Sarah Fett
Sarah E. Fett, 94, formerly of 1016 W. Spring St., St. Marys, died at 7:46 p.m. July 26, 2003, at the St. Marys Living Center.
She was born June 15, 1909, in Logan County, to Andrew and Anna Shoults Cox. On May 5, 1928, she married Foster Jones who died Jan. 13, 1940. On Sept. 22, 1973, she married William Feth who died March 2, 1982.
Surviving are two stepdaughters, Shirley (Ronald) Dorazio, Watertown, Conn., and RoseMarie Hiznay, Bridgeport, Conn.; a sister, Eldine Holaday, Naperville, Ill.; and three stepgrandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Patricia Jones; two brothers, Robert and Kenneth Cox; and a sister, Ruth Ward.
She had worked at Boss Glove Company and Peerless Glove Company, both of Bluffton. She was a member Wayne Street United Methodist Church, St. Marys, and Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary 767.
Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Jumbo.
Calling is after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Frederick Mueller
Frederick R. Mueller, 49, South Frankfort Street, Minster, was pronounced dead on arrival July 26, 2003, at Wayne Hospital, Greenville. He reportedly became ill that morning while mowing a lot he owns at 52 East St. in Yorkshire.
He was born Sept. 26, 1953, in Coldwater, to Henry and Marietta Drees Mueller. He previously was married to Nancy Pottkotter who survives in Osgood.
Also surviving are two sons, Eric of Maria Stein and Alvin of Osgood; two daughters, Angela and Emily, also of Osgood; five brothers, Paul (Elaine) of New Weston, Elmer (Jean) of Yorkshire, Carl (Lois) of Fort Loramie, William (Nancy) of St. Henry, and Michael (Donna) of New Bremen; and three sisters, Betty (Stanley) Bertke, Maria Stein, Linda (Wayne) Bowers, Yorkshire, and Margaret (Richard) DeMange, Versailles.
His parents and a brother, Kenneth, are deceased.
He was employed at Crown Equipment Corp. He was a 1971 graduate of Marion Local High School, a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood, and a life member of the North American Hunting Club.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. David L. Zink officiating. Burial will follow at St. Martin Cemetery, Osgood.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie.
Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or the Diabetes Foundation.

Dona Rasberry
Coldwater native Dona L. Rasberry, 74, died at 1:49 a.m. July 27, 2003, at The Gardens at Celina.
She was born Jan. 15, 1929, in Coldwater, to William and Hilma Johnson Lauber. On Dec. 19, 1950, she married James H. Rasberry who died Sept. 5, 1997.
Surviving are four sons, Garry (Annette) Moorman, Hartland, Mich., John (Mary) Rasberry, Polson, Mont., Richard Rasberry, St. Marys; and Michial (Janet) Rasberry, Celina; a daughter, Patricia (Dennis) Pruitt, Columbia, S.C.; a brother, Val Lauber, Stockton, Calif.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Two sisters and a brother are deceased.
She was a homemaker and a member of Abounding Grace Church of God, Celina.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Rick Brosher officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Evangelical Methodist Cemetery, Mendon.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina, and after 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.

Bruno Rybicki
Bruno L. Rybicki, 83, of Delphos, died at 4:45 a.m. July 27, 2003, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born May 17, 1920, in Butternut, Wis., to Frank and Katie Kienszkonski Rybicki. On Aug. 23, 1941, he married Leota P. Bryan who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Robert (Georgeanne) of Romeoville, Ill.; a daughter, Cheryl (Larry) Howell, Celina; two brothers, Walter (Joan) and Harry, both of Chicago, Ill.; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Two brothers and three sisters are deceased.
He retired from the Chicago City Police Department after 32 1/2 years of service. He served as an aerial gunner/tail gunner in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and earned 11 awards, including two Purple Hearts. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Harter and Son Funeral Home, Delphos, the Rev. Dan Eaton officiating. Burial will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Monday and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the church or the American Cancer Society.

Linda Smuland
Linda S. Smuland, 49, 13450 Renee Drive, McCartyville, died at 7:40 p.m. July 26, 2003, at her residence following a two-year illness.
She was born July 21, 1954, in St. Marys, to Virgil and Irene Schipper Hoying. The mother survives in McCartyville. In June 1980, she married Kevin Smuland who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Lori (Benny) Smuland Facio and Melissa, both of Cypress, Calif.; three brothers, Thomas (Deb) Hoying, Troy, Paul (Donna) Hoying and Dave (Linda) Hoying, both of McCartyville; three sisters, Margaret Hoying, Atlanta, Ga., Betsy Hoying, Scotts Valley, Calif., and Mary (Steven) Liening, Minster; and a grandson.
She owned the Kentucky Country Register newspaper. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, McCartyville, and a former member of St. Irenaeus Catholic Church in Cypress, where she had been involved in the caring ministry.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the McCartyville church, the Revs. Patrick Welsh and Vincent Hoying officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
Contributions can be made to Wilson Hospice Care.

Mildred Sutter
Mildred Sutter, 70, 709 N. Second St., Coldwater, died at 4:13 a.m. July 27, 2003, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 9, 1932, in Coldwater, to Julius and Odelia Broerman Bruggeman. On Jan. 9, 1954, she married Ernest J. Sutter who died Oct. 8, 1997.
Surviving are a son, Ed (Janelle) of Irvine, Calif.; five daughters, Mona (Mark) Heitbrink, Charlotte, N.C., Edith (Mike) Plummer, Granger, Ind., Barb (John) Wachauf, St. Marys, Chris (Jay) Harnish, Fremont, and Phyllis (Terry) Gaerke, Celina; and 16 grandchildren.
Other survivors include two brothers, Ves (Pat) Bruggeman, Sarasota, Fla., and Carl (Vinnie) Bruggeman, Beavercreek; and two sisters, Elaine (Eldon) Lewis, Miamisburg, and Thelma (Dick) Cowman, Centerville.
Deceased are a brother, Dale Bruggeman; a sister, Ruth Foster; and a grandchild.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality and St. Cecelia Knights of St. John Auxiliary, all of Coldwater.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Ronald Wilker officiating. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.

Lawrence Reinhard
Former Fort Recovery resident Lawrence R. Reinhard, 58, of Lima, died at his residence on July 24, 2003, of natural causes.
He was born Aug. 2, 1944, in Celina, to Sylvester and Martha Lewis Reinhard.
Survivors include a daughter, Kim Evers of Union City; a son, Mike (Alana) of Hollansburg; three brothers, Jim (Debbie) of Downers Grove, Ill., Steve (Kila) of Fairlawn, and Dave of Chillicothe; three sisters, Jean (Frank) Grieshop of Russia, Janice (Bob) Murlin of Huber Heights, and Mary (Tim) Philpot of Arcanum; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A 1963 graduate of Fort Recovery High School, he served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was employed at Ford Motor co. in Lima. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Lima.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, with the Rev. Kenneth Alt officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in St. Joe.
Calling is from 2-5 p.m. Sunday and from 9-10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

David Lantz
David L. Lantz, 63, Houston, Tex., died at 10:01 a.m. July 20, 2003 in Houston, Texas.
He was born, in Greenville, April 28, 1940, to M. J. Rome and Frances Hough Lantz.
He is survived by his wife, Sue, two sons, Steven, Miami Fla., and Bradley (Jill) Phoenix, Ariz.; three stepsons, Jeff (Amanda) Brown, Las Vegas, Jason Fennig, Columbus, and Kevin, Augusta, Ga.; three stepdaughters, Julie (Scott) Darner, Sarasota, Fla., Sherry (Jamie) Williams, St. Marys, and Denise Fennig, Columbus; two brothers, John (Jean), Centerville, Steven (Francia), Rincon, Puerto Rico; three sisters, Jean (Bill) Shepherd, Mary Ann (Chip) Caldwell, both of Greenville, Paula (Jack) Weitz, Celina; and seven grandchildren.
Deceased are his parents and a brother, Lowell.
He was a graduate of Greenville High School in 1958, and of Findlay College in 1962. He also earned his master's degree from Indiana State University.
He coached football in Ohio and Florida and baseball at Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Ind. He also established the Special Olympics program in Portsmouth. In Houston, he was owner/operator of Leave It To Lantz Foundation Repair Co. until his retirement in June 2002. He was an active member in the Canterbury United Methodist Church in Houston.
Memorial service will be Wednesday at 1:59 p.m. at Greenville Church of the Nazarene, with the deceased's nephew, the Rev. Bruce Shepherd, officiating.
Condributions may be made to: M. D. Anderson Cancer Center; Southwest Area Ministries,both of Houston, Tex., or Greenville Athletic Boosters, in Greenville.

Doris Taylor
Doris E. Taylor, 95, 517 Linden Ave., St. Marys, died at 11:53 p.m. July 23, 2003, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 30, 1907 in West Union, to James H. and Ida May (Slagle) Mahaffey. On Sept. 2, 1933, she married Landis Taylor, who died March 25, 1984.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a sister, Princess Bodkin.
She retired as co-owner/operator of Favorite Cab Service in St. Marys. She was named resident of the year in 1995-96 at St. Marys Living Center.
She was a member of Wayne Street United Methodist Church in St. Marys, Kishler Women's Relief Corps, St. Marys and Indian Lake Senior Citizens.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Monday at Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Mark Behr
Mark A. "Shocka" Behr, 40, Eastview Drive, Fort Loramie, died July 22, 2003, at his residence. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born May 20, 1963, in Sidney, to Cletus and Ruth Ann Leugers Behr. The mother survives in Fort Loramie. He previously was married to Theresa Otting and she survives in LaPort, Texas.
Also surviving are a 9-year-old son, Ryan, of LaPort; three brothers, Michael (Lin) of Fort Meyers, Fla., James (Lisa) of Maria Stein, and Donald of Fort Loramie; and two sisters, Kathryn and Mary, also of Fort Loramie.
His grandparents are deceased.
He was employed at Michael's Mowers near Houston. He was a 1982 graduate of Fort Loramie High School and the Upper Valley Joint Vocational School, Piqua, where he was enrolled in the auto mechanics program. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. The body was cremated and the ashes will be interred at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie.
Contributions can be made to Children's Medical Center, Dayton.

Wanda Hubley
Memorial service for Wanda M. Hubley, 93, 1302 Queensbury Drive, Celina, is 10:30 a.m. Friday at Celina Manor Nursing Home chapel, the Rev. Kathleen Hayes officiating.
She died at 3:30 a.m. July 12, 2003, at Celina Manor.
Lehman Funeral Home, Celina, has charge of arrangements. Contributions can be made to the Red Cross.
