Survived by brothers, Herbert (Lois) Fox of Wilmington, North Carolina, Robert Fox of Webster; sisters Lorraine Kirkingburg of Albemarle, North Carolina, Billie (Donald) Estey of Rochester, Beverly (Karl) Jacobs of Maryville, Tennessee; and brother, William (Dorothy) Fox of Dexter, New York; several nieces and nephews; loving and blessed friend, Chris McCabe and the Sisters of Mercy. Preceded in death by father and mother William and Violet Fox, and sisters, Violet Darling and Jeanneta Fox..
Ives, Erika J., Went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 5, 2001. Predeceased by her husband, Donald Ives. Survived by her sister, Lisa Rueckert; brothers, Heinz (Eva) Schroeder and Ernst (Renate) Schroeder; 5 nieces, 5 nephews; her brother-in-law, Robert (Marie) Ives; sister-in-law, Bette (Angus) Hopkins. She will be missed by many loving friends, neighbors and family.
Muszak, John J., April 5, 2001 at age 85. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Stella "Joan" Muszak; his children, Janice (Joseph) Scoppa of Spencerport, Martin (Kay) Muszak of Irondequoit and James (Kim) Muszak of Spencerport; five grandchildren; one great granddaughter; five sisters, Kay Lissow, Virginia and Dorothy Muszak, Bernice Marianetti and Florence (Ralph) Andrade; several nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company.
Merritt, Ryan P., Suddenly, April 20, 2001 at age 17. He is survived by his parents, Chuck and Sue Merritt; sister, Lindsay Merritt; maternal grandparents, John and Janet Butler; paternal grandparents, Fred and Sue Merritt; great-grandmother, Frances Shannon; god-parents, Anne Siegl and Patrick Merritt; many aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends.
Jenks, Clifford A., age 89, a die cast operator at Rochester Products prior to his retirement in 1974, died Monday, April 23, 2001 at Kirkhaven Nursing Home in Rochester.
West, Mildred I. "Millie," April 17, 2001 at age 90. Predeceased by her husband, Frank; sons, Francis, Frank and Edward; daughter, Shirley Howell. She is survived by her children, Robert (Connie) West. Dorothy Kuhn, Helen Runion, Carol Wolf; daughters-in-law, Lois West, Diane West, Caralee West; many grandchildren; great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; one sister-in-law, many nieces and nephews.
Mooney, Michael Lawrence, (Larry), 53, on April 23, 2001 at Lakeside Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness. Mr. Mooney was born in 1948 to the late Michael A. and Violet (Robinette) Mooney. He was a graduate of Holley Central School, class of 1967.
Rhodes, Bessie Ruth, March 6, 2001 at age 85 at Lakeside Beikirch Care Center. Predeceased by her brother, Ralph E. Rhodes, Jr. of Ohio and nephew, Thomas Tessina. Survived by her sisters, Edna Tessina of Webster, Vivian (Charles) Roman; sister-in-law, Marilyn Rhodes of Ohio; nieces and nephews. She was a dental hygienist for 46 years with Dr. George Bott and Dr. Harold Craw in Brockport.
Freeman, Bessie M. (Dermody), April 19, 2001 at age 87. She was predeceased by her husband, John L. Freeman Jr. She is survived by her son, John M. (Trisha) Freeman of Rochester; four daughters, Teresa (John) McFee of Colorado, Janis (Marty) Siegel of Maryland, Susan Freeman of Latham and Lisa (Tom Skeen) Freeman of Churchville; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Riley, Charles J., April 20, 2001. He was predeceased April 4, 2001 by his wife of 51 years, Berneda (Wood) Riley. He is survived by two daughters, Susan (Daryl) Prevost of North Chili and Berneda Tascione and Michael Dunphrey of Rochester; two grandsons; sister-in-law, Peg Nesbitt. He was an Army veteran of WWII as a member of the 475th Infantry "Merrill's Marauders;" past commander of Harvey C. Noone American Legion Post #954; a member of Churchville Lodge #667 F.&A.M. and was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company.
