(tonight) 7-9 p.m. and one hour before going to church for Mass on Wednesday 8:45-9:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wishes Can Happen.

Carl D. Gribble
Carl D. Gribble, age 88, of River Isles, Bradenton, FL, passed away Saturday morning in the Manatee Hospital in Bradenton, FL, following an extended illness. Born in Fresno, OH on May 24, 1913, he had lived the greater portion of her life in the Canton area. He was a former employee for the Detroit-Pittsburgh Motor Freight Co. and for 17 years was employed by the Weaver Truck Sales in Dover, OH. He was a retired employee of Young Truck Sales in Canton, retiring in 1979 after 13 years of service. He was a member of the Dueber United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Florence G. Gribble of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Bonnie Gribble of Clinton, NC and William and Nancy Gribble of Jonesboro, AR; three stepdaughters and their spouses, Cynthia and Earl Feller of Dover, OH, Miriam and Edwin Kienzle of Canton, Marna and Larry Essig of Waynesburg, OH; two stepsons, Elden Deibel and wife, Alice of Zoar, OH, Verle Deibel of New Philadelphia; one brother, Paul Gribble of Navarre; sister, Dorothy Beals of Dover, OH; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Dr. Chester Harris officiating. Burial in North Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 6-9 p.m.

Cecilia A. Stantz
Cecilia A. Stantz, age 82, of Canton, died Sunday, December 30, 2001 at St. Joseph Care Center in Louisville. She was born November 24, 1919, in Winburne, PA, to the late John and Bertha (Kellner) Wasnak. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Canton, Women of the Moose Lodge #332 and was retired from Sears Roerbuck Department Store where she was a sales clerk for 15 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold J. Stantz in 1991; one sister, Lillian Whitmyer; two brothers, Richard and Alvin Wasnak. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Linda (Daniel) Patterson of Summerfield, FL; three grandchildren, Christina Miller, Cheryl Riemenschneider, Shaun Olmstead. Private funeral services will be held at the Welch-Sekeres-Lewis Funeral Home with her pastor, Kenneth D. Scheck officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Memorials may be made in her memory to Zion Lutheran Church in Canton.

Denver G. Law. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2002 at 11 a.m. in Community Christian Church, 111 Witwer St. NE, North Canton, with Rev. Dr. Donald G. Baird officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Tuesday (tonight) 7-9 p.m. in the Karlo Sons Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Christian Church.

Dorla J. Karcher
Dorla J. Karcher, age 72, of Canton, OH., passed away Saturday in the Mercy Medical Center following an extended illness. Born in Pine Grove, WV., on August 26, 1929 she had lived the greater portion of her life in the Canton area. She was a former General Manager for Roadway in Nashville and also had worked at the Ramada Inn in Nashville, Superior Dairy in Canton, and Ramada Inn in Akron, OH. She was an Honorary Kentucky Colonel and was a member of the Canton Christian Fellowship, VFW Auxiliary and North Canton Eagles Lodge. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, John E. Karcher of the home; two daughters and son-in-law, Deborah Pesko of Massillon, Krystal and Edwin Ranowsky of Magnolia; and her son, E. John Karcher of Canton; four grandchildren, Sean Karcher, Desiree' Pesko, Autumn and Austin Karcher; and two great grandchildren, Aaron and Shannon Karcher; two sisters, Karen Sue Mayle of Canton and Mildred Swigart of Florida; three brothers, Scott, Keith and Terry Shuman all of Louisville. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Turner officiating. Burial will be in Warstler Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home on Thursday evening 7-9 p.m.

Dorothy M. Glover
Dorothy M. Glover, age 98, formerly of Steubenville Road, Carrollton, OH., died Sunday, December 30, 2001 in the Carroll Health Care Center following a short illness. Survivors includes one son, Francis Neal Glover of Canton, OH. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Allmon-Dugger Hively Funeral Home in Carrollton with Reverends James and Jennifer Ray officiating. Burial will be in Fort Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville, OH. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home one hour (10-11 a.m.) before time of service on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Riley's United Methodist Church, 47E. Main Street, Salineville, OH, 42945.

Edna Fay (Ady) Ault
Edna Fay (Ady) Ault, age 89, of Navarre, died Sunday, December 30, 2001, in Mercy Medical Center following a brief illness. Born January 23, 1912 in Cameron, OH, to the late Alonzo and Alice Mobley. She was a member of the Massillon Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her first husband Oscar Ault on December 30, 1960, her second husband, Floyd Ault in 1992, one daughter, Mildred Ady, one son, Donald Ady, one brother, Alvie Mobley, one sister, Lottie Mobley Riley, one granddaughter, Dawn Ady and one great-granddaughter, Christina Harless. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Juanita and Walter Speicher, Irvin and Darlene Ady, Betty and Bill Melnick, Lester and Mary Ady, Shirley Ady, Fred and Margaret Ady, Brenda and Bill Jacobs, Robert and Gale Ady, her brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Anna Mobley, and life long friend, Bill Sanders; 28 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; and 35 great-great-grandchildren. She is dearly loved by all. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Lance Lindenberger officiating. Burial will be in East Unionlawn Cemetery, Navarre. Calling hours in the funeral home Wednesday 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with final expenses.

George L. Mulig
George L. Mulig, age 83, of Canton, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away Friday, December 28, 2001, in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. George was born October 25, 1918, in Alliance to the late Louis and Frances (Bogavich) Mulig. He was a proud veteran having served as a pilot in the Army Air Corps during World War II. George was a former glazer for the Glenn Gary Corporation, retiring in 1981 following 41 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion Post #548, the VFW Post #3747 and the FOE McKinley Aerie #2370. George leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Margaret (Reed) whom he married August 30, 1947; a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and David Pustay of Canton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Carol Osborn of Massillon and George Skip and Debbie Mulig of Hartville; a sister, Lois Gladyz of Sharon, PA; a brother, Frank Mulig of Canton; ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and two very close friends, Carl and Irene Johnson. George is preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred Harper, Barbara Bayda and Mary Ranalli and three brothers, Ed Schuster, William Mulig and John Mulig. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville with Pastor Herb Games III of St. Jacobs Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.

Harold Frank Johns
Harold Frank Johns. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home. Burial will be in the East Union Cemetery in Navarre. Calling hours at the Reed Funeral Home on Tuesday (today) 4-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Aultman Hospice Program. The family wishes to thank the Aultman Hospice for their loving care and especially those who were his caregivers.

Johanna J. Roman
Johanna J. Roman, age 82, beloved mother went home to be with the lord and her devoted husband, Sunday evening after a sudden illness. Mrs. Roman was born in Natrona, PA, and had lived in Canton most of her life. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. She was a volunteer at Aultman Hospital for the last 28 years. She was a Seamstrees. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Angela Powdoski and her husband, Nick on Aug. 25, 1983; and one brother. She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Nick Roman of columbus, OH and Dan and Shelley Roman of Canton; one daughter, Kathy Roman of Canton; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Angela Sucheck of Canton. A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday morning at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Monsignor John Finnigan as celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday evening 7-9 p.m. at the Rossi Funeral Home. A Wake Service at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday evening in the fuenral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Peter's Building Fund.

Lisa Jean Rodriques
Lisa Jean (Milini) Rodriques, age 38, of Canton, passed away at her home Saturday, December 29, 2001. Born in Canton on August 3, 1963, she was a 1981 graduate of Timken High School. She was a member of Canton Moose Lodge #233 and VFW Post #3747. She was a former employee of North Canton YMCA and also had a long-term career health care services. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Mildred Milini, Earl and Julia Higgins; and great-niece, Ronnie Milini. Survived by her husband, Daniel; children, Rick Edgell, Daniel Rodriques, Jr., Stephanie Rodriques; beloved granddaughter, Kaitlyn Rodriques, of whom she was very proud; parents, Tony and Zelda Milini of Canton; brother, Tony, Jr. and (Carol) Milini, Terry and (Jeanne) Milini, Dino Milini, all of Canton; sister, Cathy, Janet, and Anzel Milini, LeeAnn McLaughlin, all of Canton; brothers-in-law, John and (Phylis), Michael and (Pam), Joseph and (Tina) and Richard Rodriques, all of Canton, Juan of Boston, MA; sister-in-law, Tina Rodriques-Anderson of Canton; several aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews; great-nieces, and great-nephews. Lisa showed a courageous battle enduring pain throughout her lifetime, living life to its fullest. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in St. Paul's Catholic Church of Canton with Rev. Fr. Nicholas Mancini as celebrant. Burial in Sunset Hills. Friends may call Wednesday 7-9 p.m. in the Earl B. Jack Funeral and one hour prior to services.

Naomi Fay Diuk
Naomi Fay Diuk. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home on Wednesday 7-9 p.m.

S. Arleine Linerode
S. Arleine Linerode, age 84 passed away Sunday at AlterCare of Navarre. Arleine was born March 1, 1917 in Massillon to the late George W. Louisa (Williams) Appleby. She was raised in Massillon, graduated from Brewster High School in 1935 and spent much of her married life in Navarre. She maintained her membership at St. Paul's United Church in Navarre. Arleine was a homemaker and devoted all of her time to her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Linerode Sr. in 1977 and a daughter, Alfrieda Butcher in August 2001. She is survived by daughters, Mrs. Don (Arleine) Specht of Dalton, Mrs. Edwin (Louisa) Tusing Sr. of Navarre, Mrs. Daniel (Donna) Fahrni of Hiram, OH, Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Ley of Shreve; son, Donald F. Linerode Jr. of Navarre; 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Services are planned for Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Burial will be at Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre. Friends may call at the funeral home in Massillon 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour before the services on Thursday.

Shehab M. Asper
Shehab M. Asper, age 77 of Canton, passed away Sunday afternoon in Aultman Hospital of sudden illness. He was born in Btar, Syria and had lived in Canton since 1947. He was a member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, former Trustee on the board of St. George Church, Pohenician Society, Scottish Rite, Tamor Shrine of Akron and the Masonic Temple Latrop Lodge of Canton. He was retired from Republic Steel as a General Supervisor for 35 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Michael and Selma and one sister, Carol Hill. He is survived by his wife, Manira (Georges) Asper with whom he was married for 62 years; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Mary Asper of Canton; three daughters and sons-in-law, Mila and Joseph Durkin of Canton, Julia and Raymond Guardado of Canton and Lydia and Walter Hogg of Wilson, NC; three sisters, Sarah Sweeny, Marilyn Price and Barbara Parks; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Vincent and Kristin Guardado, Edward and Carrie
Asper, Amy and Stephen Grabriel, Anthony Guardado, Ann Durkin, Kimberly Hogg and Abigail Hogg; two great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church with Rev. Fr. Joseph Cervo officiating assisted by the Very Rev. Fr. Theodore E. Ziton. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Rossi Funeral Home and also one hour before the services at the church on Thursday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. Trisagion services will be Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home. The funeral procession will form at the church on Thursday.
