PATRICIA DONITA KASLER
Patricia Donita McKnight Kasler, 58, died Monday, Nov. 6 at Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital, Columbus.
Born Feb. 14, 1942, Nelsonville, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Elsworth McKnight Sr. and Beatrice Lucille Rizer McKnight.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville.
Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 Friday.

ROXANNA QUINETTE RISCH
Roxanna Quinette Shaw Risch, 95, Logan, died Monday, Nov. 6 in the Skilled Nursing Unit at Hocking Valley Community Hospital after an extended illness.
Born June 18, 1905, Hocking County, daughter of the late Otto Ansel and Emma Daisy Carpenter Shaw, she was the widow of Lester V. Risch, who died in 1991.
She was a homemaker; a 1928 graduate of Ohio University; a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Logan; taught mathematics at New Straitsville High School; was a member of the Logan Tourist Club; and participated in many community organizations.
Surviving are two daughters, Dr. Harold E. (Carol Ann) Kelch of Newark and Dr. Sidney R. (Janie) Fortney of Southport, N.C.; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a brother, George C. (Lucy) Shaw of Logan; and several nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in death by a brother, Paul H. Shaw, who died in 1960.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Roberts Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert E. Dauber officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 Wednesday at the funeral home.

LEMMA JEAN MARINKO
Lemma Jean Lloyd Marinko, 75, Logan, died Wednesday, Nov. 8 at her daughteršs residence in Jackson, Tenn., after an extended illness.
Born April 21, 1925, Murray City, daughter of the late Charles Franklin and Lemma Bliss Jones Lloyd, she was the widow of Joseph Arthur Marinko who died in 1998.
A homemaker, she was a former member of the Logan American Legion and VFW auxiliaries.
She is survived by a son, Les Joel (Karen) Marinko of Troy, Mich.; a daughter, Mrs. Robert J. (Julie Alayne) Plunk of Jackson, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Jennifer Marinko of Troy, Mich., and Jerome Marinko of Walled Lake, Mich; and a sister, LaDonna Vivian of Taylor, Mich.
She also was preceded in death by a son, Frank Joseph Marinko; a daughter, Bliss Ann Marinko; a sister, Crella Bryon; and a brother, Charles Lloyd.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Oak Grove cemetery with the Rev. Father Richard J. Pendolphi officiating.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Roberts Funeral Home, Logan.

MELVIN A. BROWN
Melvin A. Brown, 64, Logan, died Thursday, Nov. 9 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster.
Born July 7, 1936, Hocking County, son of the late Lester C. and Opal Seitz Brown, he was married for 40 years to Shelby J. Daubenmire Brown, who survives.
He retired from General Electric, Circleville, in 1992 after 37 years of service as a machine shop mechanic; attended Pine Grove United Methodist Church, where he was a trustee; served in the U.S. National Guard, Logan; and was a graduate of South Bloomingville High School.
Also surviving are a son, Todd A. Brown of Tiffin; a daughter, Mrs. James S. (Cathy S.) Dooley of South Webster; a grandson, Levi C. Dooley of South Webster; three brothers, Marvin (Martha) Brown of Logan, Carl (Linda) Brown of South Bloomingville and Vernon (Jacqueline) Brown of Pickerington; a sister, Bernice Hill of Kingston; and mother-in-law, Dorothy E. Daubenmire of Logan.
He also was preceded in death by a sister, Viola Jones, and father-in-law, Carl W. Daubenmire.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home with the Revs. Michael Menrath, Roger Fidler and Homer Morris officiating.
Burial will be in Pine Grove cemetery.
Friends may call after 9 a.m. Saturday, with the family in attendance from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 and after 10 a.m. Sunday until the time of service.

PEGGY A. SHEETS
Peggy A. Sheets, 65, Logan, died Wednesday, Nov. 8 at her residence.
Born Jan. 7, 1935, Athens County, she was the wife of Harold Sheets, who survives.
She was a member of the Eagles and Moose Lodge in Logan.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Reba) Boudinot of Marysville and Debra Eddington of Nebraska; two stepsons, Howie Sheets and Mark (Kim) Sheets of Logan; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Gilbert (Cyndi) Goines, Mrs. Jack (Lisa) Karns and Mrs. Danny (Penny) Williams, all of Logan; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, William (Betty) Dearing of Akron; and four sisters, Jeannette Peck and Mrs. Neil (Sue) McMillan, both of Akron, and Irene Garner and Elaine Newman, both of Nelsonville.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; two sisters; and a granddaughter.
Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cardaras Funeral Home, Logan.
Committal services will be held 3 p.m. in Whitmore cemetery, Buchtel.
No calling hours will be observed.
The family suggests contributions be made to the American Heart Association, Hocking County, 295 Midland Place, Logan, Ohio 43138.

FRANK PRIMMER
Frank Primmer, 72, 717 Faustina Ave., Bucyrus, died Thursday, Nov. 9 at Mansfield MedCentral Hospital following a brief illness.
Born June 30, 1928, Logan, son of the late Harry R. and Ethel G. Appleman Primmer, he was the widower of Margaret Shaw, who died Oct. 15.
A Starr Washington High School graduate, he was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of Amvets Post 27 and Bucyrus Moose Lodge 669.
He had retired from Anchor Hocking in Lancaster and Lancaster High School. Recently, he worked part-time at Carlešs Market and had worked at the Bucyrus Moose Lodge.
Surviving are two daughters, Barbara S. Collier of New Albany and Denise Kelley-Stewart of Logan; a son, Tom Primmer of Lancaster; a stepdaughter, Charlotte Walterhouse of Bucyrus; a stepson, Chuck Moore of Bucyrus; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Harry 'Bud' Primmer of Trinity, Ala., Ralph Primmer of Columbus and Jim and Carl 'Jumbo' Primmer, both of Logan; and three sisters, Mary Perry of Shelby, Thelma McGarvey of Columbus and Carol Ann Kitchen of Logan.
He also was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Jo, and two sisters, Ellen Primmer and Wavelene Knox.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, 215 N. Walnut St., Bucyrus, with Pastor Don Neumann officiating.
Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.
Military graveside services will be conducted by American Legion Post.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 Sunday at the funeral home.
Tribute of service will be recited by Bucyrus Moose Lodge at 6:45 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
The family suggests contributions be made to the donoršs choice at the funeral home.

LESLIE A. DENNIS SR.
Leslie A. Dennis Sr., 65, Murray City, died Saturday, Nov. 11 at Doctors Hospital of Nelsonville. Born Aug. 15, 1935, Rendville, son of the late Henry and Mary Yocum Dennis, he was married to Carol Timmons Dennis, who survives. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home, Murray City. Burial will be in Salem cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

TYLER JACOB HARDEN
Tyler Jacob Harden, one month, Glouster, died Saturday, Nov. 11 at Doctors Hospital of Nelsonville. Born Oct. 5, he was the son of Edward Franklin Harden and Jessica Mae Losh, both of Glouster. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at Brown Funeral Home, Murray City. Burial will be in Hilltop cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 Wednesday at the funeral home.

DORIS E. RANKIN
Doris E. Rankin, 70, Glouster, died Friday, Nov. 10 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville. Born Dec. 15, 1929, Glouster, daughter of the late Dow W. Davis Sr. and Mary Richards Davis, she was married to Lowell Rankin. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home, Murray City. Burial will be in Maplewood cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.

EARL FRAZIER
Earl F. Frazier, 63, Logan, died Saturday, Nov. 11 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital. Born Sept. 23, 1937, Lancaster, son of the late Fred and Cora (Beverly) Frazier, he was married to Valerie Frazier, who survives. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at Floral Hill Memory Gardens, Lancaster. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 today at Sheridan Funeral Home, Lancaster. The family suggests contributions be made to Sheridan Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.

JOSEPHINE ELLEN CROTHERS
Josephine Ellen Crothers, 89, Logan, died Tuesday, Nov. 14 at the Skilled Nursing Unit at Hocking Valley Community Hospital after an extended illness. Born July 15, 1911, Nelsonville, daughter of the late Hugh Edward and Adda Ceilslie Smart Joy, she was the widow of Lester Dale Crothers, who died in 1983. A homemaker, she was a retired cook from Logan-Hocking schools after many years of service and a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Adult Education Club of Logan and TWIG I. She is survived by four sons, Larry Dale (Melinda L.) Crothers and Martin E. (Sheila) Crothers, both of Haydenville, and Wilmer L. 'Jerry' (Janis) Crothers and Earljoy (Ann) Crothers, both of Logan; a daughter, Charolette Sue Crothers of Logan; 18 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a grandson; five brothers; four sisters; and two infant sisters. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Roberts Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary K. Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Good Hope Township. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 Thursday and from 9 a.m. until time of the service Friday at the funeral home.

POLLY JOHNSON
Polly Johnson, 77, Dallas, Texas, formerly of Nelsonville, died Saturday, Nov. 11 at Medical City Hospital, Dallas. Born July 16, 1923, Athens County, she was the daughter of the late Donald Ray and Ella Gilbert Johnson. Graveside services will be held Saturday at Greenlawn cemetery, Nelsonville, with the Rev. Harold McConnell officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, Nelsonville. The family suggests contributions be made to Girl Scouts ‹ Seal of Ohio, 1700 Watermark Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43215-1097.
