Girlie Winn
Girlie Winn, 76, of Minford, died Thursday, at her home.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2003, at Back Run House of Prayer, Lucasville, with burial in Jacob Cemetery, Lucasville. Friends may call Friday at the church after 4 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home, Waverly.

Shannon T. McKee
Shannon T. McKee, 56, of Chillicothe, died Friday morning, in the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, following an extended illness.
Arrangements are being completed by Haller Funeral Home.

Roy Davis
Roy Davis, 63, of South Bloomingville, died Friday at Hocking Valley Community Hospital.

Margaret K. 'Midge' Neighborgal
Margaret Kathryn "Midge" Neighborgal, 91, of Chillicothe, died 11:30 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2003, in Westmoreland Place, following an extended illness.
She was born October 27, 1911, in Pickaway County, to the late Harry A. and Rosa Ann Streitenberger Quick. On October 28, 1927, she married Guy S. Neighborgal, who died January 29, 1997.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Stanley Sr. Nichols; a grandson, Danny Hines and his wife, Michelle; a granddaughter, Amanda Halasz and her husband Robert II; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Leona Blake and Dorothy Drummond; a brother, Gilbert Quick; and an infant sister, Gladys Quick.
Midge was a longtime resident of Ross County and was an avid bowler. She was a member of Walnut Street United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2003, at Ware Funeral Home, with Dr. Dennis Mohler officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call at Ware's from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.

Larry E. France
Larry E. France, age 51, of Frankfort, died unexpectedly at his residence.
Arrangements are pending at Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort.

Raymond Miller
Raymond Miller, 81, of Chillicothe, died Tuesday, at Adena Regional Medical Center following a short illness.
Arrangements are pending at Ware Funeral Home.

Bruce C. Ridgway
Bruce C. Ridgway, age 85, of Palm Bay, Florida, died October 23, 2003. He was born June 4, 1918, to Raymond and Marie (Chenoweth) Ridgway. He was married to Ruth Gantz in 1941. They had one child, Lewis Bruce Ridgway. Bruce is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; his parents; his stepmother, Garnet (Haning) Ridgway; and his half-brother, Kermit Ridgway. Bruce married Lois (Blackstone) Cole in 1995.
He attended Derby High School, Bliss College and the School of Aeronautics in Columbus, Ohio. He served during World War II, in Accra, Africa. He lived most of his life in Darby Township, where he served as Zoning inspector. He is a retired Maintenance Planner from E.I. DuPont, of Circleville, Ohio. He moved to Brevard County, Florida, in 1994, from Circleville, Ohio. He was a member of the Derby United Methodist Church and Christ United Methodist Church of Palm Bay.
He is survived by his wife, Lois; son, Lewis (Mary Ann) Ridgway; step-son, Nathan Cole; step-daughters, Elayne McGyre and Nadyne (William) Leist; three grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and many other loving relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2003, at Schoedinger Norris Chapel, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Interment will be at Pleasant Cemetery, Mount Sterling, Ohio. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday, October 31, 2003, from 4 to 8 p.m.

Everett E. Sams, Sr.
Everett E. Sams, Sr., 91, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Tuesday morning, Oct. 28, 2003, in Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. He was born Apr. 10, 1912 in Ross County, the son of Lewis E. and Maude J. Christman Sams. On Aug. 5, 1937 he married Georgia Ann Vandemark who preceded him in death on Oct. 16, 1993.
Surviving are daughters, Evelyn "Betty" and husband, Ernest Ray, Londonderry, Judith Rogers, Chillicothe and Sharon Sams, Columbus, sons, Everett E. and wife, Carol Sams, Jr., Waverly and Ronald and wife, Terry Sams, Sr., Chillicothe, 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. His parents and 6 sisters and 4 brothers preceded him in death. He was the last of 11 children.
Mr. Sams was a heavy equipment operator for Huntington Township, retiring after 30 years of service.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. John Nunley officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 am until the hour of service on Friday.

James Mathys Hunt
James Mathys Hunt, stillborn son of James Daniel and Alisha Marie (Barrows) Hunt of Chillicothe, was delivered at 11:54 a.m. October 29, 2003, at Adena Regional Medical Center.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by maternal grandparents, Joey and Cindie Fife, Chillicothe; paternal grandparents, James D. and Kimberly Hunt, Beaver, OH; his great-grandparents, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family under the direction of Haller Funeral Home.

Julia Wine Hinson
Julia Wine Hinson, 79, of McArthur, died Wednesday, October 29, 2003, at Adena Regional Medical Center.

Justine Essence Manning
Justine Essence Manning, 4 months, died Wednesday at her residence. She is the daughter of Matthew and Allison (Harris) Manning, Piketon.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Cox Funeral Home, Beaver, with burial in Carr's Run Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 12 until 3 p.m.

Nancy A. Reeder
Nancy A. (Skinner) Reeder, 77, of Clearwater, Florida, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003, at home.
She was born in Chillicothe, Ohio, and moved to Florida in 1979 from Stratford, N.J. Wife of the late Willard C. Reeder, she is survived by a daughter, Kimberly A. Reeder, Clearwater FL; and three sons, Telford L. Lutman, CA, Jeffrey M. Reeder, Clearwater, FL, and David C. Reeder, St. Petersburg, FL. She had five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by cousins, Dennis Dimity, Pass-A-Grille, FL, Mace Magbee, Whittier, CA, and many friends and loved ones.
Arrangements are under the direction of the National Cremation Society, Clearwater, FL.

Michael Homer Beath
Michael Homer Beath, 51, of Lordsburg, New Mexico, passed away October 27, 2003. Funeral services were held October 31, 2003, at Lordsburg High School gymnasium and interment in Shakespeare Cemetery.
Mr. Beath was born July 14, 1952, in Chillicothe, to Homer and Elizabeth (Taylor) Beath. He graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1970, received his bachelor's from Ohio University in 1974 and master's from Western New Mexico University. He had been with the Lordsburg School System since 1977.
Beath is survived by son, Stephen Troy Beath; father, Homer Beath, of Chillicothe; sister, Virginia Sulzer, of Texas; step sisters, Pamela (Gary) Turley and Denise (Monte) Queen, of Chillicothe; aunts, Icie Taylor, of Chillicothe, and Bernice Duff, of Greenfield; uncles, Harold and Verlin Beath, of Hillsboro; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth; step mother, Marian (Hutchison) Beath and son, Kenton Michael Beath.
In his youth, Beath was involved in many sports activities, including Chillicothe City Recreation, as a member of Chillicothe High School's football and basketball teams, and as an OUC Hilltopper. He enjoyed life and was a caring man, who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
