ROSEANNE REIMANN (nee Cavanagh) of Tempe, Arizona, formerly of Ridgewood, died on January 16, 2003 at the age of 68. She and her late husband Jimmy were the owners of Jay Kay Candy Company on Cypress Avenue in Ridgewood for many years. She was the devoted mother of Joann, Matthew and Denise, dear sister and sister-in-law of Helen and Alex Guilmin, dear grandmother of Jaymie, Craig and Rose, fond aunt of Kathy and Jeanne. WALTER J. STEINMETZ of Glendale died on April 5, 2003 at the age of 68. A native of Ridgewood, he was the beloved husband of Inge (nee Sternecker), devoted father of Walter J. Jr., Leonard M., and Thomas C. Steinmetz; also survived by two grandchildren. He was a retired FDNY firefighter. MARINE CPL. ROBERT MARCUS RODRIGUEZ died on March 27, 2003 at the age of 21. A resident of Maspeth, he gave his life serving his country in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was the loving son of Clemente and Amarilys Hernandez, dear brother of Hector, Hyda, Glenda and Moura; also survived by 17 nieces and nephews. Proud to serve his country, Cpl. Rodriguez joined the Marines at age 17 and was assigned to the 1st Tank Battalion of the 1st Marine Division. JOSEFINE RENN (nee Feisthammel), age 81, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2003 at her home. She was born and raised in Romania and lived in Ridgewood for 35 years before moving to Milford, Pennsylvania in 1990. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Saint Vincent DePaul R.C. Church in Dingman Hills, Pennsylvania. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Michael, who died on May 24, 2002. Survivors include her two loving daughters: Anne Guimond of Parsippany and Josephine Schultz of Milford; her dear stepdaughter Margarete Bonkiewicz of Endwell, New York; and her eight cherished grandchildren and four cherished great-grandchildren.
