Beulah L. Miller. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Deborah Quillen officiating. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home on Monday evening 7-9 p.m.

Carl Tucci
Carl Tucci, 86, of Malvern died in his home Saturday afternoon following a long illness. Born in Malvern, OH January 14, 1916 he was the son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Imbrogo) Tucci. He retired as foreman from Structural Stone with 17 years employment, employed at Malvern Hardware for 17 years, and Metropolitan Brick for 17 years. A member of St. Francis Xavier Church, Malvern. He served in WW II in the U.S. Army. Life member of Valley American Legion Post 375, treasurer for 33 years. Life member of D.A.V. Chapter 85 of Carrollton, AARP, Brown Township Sportsman's Club, Catholic Men's Club. He is survived by his wife, Mary Margaret (Mancuso) Tucci of the home; son, Richard Allen Tucci of Malvern; sister, Mrs. Betty (Tucci) Reed of Malvern; granddaughter, Cassandra Kaufman of Canton and a great-grandchild. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday April 10, 2002 with Msgr. John Michael Campbell as Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Malvern. Calling hours at the Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home, Malvern Tuesday 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a Wake service at 9:00 p.m. Military services will be held at the grave.

Cindy L. Nichols
Cindy L. (Pharis) Nichols, age 51 of Minerva died Sunday morning April 7, 2002 in her home in Minerva following an extended illness. She was born Oct. 7, 1950 in Alliance to Frances Dominick and the late Ronald Lutton. She had worked at the Minerva Leader for many years as editor, photographer, and writer and was a patrolman for the Minerva Police Dept. She is a member of the Minerva First Christian Church where she was a former Sunday School Teacher for many years. She graduated from Minerva High School in 1968 and the Police Academy. She is a member of the Minerva Police Auxiliary and was active in the Cops Christmas for Kids. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Bill Nichols who died Aug. 29, 2000. She is survived by a daughter husband, Michelle Darren Zwick of Minerva; a son wife, Joseph Deborah Pharis of Minerva; mother and stepfather, Frances Archie Brumfield of Parrish, FL; a sister husband, Karen Stanley Pennock of Minerva; a brother and wife, Ronald Sara Lutton Jr. of West Chester, PA; two grandchildren, Caitlin Pharis of Minerva and Kirsten Zwick of Minerva. Funeral services will be Wed. at 1:00 p.m. at The Minerva First Christian Church with Mr. Ralph Norman and Mr. Arthur Guy officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery in Minerva. Calling hours will be Tues. 6-9 p.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. Memorial donations may be made to the Cops Christmas for Kids in Minerva or the Minerva First Christian Church Memorial Garden Fund.

Dean R. Schering
Dean R. Schering. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. John's Catholic Church. Friends may call Monday from 6-9 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home.

Eugene D. Wolford
Eugene D. Wolford, age 65 of Canton passed away Wednesday of a sudden illness in Grandsville, Virginia. He had been employed as a loader with a waste disposal company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Lucy Wolford, two brothers, Victor and Gilbert Wolford. He is survived by two daughters, Michelle Prichett and Cindy Beans both of Canton; six brothers, Glen Wolford of Clearwater, FL, James Wolford of Arizona, Clifford, Gary and Charles Wolford all of Canton, Jeffery Wolford of Massillon; four sisters, Flora Miller of East Canton, Patricia Smith, Virginia Tessanno and Elieen Downing, all of Canton; his dear friend, Florence Smith; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also a number of nieces and nephews. There will be no services or calling hours. The Rossi Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Glenn R. Hughes. Funerals ervices will be Tuesday 1 p.m. in the Spiker-Foster-SHRIVER FuneralHome, 710 Tuscarawas St. West, with Dr.William R. Harvey officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributionsmay be made to Aultman Hospice, 4510 Dressler Rd. NW, Canton, OH 44718 or to a charity of the donor's choice.

Harold G. Feldbush
Harold G. Feldbush. There will be a Gathering to celebrate his life at the Church of the Savior United Methodist on Tuesday April 9, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. George Roberts officiating. The Reed Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the Church of the Savior United Methodist or to the Mercy Medical Center Hospice Program.

James V. McMahan
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Thomas Dyer as celebrant. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation Monday (tonight) 6-9 p.m. in the Rossi Funeral Home.

James W. Lamoreaux
James W. Lamoreaux, age 86, of Canton, died Saturday night in his home after a brief illness. He was a life resident of the Canton area. He retired in 1990 as an appraiser for the Stark County Auditor. Prior to that he and his wife owned Lamoreaux Realtors which they founded in 1957. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, St. Peter's Men's Club/Holy Name Society, and the Airstream Travel Club - W.B.C.C.I. Akron Unit. He was a former member of the Canton Board of Realtors, bowled in several bowing leagues including the Auxiliary Police League for many years, and square danced with many local clubs. Survived by his wife of 65 years, Anne M. Lamoreaux; a daughter, Trisha A. Morris, of Bradford, PA; five grandchildren, Erica M. Whitmer of Kent, OH, Tess A. Whitmer of Dublin, OH, Clifford K. Whitmer and his wife, Lisa of Fairfax, VA, Shawn T. Morris of Parma, OH and Tasha T. Morris Solano and her husband, Robert of Camp LeJeune, NC, and three great-grandchildren, Kevin Solano, and Devin and Julia Whitmer. Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Lamiell Funeral Home with Msgr. John C. Finnigan officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 p.m.

Jane E. Davidson
Jane E. Davidson. Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Chris Davis officiating. Friends may call Monday from 7-9 p.m. and one hour before the service. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Howenstine Christian Church at 6080 East Sparta Ave. SE, East Sparta, OH 44626.

Joseph Gerzina
Joseph Gerzina, age 91 formerly of Canton and for the past 22 years in Lilburn, GA passed away Thursday April 4, 2002 in the Embracing Hospice in Snellville, GA following an extended illness. Born in Mingo Junction, OH on February 27, 1911 he was the son of the late, Anton and Barbara Gerzina. He moved to Canton as a young boy, living most of his life in the Canton area, attending Hartford Elementary School. He was a former driver for the Canton City Bus Lines and formerly owned and operated for 20 years the Apex Drilling and Blasting Co. in Canton, until retiring in 1980. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge and the Canton Ex-Newsboys. In earlier years he was a Professional Boxer as Middleweight Champion. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters and his wife, Martha J. (Reed) Gerzina who passed away June 1970. Survivors include three children and spouses; Barbara and Bob Squires of Alpharetta, GA, Blanchard Corky Gerzina and Jean of Canton, OH and Karen and Jon Samuelson of North Canton, OH; one sister, Jo Waddy of Massillon, OH. There are ten grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Calling hours at the funeral home on Tuesday evening 6-8 p.m. and one hour before the services on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Canton Ex-Newsboy's Assoc., PO Box 20124, Canton, OH 44701-0124 or the Embracing Hospice Care Foundation Inc., 3180 Presidential Drive, Suite E, Atlanta, GA 30540. We are very grateful for your long life and influence on our lives. Dad, Potsy, PePa, Joe--you will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Marjorie E. Laine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. St. Paul's Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr. James A. Clarke officiating. Interment in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Malvern, OH. Friends may call Monday (today) 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Karlo Sons Funeral Home. The family would like to express their gratitude for the support and friendship of Ralph Warburton, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Cancer Support Group, 241 S. Main St., North Canton, OH 44720.

Mary F. Davis
Mary F. Davis, 78, of Carrollton, died Sunday, April 7, 2002, in Hennis Care Ctr. at Dover, where she had been a resident for two and half years. She was born Nov. 20, 1923 in Northfield, OH the daughter of the late, Leland and Sylvia Miller Morgan and she was a life resident of Carroll County. Mary was a baker having worked at the former Al's Grocery in Carrollton and retired in 1989 from the Betty Kaye Bakery in Carrollton. She was a member of the Kilgore United Methodist Church and the Carrollton Rebekah Lodge. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Shirley) Hendrix of Carrollton; two brothers, Warren Morgan of Kilgore and Earl Morgan of Massillon; one sister, Betty Bick of Kilgore; one granddaughter, Lorrie (Derik) Kaltenbaugh of Carrollton; and one great-grandson, Robbie Kaltenbaugh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl F. Davis, in 1968; one grandson, Corrie Hendrix; one brother, John Morgan; and one sister, Kathryn Kelly. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the Allmon-Dugger Hively Funeral Home in Carrollton with Dr. Charles Naylor officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. Calling hours will be one hour before the time of service (10-11) on Wednesday day at the funeral home.

Mary H. Noall
Mary H. Noall, age 89, of Jackson Twp., passed away peacefully Thursday, April 4, 2002 surrounded by her family. Mary was born Aug. 1, 1912 and enjoyed her family and friends and traveling with her husband. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She will be sadly missed and always be remembered for her love and kindness in everyone's lives that she touched. Mary was a former member of Westlawn Methodist Church in Akron and was active in many church groups. Preceded in death by her husband, Fred. She leaves her sons, William F. (Nancy) of Silver Spring, MD, Fred (Lisa) of Jackson Twp.; grandchildren, Kenny, Terry, Lisa, Julie, Kevin, Debbie, Andrew; several great-grandchildren and her brother, Thomas Williams of Cuyahoga Falls. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 9, at 11 a.m. at Karlo-Feucht Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard Rd. NW, with Rev. Cal Hamblin officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Calling hours will be held one hour prior to the services.

Mike Church
Mike Church, age 42, of LaBelle, FL, passed away April 2, 2002 at LaBelle. He was born November 29, 1959 at Wiesbaden, Germany to Roy Church and Heike Brueckner. He is a former resident of Akron, OH. Survivors include his wife, Beth Church of LaBelle; son, Chris Strickland of Camp LeJeune, NC; daughter, Kelly Songwinds of Akron, OH; mother, Heike Bartholomew of Barberton, OH; brothers, Denny Church and family of Pharr, TX and Paul Church and family of Canton, OH; maternal grandmother, Oma Brueckner of Columbus, OH; Uncle Uli and Family of Weisbaden, Germany; niece, Many Strickland of LaBelle; great nieces, K.C. Strickland and Taylor Wagner, both of LaBelle and the extended family from Plattner's LaBelle Dodge Chrysler Jeep. He was preceded in death by Opa Brueckner. Funeral Services were held Friday, April 5, 2002, 11:00 a.m. at the Akin-Davis Funeral Home in LaBelle with Pastor Bob Moore of Hope Hospice and Mike Rose officiating. Interment followed at Fort Denaud Cemetery in LaBelle. Mike's family would like to give a special tanks to Hope Hospice for their caring service to their family.

Mildred E. Grim
Mrs. Mildred Elizabeth Grim, age 95, died Saturday, April 6, 2002 at Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Dalton. She was born, June 2, 1907, in East Greenville, OH to George and Elizabeth Eberhardt and married Gayle George Grim in 1929. She was a homemaker and had spent most of her life in the Wayne and Stark County area. She was a member of the Dalton Methodist Church. She is survived by a son, Gene Gayle Grim (Janice) of Dalton; grandchildren, Douglas and Erin (Mike) Barnhouse of Dalton, Gib (Lori) and great-grandchildren, Samatha and Gabrielle of Massillon, Jennifer (Kevin) Himes of Wooster; daughter, Lois (Danny) Foster of Union Falls, VA and brother, Wilfred (Opal) Eberhardt of Massillon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gayle (1964) and grandson, Toby Grim (1995), brothers, Harold and Russell Eberhardt and sister, Anna (Leonard) Rudy of Massillon. Private funeral services will be held Tuesday 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, 3655 Wales Avenue NW, Massillon, OH with Rev. Michael McHale of the Dalton Methodist Church officiating. There will be no calling hours. Any contributions in her memory may be made to the Dalton United Methodist Church of Hospice of Wayne County. The Reed Funeral Home in Canton is handling arrangements.

Sylvester Huston, Sr.
Sylvester Huston Sr., age 81, of 415 Hoffman Street, Youngstown, departed this life Tuesday April 2, 2002 in St. Elizabeth Health Center. Mr. Huston was born June 24, 1920 in Lynch, KY., a son of Sam Sr. and Annie Spencer Huston. He had worked as a roll setting technician for Republic Steel, retiring in 1981 after 44 years. He was a member of the church, a teacher for the Metoka Sunday School Class, member of the Male Chorus, Baptist Training Union and the Evangelism Committee. He leaves his wife, the former Marion Baker who he married November 2, 1947; two sons, Sylvester Huston, Jr. of North Canton, OH., and Mark Anthony Huston of Juliet, IL; a daughter, Gabrielle Turner of Columbus, OH; three brothers, Garnett Huston and James Willis Huston both of Oak Park, IL., Sam Huston of Selma, AL; a sister, Theresa Banks of Youngstown, OH; six grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call one hour prior to service in the church. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Third Baptist Church, in Youngstown. Arrangements are handled by the F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home.
