CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Stella Swain Rawdon (nee Hall), 95, passed away March 27, 1998. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Crown Hill Burial Park in Twinsburg, Rev. Trent Bobbit officiating. Joy G. Rayl
Joy G. Rayl, 63, of Clinton died Friday, April 3, 1998 at Chapel Hill Community Canal Fulton. Born in Oklahoma, she was employed at the Manchester Trinity Chapel for 17 years and was also a member of Manchester Trinity Chapel. Survived by husband, Earl Rayl; daughters, Vicky and Deborah; numerous grandchildren. Service Monday 11 a.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, Canal Fulton,rev. Curt Thomas officiating. Jeane Marie Rayman (Athey)
Jeane Marie Rayman (Athey), 73, of Farmington Hills, Mich., passed away April 8, 1998. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 17, 1998, at St. Patrick's Church, 313 Depeyster St., Kent. Friends may meet at the church at 6:30 p.m., with the service taking place at 7 p.m., Father Kenney officiating.

Oscar C. Reddick
Oscar C. Reddick died April 7, 1998. He was born Oct. 17, 1916, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Reddick. He was an active member of the Friendship Apostolic Church of Christ until his illness curtailed his activities. He was well known in the Akron community as owner-operator of Oscar's Shoe Repair for many years. He leaves, to mourn, his wife, Edna; daughter, Cynthia; son, Terrance of Akron; stepchildren, Vance (Phaedra), Fred (Admiral), Ann, and Ruth; sons-in-law, Roland Sanders and Andre Robins; 11 grandchildren; sister, Sadie Belle Luckey of New Jersey; brother, Thaddeus Reddick; sister-in-law, Willie H. Tipton of Chattanooga, Tenn.; special friend, Bernice Ware; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services at 1 p.m. Monday, April 13, 1998, at Friendship Apostolic Church of Christ, 332 Trigonia Dr., Akron, Bishop William Pittman officiating. Interment at Glendale Cemetery. Marjorie J. Reese (nee Blevins)
NEW YORK -- Marjorie J. Reese (nee Blevins), a former Akron resident, passed away unexpectedly April 9. She is survived by husband, Jack J.; sons, Samuel, John, Robert, and Mark; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 14, 6 p.m., at the Old Meeting House in Williamsville, N. Y.

Alice E. Reeves
BARBERTON -- Alice E. Reeves, 90, died Wednesday, April 8, 1998, at Akron General Medical Center. She was born in Warren, Ohio, and lived most of her life in Barberton. She retired from Akwell with 40 years of service, and was a member of the Barberton First Church of Christ. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, and will be sadly missed by daughters, Evelyn Reeves of Barberton, Gloria (Ralph) Finney of Norton; son, Charles (Florence) Reeves of California; five grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Myrtle Fern of Barberton. Funeral services Saturday, 12 noon, at Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, Ryan Hayden officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Cemetery. Harry E. Reighard, Jr.
Harry E. Reighard, Jr., 84, passed away March 31, 1998. Mr. Reighard was born in Everett, Pa. on Jan. 14, 1914. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and worked for Borden Milk Co. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Kathleen; sons, Harry and Charles (Marie) Reighard; daughters, Sandy (Ed) Buckley and Delores (John) Abbott; brothers, Edwin Reighard and Donald Reighard; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd. where services will be held on Friday, April 3, 1998 at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Glenn Rogers, Jr. officiating. Elmer L. Richardson
Elmer L. Richardson, 89, died April 3, 1998. Mr. Richardson was born in Nashport, Ohio and had lived in the Akron area since 1941. He was the former owner of Frank Eddy Machine. Preceded in death by his wife, Helen Margaret Richardson, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne E. and Paul R. Kennedy; grandson, Jeffrey P. Kennedy of Butler, Pa.; sisters, Edna Baker and Laura Glass of Zanesville; brother, Robert of Newark, Ohio; sister, Mary Alice Fitzgerald of Nashport, Ohio; niece, Elizabeth Mendenhall of Zanesville; nephew, Robert Shipley of Waverly, W. Mrs. Johnnie M. Rider
Mrs. Johnnie M. Rider, 78, departed from this earthly life April 17, 1998, at Akron General Medical Center, after an extended illness. She was born in Birmingham, Ala., to the late John and Bessie McQuinter, and had lived in the Akron community for 53 years. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband John H. Rider, three brothers, and two sisters. She is survived by daughters, Robbie (Harry) Reynolds and Cheryl Patterson; stepdaughter, Shirley Williams; adopted daughter, Doris Pickett, all of Akron; sisters Elizabeth of Washington, D. C., and Rosa Lee of San Diego, Calif.; sister-in-law, Fostina Lundy of Akron; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Homegoing services will be held Tuesday, April 21, 1998, at 1 p.m., at the Turner & Rhoden Memorial Home, with Rev. John Milton Burrell officiating. Genevieve A. Riley
Genevieve A. Riley, 87, died Tuesday, April 7, 1998, at Heather Knoll Nursing Home in Tallmadge. She was born Genevieve Alique Barlow on July 21, 1910, in Grafton, W. Va., to George Elias Barlow and Estella Viola Garlits. She was raised in Grafton, the daughter of a construction contractor whose family emigrated from Hanover, Germany. She came to Akron in the 1920s with her husband of 63 years, George William Riley (1903-1991.) Among the early factory workers at the Firestone Tire & Rubber Co., Mr. Riley and Genevieve raised a son, George W. Riley Jr., and a daughter, Shirley A. (Riley) Little, in Firestone Park, and were devout members of St. Paul Catholic Church on Brown Street. Mrs. Riley is survived by her sisters, Catherine and Rita; and brother, Jim; as well as her daughter, Shirley A. Little and husband, Walter T. Little, of Akron; grandchildren, Walter T. (Tom) Little Jr. of Northfield Center, James J. Little of Wadsworth, Theresa A. (Riley) Aspenwall of Cuyahoga Falls, John W. Riley of Columbus, Michael J. Riley of Rootstown, and David A. Riley of Akron. Genevieve was most fond of her great-grandchildren, Thomas J. Little (18), Melissa A. Little (13), Jason L. Riley (12), Bethany T. Little (9), Katherine E. Little (9), Jessica A. Riley (8), Joseph D. Aspenwall (4), Jacob M. Riley (3), Dana R. Aspenwall (3) and Joshua A. Riley (1). Genevieve (Grams) has gone to join her husband, son; great-granddaughter, Allison Renee Little; and God in Heaven. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home, 95 W. Waterloo Rd. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. STOW -- Jane R. Ringler, 91, died March 30, 1998. Born in Montague, Mass., she was a lifetime area resident and a writer of short stories who contributed to many national publications. She is survived by son, Gary (Dorothy) Ringler of Hartville; grandchildren, Gary Lee (Rachel) Ringler of Canton, Michele (Richard) Henry of North Canton; one great-grandchild; brother, William Shanahan of Youngstown; nephews, Alan Myers of Bolivar, Larry Myers of Hilton Head, S. C.; niece, Pat Moon of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family, with Father James Flood officiating. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery. Marilyn J. Robinson (nee Swaddell)
Marilyn J. Robinson (nee Swaddell), 54, died April 4, 1998, at Akron Hospice Center. She was born in Ohio, was a Medina resident for 28 years, and a service rep for Key Bank on Public Square in Medina. Survivors include husband, Vernon Robinson, whom she married Dec. 2, 1970; sons, James Fergus (Kitty) of Florida, Brian Fergus (Lynett) and Chris Robinson, both of Medina; stepsons, Greg Robinson (Veronica) of Cincinnati, Ed and Brian Robinson, both of Dover; brother, Jack Swaddell of Hinckley; sister, Kathy Reece of North Ridgeville; seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, John and Ruth Swaddell. Services at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church, 222 S. Broadway, Medina, with Rev. Dr. Teresa Dulyea-Parker officiating. Burial at Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina. Visiting hours Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at Carlson Funeral Home, 3477 Medina Rd., state Route 18 and River Styx, Medina.

George C. Rodgers Jr.
George C. Rodgers Jr., 45, of Akron, passed away April 2, 1998. He was a graduate of Medina High School in 1971, attended Ohio State Uuniversity, and a two year veteran of the 82nd Airborn. He is survived by his father and step-mother, George Sr. and Ruth; mother and step-father, Martha and Donald Clark; sisters, Janet Simmons, Tanya Isenhart, and Mary Jude Ziehle; brothers, Adrian and Damon Rodgers, many loving nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held TODAY at 1 p.m. in the Chapel at Spring Grove Cemetery, Medina. Mary G. Rohler
Mary G. Rohler, 88, passed away April 16, 1998, after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Mary E. and Robert Wells Jr.; granddaughters, Heather Ervin, Megan Ervin, and Caitlin Wells; brother and sister-in-law, Lewis and Betty Galit; many nieces and nephews. Francis C. Rongone
Francis C. Rongone, 76, died Monday, April 6, 1998, after a sudden illness. A native of Cuyahoga Falls, Mr. Rongone was a graduate of Falls High and had attended Kent State and Akron University. Employed by Goodyear Aircraft, he resigned in 1957 to start his own business, F. C. Machine Tool and Design, Inc. His company, located in Cuyahoga Falls, has been involved in the fabrication and tooling of special machinery and machine parts for various industries, such as defense, medical, nuclear, rubber, steel, and utilities throughout the United States. During World War II, he served with the U. S. Army and achieved the rank of staff sergeant. A member of Immaculate Heart of Mary parish, his many other memberships included the National Tooling & Machining Association, Summit County Machine Group, Sharon Golf Club, Silver Lake Country Club, the V.F.W., and the Rockwell Springs Trout Club in Castalia, Ohio. Preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret; and son, John, he is survived by his wife of 27 years, Dona C. (Ashbrook); daughters, Linda Boggs of Easley, S. C., and Christine Rongone of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Louise Waters ofAlbany, N. Y., and Rosemary Sollinger of Cuyahoga Falls; brothers, Ronald of Cuyahoga Falls and Edward of Hot Springs, Ark.; grandchildren, Michael Andrew Boggs and Dessarai Starr. Calling hours will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Dunn-Quigley, Ciriello & Carr Falls Chapel (Portage Trail at Eighth Street). Bethany Jean Rundgren
Bethany Jean Rundgren, our little angel, 3, was taken from us March 29, 1998. She was born in North Carolina and lived in Akron about a year. She is survived by her parents, Reggie and Allen Rundgren; her brothers, Jared and Tyler; grandmother, Pam Yeager; grandparents, Roger and Lisa Young, and John and Sandra Rundgren. Bye-bye, my baby, Precious Boo-Boo! I love you with all my heart. She was Daddy's little Cindy Lou-whoo! I love you, Beth! She will be laid to rest in Braxton County, W. Va., later this week.
