Doris M. Andrich
Doris M. Andrich, 85, Middlefield, formerly of Galena and Altoona, Florida, died Sunday morning (June 16, 2002) at Briar Hill Health Care Center in Middlefield. She is dearly missed by her family and friends, even as she has gone to be with her Lord.
Andrich was born in Titusville, Pennsylvania, on May 11, 1917, to the late Ralph and Nellie (Apps) Dillinger. She was a homemaker and member of Rural Chapel United Methodist Church, Galena.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Donald and Roxanne Andrich of Toledo and William and Emma Andrich of Delaware; daughters and sons-in-law Jane and Jesse Smith of Galena, Virginia and William Norman of Middlefield, and Maxine and Leroy Dixon of Altoona, Florida; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; a brother, Clarence (Margaret) Dillinger of St. Petersburg, Florida; a sister, Florence Galczynski Eustis of Florida; and by several nieces and nephews.
Andrich was preceded in death by her husband, George Andrich, who passed away November 2, 1982. They were married November 6, 1935. She was also preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.
Visitation was at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury, where services were held with Pastor Russell Hamm officiating. Interment followed in the Cheshire Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rural Chapel United Methodist Church, 5860 Cheshire Road, Galena, Ohio 43021.

Stanley J. Andruzis
Stanley John "Andy" Andruzis, 45, Galena, died Monday (Jan. 17, 2000) at Grady Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
He was born Oct. 21, 1954, in Pittston, W.Va., to Stanley A. and Eleanor Romanoski Andruzis. His mother survives in Cross Lanes, W.Va.
He was a 1972 graduate of Nitro High School, Nitro, W.Va. He loved to be out in the fresh air and enjoyed snow skiing and other outdoor activities. He was a member of the Sunbury Eagles lodge and operated his own concrete business.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; two sons, Andrew and John, both of Galena; one daughter, Jacque, Galena; three sisters, Linda Hutton, Winfield, W.Va., and Joyce Andruzis-Lee and Karen Andruzis, Cross Lanes, W.Va.; and two close friends, Molly and Sally.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, David.
A memorial service was held at St. John Neumann Catholic Church with the Rev. David E. Gwinner presiding. Bennett Brown Rodman Funeral Home, Delaware, assisted the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Andruzis College Fund in care of any family member.

Alvin Ankrom
Alvin Y. "Al" Ankrom Sr., 80, formerly of Columbus, died Friday (July 16, 1999) at Windsong Village in Worthington.
He was born June 8, 1919, in Columbus, to the late Lee Zemroy and Myrtle (Montgomery) Ankrom.
He was an electrician with the former Pence Electric Co. of Columbus and a WWII U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Darlene and James Hale, Sunbury, and Geraldine Ankrom; one son, Alvin Y. Ankrom Jr.; one brother, Wayne Ankrom, Pennsboro, W.Va.; five sisters, Mona Jordan and Ethel Deyo, both of Mount Gilead, Helen Haynam, Westerville, Imogene Sesler, Columbus, and Grace Dymek, Millersport; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, John, Fred, Leeroy, George and Earl; and two sisters, Geraldine Smith and an infant.
Visitation was at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury where funeral services were also held. Graveside committal services were Monday at Glen Rest Cemetery.

Kenny Ashbrook
Kenny Ashbrook, 60, Johnstown, died Sunday (August 19, 2001) at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville. Funeral services were held Thursday (August 23, 2001) at Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home in Johnstown with Pastor Mike Dexter and Pastor Ross Hartley officiating. Burial was in Green Hill Cemetery, Johnstown.
Mr. Ashbrook was born January 1, 1941 in Johnstown to the late Otis and Mary Walker Ashbrook. He retired after 28 years from Kroger, Inc. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge, Sunbury.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Carol Ashbrook of Johnstown; two sons, Ken A. Ashbrook of Newark and Kevin A. (Heather) Ashbrook of Johnstown; two brothers, Clarence Ashbrook of Sunbury and Wayne (Emma Jean) Ashbrook of Johnstown; and four grandchildren, Blake, Nathanael, Aubrey and Joshua Ashbrook.
Ashbrook was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Ashbrook.
Visitation was at Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Johnstown Youth Athletic Association, P.O. Box 433, Johnstown, Ohio 43031.

Minnie Ashbrook
Minnie Ashbook, 84, of Delaware, and formerly of Johnstown, died Sunday (Feb. 22, 1998) at Delaware County Health Care. Graveside services were at Green Hill Cemetery, Johnstown, with the Rev. Thomas Lasley officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Brandon Baptist Church, RFD 4, Brandon, OH 43050. Arrangements were in care of Crouse-Kauber Funeral Home, Johnstown.

Edwin Augspurger
Edwin Arthur Augspurger, 91, Delaware, passed away on Nov. 19, 1999.
He was a retired dairy farmer. He was a graduate of Hamilton High School and the Ohio State University College of Agriculture. He was a member of the National, State of Ohio and Regional Ayrshire Breeders Association.
He is survived by his wife Marcia (Ramey) Augspurger; sons Roland and Richard; daughter Marilyn Hale; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.
Calling hours were held at Bennett Brown Funeral Home, Delaware. Funeral services were held at Grace United Methodist Church, Delaware.
Contributions may be made to the Central Ohio Parkinsons Society, 3166 Redding Road, Columbus, 43221, or to Grace UMC.

Paul D. Azbell
Paul D. Azbell, 65, Centerburg and formerly of Delaware, died Sunday (Feb. 21, 1999) at Veterans Hospital, Chillicothe.
He was born Nov. 30, 1933, in Columbus to the late Russell H. Azbell and Sylvia M. (Hilyard) Azbell, who survives in Delaware. A U.S. Army veteran, he has lived between Delaware and Mount Liberty/Centerburg for the past 20 years. He was the retired owner of the former Union 76 service station and body shop in Centerburg, a member of the Centerburg Lions Club and an avid sports fan and antique collector.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by four daughters and a son-in-law, Karen Jo Picklesimer, Danville, Cathy Azbell, Hilliard, and Jackie McCoy and Brenda and David Williams, all of Columbus; two sons, David Azbell, Daytona, Fla., and Paul Dean Azbell Jr., Danville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles Lee and Lamelua Azbell, Amarillo, Texas, and James R. and Phyllis Azbell, Delaware; one sister and brother-in-law, Helen Jean and William Alexander, Peoria, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren
Graveside funeral services were held at the Fairview Cemetery near Rockbridge. Arrangements were handled by DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Delaware.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Donald Bailey
Donald M. Bailey, 69, of Galena, died Wednesday (April 17, 2002) at St. Ann's Hospital.
He retired from West-Camp Press and was a member of Church of the Saviour United Methodist.
Surviving are his wife, Rhea; his children, Donna Warner of Delaware, Warren and Jean Bailey of Pataskala, Malynda Bailey of Delaware; Kevin Bailey of Hilliard, and Jennifer Bailey of Galena; a son-in-law, David Warner; a daughter-in-law, Laura Bailey; a granddaughter, Jennette Warner; a grandson, Ian Michael Bailey; a great-granddaughter, Lauri Johnson; sisters and brother-in-law, Virginia and Bill Kirk and Nelda Green; brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard and Mabel Bailey, Charles and Viola Bailey, Vern and Garnet Bailey, Clark and Betty Bailey, Harold and Theresa Bailey, and Harry and June Bailey Jr.; brothers-in-law, Ted Rugg, Reed and Nioma, John and Norma, and Randy Bowmar; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held at Moreland Funeral Home, Westerville, on Friday where services were held with Pastor William Hunt officiating. Interment was in Fairview Memorial Park.

Henry R. Bailey
Henry R. Bailey, 79, Sunbury, died early Wednesday (Dec. 9, 1998) at Grady Memorial Hospital, Delaware.
He was born Sept. 23, 1919, in Reedsville, Ohio, to the late Nathan H. and Ella (Holsinger) Bailey. He moved to Sunbury 39 years ago from Columbus. He was a World War II United States Army veteran. He retired in 1980 from General Motors, Columbus, where he worked in the chrome plate department. Bailey enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Beatrice L. (Boring) Bailey. One daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Bernie Cheadle, Sunbury; one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Judy Bailey, Mt. Vernon; six grandchildren, Michelle Woodruff, Molly and Joshua Cheadle, Gidget Dietzel and Denver and Jessica Bailey; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at the funeral home. The Rev. Rolland Edwards officiated. Burial was in Sunbury Memorial Park with military honors provided by the Delaware County Veterans Association.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Delaware County Chapter Central Ohio Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 81, Delaware, Ohio 43015.

Kevin Bailey
Kevin W. Bailey, 29, Hilliard, died Monday (May 13, 2002) at home.
A store manager for ComStation at West Pointe Plaza, Hilliard, he was formerly employed by Best Buy at Tuttle Crossing. He was a member of the Big Walnut High School Class of 1991.
Surviving are his wife, Laura M. (Funk) Bailey; a son, Ian; his mother, Rhea F. Bailey of Galena; sisters and brothers, Donna Warner, Warren and Laura Jean Bailey, Melinda Bailey, and Jennifer Bailey; his mother and father-in-law and spouses, Kathryn and John Humbert and Michael and Teresa Funk; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Karen Funk; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald M. Bailey.
Visitation was held at Moreland Funeral Home, Westerville. A private interment was held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kevin's memory to OSU Psychiatry Support Fund 303004, OSU Medical Center Development, 1375 Perry Street, 5th Floor, Columbus, Ohio 43021.
