WAPAKONETA - Arthur H. Brockert, 79, Dearbaugh Ave., Wapakoneta, died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2003, at 6:58 p.m. at Lima Memorial Hospital.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta, with the Rev. Hank Albietz as celebrant and Rev. Peter Chiodo co-celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph cemetery, where military graveside services will be conducted by the Wapakoneta V.F.W.

Calling hours will be Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home in Wapakoneta, where a prayer service will be held at 2 p.m., and a 4th Degree memorial services will be held at 8 p.m.

Benjamin William Reinbolt
Died: Thursday, September 18, 2003
Age: 22

Benjamin William Reinbolt, 22, 406 Apollo St., died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2003, in Lockington, of a self-inflicted gun shot wound.

Memorial services will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at Ginghamsburg Church, 7695 South County Road 25A, Tipp City, with Pastor John Jung and Co-pastor Linda Dulin officiating.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home.

Velma Markland
Died: Thursday, September 18, 2003
Age: 85

LUDLOW FALLS - Velma Markland, 85, of 3843 S. Davis Road, died at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, 2003, in Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22, 2003, at the Jackson Funeral Home, Pleasant Hill, with Pastor Jerry Collins officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill cemetery.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of services Monday, Sept. 22, at the funeral home.

Elsie Loretta Gold
Died: Saturday, August 09, 2003
Age: 76

DEGRAFF - Elsie Loretta Gold, 76, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, in Sidney Care Center.

Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home in DeGraff with Pastor N. Matthew Wright of the Quincy United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Glen cemetery in Port Jefferson. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the funeral home.

Franklin D. Perando
Died: Friday, August 08, 2003
Age: 71

COVINGTON - Franklin D. Perando, 71, died at 7:06 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, at V.A. Medical Center in Dayton. He was born Nov. 15, 1931, in Deer Park, Md., to the late Benjamin F. and Evelyn (O'Haver) Perando.

Frank is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Patricia Perando of Piqua and Steven Perando of Piqua; and two daughters and sons-in-law, Tawana and Jerry Ammon of Troy and Valinda and Russell Profitt of Hamilton; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Russell Perando of Maryland and Benjamin Perando of California; one sister, Helen Thrasher of Maryland; and a special friend, Carol Hunter of Covington.

Mr. Perando was a member of the Greenville Fraternal Order of the Eagles No. 2177, Piqua Am Vets, and Piqua VFW Post No. 4874. He served our country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict, serving as an MP. Frank was a self-employed contractor in the Piqua area for 25 years. He was an avid music lover, playing lead guitar in several local bands.

A memorial service will be held for family and friends at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14 at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home in Piqua. His family will celebrate his life by conducting the services through memories. Frank will be taken back home to Maryland to be buried with his family. Samuel A. Arbogast
Died: Friday, August 08, 2003
Age: 27

Samuel A. Arbogast, 27, 6693 Ferree Road, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, in an auto accident on Schenk Road, Sidney.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Cromes Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glen cemetery, Port Jefferson.

Calling hours will be Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Cromes Funeral Home.

John L. Kloeker
Died: Friday, August 08, 2003
Age: 57

John L. Kloeker, 57, of VOCA Home of Sidney, formerly of Newport, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton. He had been sick two weeks.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sts. Peter & Paul Church Monday, Aug. 11, at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. and Monday from 9 to 10 a.m.

Jack C. Wininger
Died: Thursday, August 07, 2003
Age: 46

Jack Christopher Wininger, 46, 500 N. Vandemark Road, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2003, in his residence.

Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in The Lisle Funeral Home in Fresno, Calif. Burial will be at Belmont Memorial Park in Fresno. Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the daughter's address, Mrs. Amy Hotlen, 5295 W. Holland St., Fresno, Calif., 93722.

MARIA STEIN - Laruena S. Kramer, 90, formerly of 6698 Fort Recovery-Minster Road, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2003, at 7:47 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Doris Goettemoeller of Frenchtown.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Nativity Church Monday, Aug. 11, at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Ken Schroeder officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9 to 10 a.m.

Robert L. Wintrow
Died: Wednesday, August 06, 2003
Age: 62

TROY - Robert L. Wintrow Sr., 62, of Troy, died peacefully Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2003, at his home in the presence of family and friends after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, with the Rev. Ed Ellis and Pastor Al Bastin officiating.

Military services will be held at the graveside by Veterans Memorial Honor Guard of Troy.

Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Casstown cemetery, Casstown. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, P.O. Box 502, Troy, OH 45373.
