J. Kevin Igoe
J. Kevin Igoe, age 52, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 1, 1998 with faith that he will be ``perfectly happy for all eternity.'' Kevin graduated from the University of Notre Dame and was involved in Real Estate Appraisal and Management for 25 years. After completing OCS he served his country in Viet Nam. Kevin was a member of St. Peters Church, the Notre Dame Sorin Society, Institute of Real Estate Management, Columbus Board of Real Estate, and Brookside Country & Golf Club. Preceded in death by parents, John D. and Mary V. Igoe; he is survived by his cherished wife, Pat; sons, Scott (Rosaleen), Brian, Stephen (Kim); and grandson, Andrew Newcomb; sisters and brothers, Mary (Dick) Meyers, Dan (Patty), Maggi (Will) Shively, Michael (Cindy), and Cecilia Galbraith; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dick and Marge McCort; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Phylis and Jeff Parker; beloved nieces and nephews, Greg, Andy (Sarah) Meyers, Helen (Mark) Wymer, Kelly, John, and Miriam Igoe, Josh (Amy) and Sophia Corna, Michael, Joseph, Kiel, Colin, and Conor Igoe, Colleen and Ian Galbraith, Danielle and David Parker; other relatives and special friend John (Susie) Connor and many more. Warren ``Pops'' L. Ingram
CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Warren ``Pops'' L. Ingram, 73, died April 13, 1998. Mr. Ingram was born in Altoona, Pa., had resided in Akron the past four years, and Cuyahoga Falls for 46 years. He retired in 1991 as a press operator for RCA Rubber (Eclat Rubber) with 49 years service, and was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving in World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy I., and is survived by his daughter, Carol (Reid) and her husband, Floyd Ackerman, of Coventry; grandchildren, Annamarie (Humes) McCarty, Dennis Reid Jr. and Mindy Reid; two great-grandsons; and brother, Clarence Ingram of Tallmadge. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, where a funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Fr. Sarah Frances Irish (nee Lucke)
SHARON TWP./WADSWORTH -- Sarah Frances Irish (nee Lucke) died Wednesday, April 8, 1998, at Barberton Citizens Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Houston, Texas, Mrs. Irish resided in Akron, previously residing in Sharon Twp. and Wadsworth. She was a licensed practical nurse at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital, retiring in 1973 with 17 years service. Mrs. Irish was the wife of the late Ferran, and is survived by sister, Anne Young of Minnesota; several nieces and nephews; and dear friend and caregiver Mary Clauss of Barberton. She was also preceded in death by sister, Mary Ellen Russ and brother, James Lucke. Funeral service Saturday, 11 a.m. at the Hilliard Cox Mullaney Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service, Pastor Merlen C. Levering officiating. Henry O. Ivery
Henry O. Ivery, 73, went home to be with the Lord on April 13, 1998, at St. Thomas, after a long illness. Born in Mobile, Ala., he lived in this community 54 years. He was employed as a tire curer for the B. F. Goodrich Co., last working in 1987. He was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Goodrich U.R.W. Local 5, and a former member of Phoenix Lodge 112. He is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Novella Ivery; sons, Henry O. Ivery Jr., Aaron (Sandra) Ivery, Tracy R. Ivery, all of Akron; daughters, Lula Trice of Pontiac, Mich., Glenda Wright, Antonella Ivery, both of Akron; brothers, Franklin Ivery of Union Springs, Ala., Dock Ivery Jr. of Sodus, N. Y.; sisters, Dolly Foster of Cincinnati, Minola Rogers of Brooklyn, N. Y.; 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Clifton Norwood officiating. Interment at Mount Peace Cemetery. Tanios Jabbour
LEBANON -- Tanios Jabbour, born 1912, passed away Thursday, April 9, 1998 in Lebanon at his home. He spent most of his life in Lebanon, residing here for 20 years before returning. He was a great father who raised six wonderful children who survive him, sons, George, Chafic, Elie, Emile, Nicola and Mike; daughters, Gina and Mary; 36 grandchildren; nephew, Tanios Boumadi. Due to the holiday, Mass will be held Sunday, April 26, at 10:30 a.m. at St. George Orthodox Church, 3204 Ridgewood Rd., Fairlawn. Family will receive friends TODAY after 1 p.m. through the day, Monday and Tuesday after 6 p.m. at Elie Jabbour's residence, 1763 Fourth St., Cuyahoga Falls.

Dorothy W. James, 88, passed away March 31, 1998. Born in St. Louis, Mo., she had been an Akron resident since 1973, and was a member of the Calvary Church of the Deaf. Preceded in death by husband, Olen, she is survived by daughter, Mary Louise (Pastor E. Eugene) Meador of Fairlawn; grandchildren, Alan Meador, Eugenia (Jeff) Schexneider of Minerva, and Janine (Jim) Ballard of Dallas, Texas; three great-grandchildren; and brother, Kenneth Gudermuth of Florida. Funeral services Saturday, 2 p.m., at the First Assembly of God, 1175 W. Market St., Rev. John Sederwall officiating, where friends may call one hour prior to service. CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Stella M. Janeda (nee Olekwar), 75, passed away March 31, 1998. Mrs. Janeda was born in New York and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls her entire life. She was a 1940 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. Preceded in death by her husband, Florian A., she is survived by her son, Benjamin M. and Jeffrey J.; daughters, Elizabeth V. Stonemetz, Christine A. Lyle, and Marta C. Heim, all of Cuyahoga Falls; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. There will be no calling hours. Emmogene ``Jeannie'' I. Jones (Hailey)
Emmogene ``Jeannie'' I. Jones (Hailey) went home to be with the Lord suddenly April 7, 1998. Preceded in death by her first husband, Gene R. Hailey; second husband, Sidney Jones; her mother, father; brother, Forrest D. Moore Jr.; sister, Janie R. Rundhaug; and beloved son, Gene R. Hailey Jr., she is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Danny D. and Prisicilla Hailey of Norton, Gari L. and Cathy Hailey of Akron; brother, Ronald L. Moore of Barberton; sister, Ida Jo Campbell of Dallas, Texas; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Mom was a cook and waitress most of her life, but will be mostly remembered for being a strong woman who raised three adventurous boys by herself. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Dunn-Quigley, Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 811 Grant St., where Pastor Phil D. Hulgin will conduct services at 10 a.m. Saturday.
