Hoy, Mary M., age 94 of Albuquerque, New Mexico, formerly of Clarkson, died October 3, 2005. Predeceased by her husband, Myron Hoy, June 1981. Mary is survived by her children: Bruce Hoy and wife, Shirley, Jacque Hoy and wife Delphine, Ann Shukis and husband, Jerome, Milton Hoy and wife, Phyllis, Andrea Mannes and husband, John, Michael Hoy and wife, Deborah; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
Kierecki, John R., October 24, 2005, age 75. Survived by his beloved wife, Sarah; children, John (Sandra Fischer) Kierecki, Sue (Ken) Poulton; grandchildren, Jared and Janel Kierecki, Jennifer (Cory) Poulton-Flagg; great-grandchildren, Jaxin and Cera Flagg; nieces and nephews. John was a Korean War Veteran, graduate of Aquinas Institute and a retire of Kodak after 38 years of service.
Varlan, Peter P., October 25, 2005. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan; sons, Peter D. (Kitty) and Christopher T. (Stephanie) Varlan; sisters, Dina Nicholas, Mary (James) Spencer of Atlanta, Georgia, and Spacia Patterson; five grandchildren, Katie, Abigail, Evelyn, Hannah and Mandie Varlan; one niece; two nephews; and three step-sons. He was a veteran of WWII, and a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company.
Gifaldi, Francis J. "Frank," age 78 died suddenly, October 22, 2005. Frank served in the US Army, during WWII and was a member of the V.F.W. Post #202. He retired from Eastman Kodak after 37 years and was an avid gardener. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marion (Jablonski); five children, Frank (Kathleen) Stephen (Kim), Richard (Roxane), Laurie (Terry) Baker, Sue Gifaldi; grandchildren, Richard (Maggie), Mary, Christopher, Michael, Elizabeth, Shannon, Steven, Francis; great-grandsons, Josiah, Elee; brothers, Angelo (Rose), Carl (Eve); sisters, Teresa Carselli, Lucille Tubiolo; brothers-in-law, Arthur (Helen) Jablonski, Edward Jablonski; sisters-in-law, Isabelle Marcinowski, Eleanor Albanese, Angla Jablonski; and several nieces, nephews, cousins. Predeceased by his brother James.
Reamer, Caroline L., Age 84, October 22, 2005. Survived by two daughters, Louise Harty, Joanne (Charlie) Welch; two brothers, Guy (Dorothy) Dusett, Charles (Ada) Dusett; sister Olive Allport; four grandchildren, Deborah (David) Seprish, Jack Welch, Beth Schmidt, Mark Welch; five great-grandchildren, Nastasha, Matthew, Hayley, Nicole, Joshua; 2 great-great-grandchildren, Damien, D'Moni; several nieces and nephews.
Maxwell, Velma I., October 22, 2005. Widow of William H. Maxwell. She is survived by her sister, Doris Avel; many nieces and nephews.
Gravelle, Thelma S. "Jane" (Schott), October 20, 2005 at age 74. She was predeceased by her husband Norbert G. Gravelle. She is survived by her sons Ralph (Pamela) Gravelle of Mexico, New York and Norbert (Jamie) Gravelle of Ashland, Massachusetts; her daughters Maggie (Bob) Brickell of Toronto and Roberta Gravelle of Greece; her grandchildren Brian, Sean and Kyle Gravelle, Spencer Gravelle, Richard and Dakota Brickell, Hailey and Dylan Gravelle; her sisters Mary Wilson and Carol (Paul) Catalano; nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Hilton Book Club.
Smith, Leona R., October 24, 2005 at age 100 in York, Maine. She was predeceased by her husband Chester D. Smith in 1967. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jeannette and William Driver of Eliot, Maine; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
McClelland Rev. Neil Allan, age 58, a pastor, died March 9, 2006. Neil was born August 6, 1947, in Rochester to Allan and Marion McClelland. Neil graduated from Brockport College with a degree in economics and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary with a master's of divinity degree. Neil served congregations in Conesus, NY, New Middletown, Ohio, Bridgeport, Michigan, Longview and Houston, Texas, Metairie, Louisiana, Binghamton and Arcade, New York and served as a national park chaplain in Yosemite, California. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Linda McClelland of Grand Prairie, Texas; sons, the Rev. Robert J. McClelland (Stacy) of Harrisonburg, Virginia, Scott A. McClelland of Austin, Texas and David S. McClelland of Grand Prairie, Texas; granddaughters, Cameron McClelland and Taylor McClelland of Harrisonburg, Virginia; several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Passarell, Kenneth P., March 11, 2006, at age 69. He is survived by his daughters, Margo Passarell, Louise (Mike) Zona, Cynthia (Keith) Oliver, all of Holley; sons, Robert Passarell of Rochester, Jeffery (Nancy) Passarell of Avon; sister, Irene Parmalee; brother, Neil (Pat) Passarell; 12 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
