Beloved wife of Philip Pezzino; dear mother of Charles (Sandra), Pasquale (Ester Mae) Pezzino; grandmother of Charles P., Stephen, Kevin (Sandra) and Stefanie Pezzino; sister of Florence Julian, Josephine (Ed) Bova and the late Theresa Pezzino, Mary Provino, Mildred Schaefer, Tony and Victor Anastasia. The family will be present to receive friends Saturday & Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME Inc. 5200 Sheridan Dr. (corner of Hopkins Rd.). Funeral services will be held Monday from the Creedside Assembly of God Church 2625 Tonawanda Creek Rd. Amherst, NY at 10 AM. Flowers gratfully declined. If desired contributions may be made in Mrs. Pezzino's memory to Creekside Assembly of God Church.

Lewis James Sawicki, 54, of Buffalo, New York died peacefully Sunday July 30, 2006 in his Buffalo home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Niagara Falls, New York on January 15, 1952 to Lewis and Phyllis (Caggiano) Sawicki. A native of Niagara Falls he was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School class of 1969, Butera Commercial School of Art in Boston, MA in 1971, the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1975 and attended University of Buffalo Law School .On May 16, 1992 He married the former Connie Brignole in the Church of St. Joseph in New York City.
Lew was a skilled artisan. Over the years he worked as a sign painter with his uncle Bob Caggiano at Pine Sign Co. in Niagara Falls. He was also self employed painter and contractor with his father Lew Sawicki at the Parkway Condominiums on Buffalo Avenue. He was the founder and owner of Sawicki Home Improvement Co. and an accomplished stained-glass craftsman..
Mr. Sawicki was a devoted member of Narcotics Anonymous and his home group the Mustard Seed. An active volunteer he volunteered for the University of Buffalo Center for the Arts, and the Better Business Bureau Community Dispute Resolution Center.
He was an avid skier, baseball fan and softball player and a member of the Buffalo Rotisserie League. Lew also enjoyed music, and traveling with his loving wife Connie. His kind, generous, accepting, inspiring and nurturing spirit will live on in all his family, friends and everyone he touched.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Connie (Brignole) Sawicki of Buffalo, NY. his father Lewis Sawicki of Niagara Falls, two sisters; Deborah A. Cutler of Niagara Falls, Donna J. (James P.) Morgan, of Brooklyn, NY., two sisters-in-law; Katherine (Larry) Lustgarten of New York City, Rosemary (Tom) Muscarella of Garden City, LI., three nieces, Kim M. Nalbone of Wilson, NY., Goddaughter Tina M. (William) Schiavitti of Ransomville, NY., Fara Muscarella of LI., one nephew Jonathan Muscarella also of LI. Great nieces and nephews; Amanda and Zackery Nalbone , Billy Schiavitti, Godsons; Mikey Schiavitti and Eliot Reid. nine aunts and uncles; Millie (late Robert) Caggiano, Barbara (Kazmir) Sawicki, all of Niagara Falls, Clara (late Carmen) Caggiano, of North Tonawanda, NY., Stanley Sawicki of Nashville, TN., Edward Sawicki of Las Vegas, NV. Anita DiCara of Jackson Heights, NY., Anthony (Mary) DiCara of LI., Jean (late Leo) DiCara of Chicago, IL., and many cousins. Mr. Sawicki was predeceased by his mother the late Phyllis (Caggiano) Sawicki, and his sister the late Donna Marie Sawicki.
The family will be present to receive friends Wednesday & Thursday from 3-8 PM at the SPALLINO-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Service 1300 Pine Avenue Niagara Falls, NY. where prayers will be said Friday morning August 4, 2006 at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Joseph Church 1413 Pine Ave. Niagara Falls, NY. at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private. Friends invited. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 4976 Transit Rd. Depew, NY. 14043, MS Society of WNY. 4245 Union Rd. Helen Hoffman (nee Remus)
Helen Hoffman (nee Remus), passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2010.
Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Barnabas Church.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Helen was a 70 year member of the SS Peter & Paul Rosary Society. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Buffalo Inc. or Maplewood Volunteers in Partnership, Cheektowaga.
Beloved wife of the late John A.; dear mother of Daniel (Barbara) Hoffman, Joan (Donald) Glinski and the late John D. (Patricia) Hoffman; loving grandmother of seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sister of the late Edward Remus.

Richard L. "Dick" Braun
(December 31, 1931 - July 1, 2009)
Of Newfane, NY entered into rest suddenly, Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at home. He was born in Middleport, NY the son of the late Leo and Myrtle Robison Braun. A veteran of US Marines. Enjoyed racing and watching NASCAR. Dick worked for Apex Masonry in Amherst, NY for many years. He also enjoyed working on autos and constructions. Father of David (Louanne) Braun of Newfane, Douglas (Nancy) Braun of Burt, Darlene (Wayne) Gow of Newfane, Donald (Judith) Braun of Newfane, Donna (Frederick) Kittle of Lockport and the late Duane Braun. Stepfather of Kimberly (Robert) Lee of Jacksonville, FL, Steve Plump of Newfane and the late Brian Plump. Brother of Deanna Braun of Kenmore, NY and Barbara (Sherman) Wallace of Gasport, NY. Also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. No prior visitation. Private memorial will be held at the convenience of the family. Of Newfane, NY wife of Ronald K. Mael entered into rest Wednesday, June 24, 2009 in Odd Fellow and Rebekah Health Care Facility. Daughter of the late Thomas and Alice Stanton Barton, she was born in Buffalo, NY November 24, 1925. Donna enjoyed her grandchildren, member of ICMH women’s auxiliary, enjoyed bowling in many leagues, bingo and going to the casino. Member of Newfane and Wilson Golden Agers. Mother of Thomas (Lorelei) Mael of New Market, MD, Susan (Vince) Mael-Kunderman of St. Louis, MO, Patricia (Glynn) Jerla of Lockport, NY and Stacey (Mark) Lechevet of Colden, NY. Grandmother of Denise (Ryan) Morrison, Ian and Jack Lechevet, Brandon Jerla and the late Josh Jerla. Sister of the late Edward Daverne. No prior visitation. A Memorial Service will be held in RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY SATURDAY, June 27, 2009 at 11:00AM. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kenmore, NY at the convenience of the family. Memorials to Eastern Niagara Hospital Newfane Site would be appreciated by the family.

June 25, 2009; beloved wife of the late James Tronolone; dearest mother of Janis (Paul) Rubino, Michael (Josie) Tronolone, James (Jennifer) Tronolone, Mary Ann (Michael) Naples and Angela Battaglia; devoted grandmother of 10 grandchildren; sister of the late Mamie Bongiovanni, Anthony and Carl Gentile, and Angela Oddo; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
