Arthur C. Tesch
Arthur C. Tesch, age 83, of Dillsburg, PA and formerly of Canton, OH, died Tuesday morning at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, Pa. He was born Jan. 27, 1918 the son of the late Charles and Alice Stockert Tesch in Canton, OH. He was retired in 1976 as an electronics technician with the Naval Electronics Systems Command in Washington, DC. He was a Cpl. in the U.S. Army having fought in the South Pacific during W.W. II. He was a member of \The Flirts Skirts\and \Dance Arounds\dance clubs of Dillsburg. He also was a member of the West Shore Elks Club #2257; Mechanicsburg American Legion Post #109; and the Mechanicsburg VFW. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Pearl A. Foltz Tesch; one daughter, June N. Dudley of Mechanicsburg, PA; one granddaughter, Laura J.McGuire of Lewisberry; two great-grandchildren, Melody C. and Patrick J.McGuire, both of Lewisberry. Services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St. Dillsburg, PA with the Rev. Patrick Rooney officiating. Burial will be in the Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill, Pa. Viewings will be held Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. and on Monday from 12:30 p.m. till 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Carol Ann James
Carol Ann James, age 61, of Canton, died Friday morning in the home following an extended illness. Born October 2, 1940, in Canton, to the late Glen and Flossie Nichols. She attended St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by two brothers, William and Jack Nichols. Survivors include her husband, Jerry of the home with whom she celebrated 41 years of marriage; five sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas James, Timothy James, Jesse and Rhonda James, Jerry and Donna James and Daniel and Tina James all of Canton; and one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Arthur Sines of Canton; 19 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and one sister, Doris Portman of Florida. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Stanley Wallace officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home Sunday 2-5 p.m.

Edith A. Swonger
Edith A. Swonger, age 83, of Canton, OH, passed away Thursday afternoon, November 22, 2001 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Nelsonville, OH, October 31, 1918, she lived most of her life in the Canton area and was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence W. Swonger 1983. Survivors include four children, Joseph A. Hooper of Akron, OH, Betty Lutz of Magnolia, OH, John Hooper of Mineral City, OH, Clarence E. Swonger of East Canton, OH; numerous grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond L. Tucker officiating. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home Sunday 2-4 p.m.

Franklin E. Young
Franlin E. Nick Young. Services will be Saturday (today) at 1 p.m. in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave., with Rev. Troy Bannister officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

Hazel VanFossen Ball Schwall
Hazel VanFossen Ball Schwall, 98, of Canton, OH, formerly of Woodsfield, OH died November 20, 2001 at Altercare of Ohio in Canton. She was born May 4, 1903 in Belmont County, daughter of the late James Harvey and Venora Leisure VanFossen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold W. Schwall, daughter and son-in-law, William P. and Betty Hammerly, grandson, Robert Hammerly, brother, Willard H. VanFossen, and two sisters, Olive G. Walker and Effie H. Major. Surviving are a grandson, William P. Hammerly, Jr. of Canton; great-grandson, Joshua Hammerly of Canton; sister-in-law, Geraldine Swank of Bolivar; OH, and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Monday from 1 p.m. until time of the service at 2 p.m. at Campbell-Plumly Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut Street, Barnesville, OH. Burial follows in Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda, OH.

Jaime M. Brocker
Jaime M. (Depetri) Brocker, age 25, of Akron, was suddenly called to the Lord on Tues.
Nov. 20, 2001. Jamie was a beloved free spirit who loved her family, her friends, her animals and her music. She was a foster mother to Nassere and a volunteer at the Stark County Humane Society and was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. Survived by her mother, Joyce Ann (Depetri) Brocker of Florida; father, Jeffrey Lee Brocker of Michigan; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Frank (Louise) Depetri of Canton; sisters, Joyce Ann and Nancy, both of Arizona, Liz and Jessica, both of Michigan; many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Benedict Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. John Zuzik as celebrant. Friends will be received at the church Saturday 8:30-10 a.m. God Bless You, Jaime The Rossi Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Marcia Kay. Pence
Marcia Kay. Pence, daughter of the late Robert J. Pence and Frances Ricard Pence, died October 30, 2001 at her home in San Fransisco, CA. Survived by eight brothers and sisters and a extended family. Marcia's life shall be celebrated with a Memorial Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Canton on Monday November 26, 2001. at 10 a.m.

Margaret Krotky
Margaret Krotky, age 84, of Massillon, passed away Wednesday at Doctors Hospital, from a brief illness. Margaret was born January 16, 1917 in Cleveland, OH. She was of Catholic Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Magdalene Benish; one great granddaughter; brother, Joseph Benish; Sister, Irene Timney. Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Darlene Ripple of Massillon and Mrs. Walter (Rose) Cunningham of Navarre; son, Robert E. Krotky of Magnolia; two sisters, Mrs. Thomas (Elizabeth) Lindsey of Canton, Mrs. Blaine (Lucille) Byers of Massillon; nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Atkinson-Feucht-Shaidnagle Funeral Home, Massillon with Fr. Thomas P. Dyer as celebrant. Interment will be South Lawn Cemetery in Beach City. Calling hours are Sunday 6-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Leukemia Society of America, 20525 Center Ridge Rd. #630 Cleveland, OH 44116.

Mary J. Kiminas
Mary J. (Cotopolis) Kiminas, age 77, of Canton, passed away Friday afternoon after an extended illness. A life resident of Canton, she was a member of St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, Philoptochos Society, graduate of Canton Lincoln High School and a supporter of the Special Olympics. She was a former board member of Olympic Plating. Preceded in death by her parents, James and Artemis (John) Cotopolis, husband, John C. Kiminas in 1982, son, Johnny in 1975, brothers, Krist and Harry Cotopolis. She is survived by her daughter, Lori of the home; brothers and sisters-in-law, Pete and Vickie of Mansfield, Nick and Sophia, Bill and Sharleen all of Canton; sisters-in-law, Helen Cotopolis and Mary C. Cotopolis both of Canton; numerous nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews; and godchildren. Friends may call on Sunday 7-9 p.m. in the ROSSI FUNERAL HOME where Trisagion Services will be held at 7:30. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church with Rev. Fr. Michael Pastrikos officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's name can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Canton Chapter, 4815 Munson St. N.W., Canton, OH, 44718. In keeping with her generous spirit, the family would like to thank those who gave unselfishly of their time to be there for Mary and Lori in this last year.

Mary L. Cline
Mary Louise (Wiseman) Cline, age 62, of Canton, passed away Thursday, Nov. 22, 2001, in Mercy Medical Center. She was born Feb. 6, 1939 in Charleston, WV, Mary retired from
Park Farms in September of 1989 after 25 years of service. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia E. Williams in 1998. Survived by her life companion of 35 years, Dorothy (Dodie) Thomas; one daughter, Patti Cline Harvin of Stuart, FL; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Cynthia Cline, William and Stacy Cline, all of Canton; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Shari Moffatt and family of Phoenix, AZ; five grandsons, Brian Cline, Dennis Hardesty II, Anthony Salter Cline, Ronald and Samantha Cline and William Cline; three great-grandchildren, Chandler, Taylor and Jordan, all of Canton. Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home, Louisville with Chaplain Bonnie Barker officiating. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment in Northlawn Cemetery, Canton.

Paul M. Ketler
Paul M. Ketler, age 90, of Canton, died Friday morning in Aultman Hospital after a brief illness. Born in North Lawrence, OH, Paul retired from the Timken Company in 1976 after 35 years of service. He was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Hall of Fame Luncheon Club. Paul greatly enjoyed sports, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Margaret Ketler on August 26, 2001. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. William (Susan) Wise of Canton, and Mrs. Larry (Cindy) Jensen of Middletown, MD; three grandchildren, Pamela Wise of Cincinnati, Karen Jensen of Middletown, MD and Mike (Keli) Jensen of New Market, MD; two brothers, Wilbur Ketler of Florida and Warren Ketler of Arizona. Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, November 26, 2001 in the Spiker-Foster-SHRIVER Funeral Home, 4817 Cleveland Ave. NW with Rev. C. David Morgan officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

William C. Bender
William C. Bender, age 89 of Massillon died Thursday in Altercare of Navarre following a lengthy illness. He was born July 19, 1912 in Massillon, where he was a life resident. He was a retired Civil Engineer, for the former Massillon State Hospital and had worked at the Massillon Paper Mill. He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Navarre, member of Stark Wilderness Center received distinguished service award 1976, past member - Audubon Society. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Laura (Kemp) Bender, sister, Donna Lutz and brother, Robert Bender. He is survived by his wife, Ruth C. (Graber) Bender with whom he celebrated their 63rd Anniversary on October 22, 2001; sister, Marie Meimer of Massillon and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in St. Paul United Church at 11:00 a.m. on Monday with Rev. Marcia Stalnaker officiating. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery, Wilmont. Calling hours will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Tree of Life Gifts, Stark Wilderness Center, P.O. Box 202, Wilmot, OH 44689 or St. Paul United Church of Christ, 377 N. Main St., Navarre, OH 44662.
