation, 418 Spring St., Jamestown, NY 14701.

Josephine Marchiando
Josephine Marchiando, 103, formerly of Falconer died at 6:45 p.m. Saturday (November 17, 2007) in the Lutheran Home and Rehabilitation Center.
She was the widow of Thomas Marchiando whom she married June 29, 1935 in Falconer, who died December 17, 1988.
A life long area resident, she was born September 14, 1904 in Silver Creek and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marian Scholeno Ricotta.
Prior to retirement in 1960, she was employed for 40 years at National Worsted Mills as an inspector.
She was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church, the Altar & Rosary Society, and was a former member of the Marco Polo Club and I.A.B. Club Auxiliary.
She is survived by her daughter Josephine McKeever of St. Cloud, FL., three grandchildren; Shawn Thomas McKeever of Alpharetta, GA., Julie Adams and Kimberly Bracy both of St. Cloud, FL., five great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by five brothers Carl, Anthony, Samuel, Thomas, and Joseph Ricotta, and three sisters Angeline Gagliano, Carmella Calcesi, and Mary Colera.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church. Rev. Joseph A. Gullo pastor of Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church and St. Johns Catholic Church will be celebrant. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Friends will be received by the family from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Falconer Funeral Home. The Altar and Rosary Society of OLL will conduct a rosary service at 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Christian Wake service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
