PIQUA - Charles E. Cotrell Sr., 62, was called home to heaven to build God's Mansion in the sky on Monday, Sept. 8, 2003, at 6:36 a.m. in his residence.
He was born in Piqua on April 9, 1941 to the late Ned E. and Lilly White Cotrell.
He married
Jerry Cantrell on Oct. 1, 1969 in Piqua and she survives.
A private funeral service will be conducted at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Phil Wethington officiating.
Burial will follow in Forest Hill cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 10 from 6-8 p.m. in the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.

Age: 73
Thomas L. Wolaver, 73, of 707 Linden Ave., died of natural causes at 8:05 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2003, at The Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road in Sidney.
The Rev. Harold McKnight will officiate.
Burial will follow in Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Charlotte A. Leach, 65, 531 Second Ave., died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2003, at 12:43 p.m. in Wilson Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Cromes Funeral Home with Rev. Barbara Staley officiating.
Burial will be at Glen cemetery in Port Jefferson.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Cromes Funeral Home.

HOUSTON – Anita B. Myers, 87, 2655 State Route 66, went home to be with the Lord Friday, Sept. 5, 2003, at 8 a.m. at her residence.
Services will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home by the Rev. Douglas E. Kranenburg and the Rev. Steve Olson.
Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery, Orington, Maine.
Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m. until time of the services.
All arrangements were entrusted to the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road.

PIQUA - Roy H. Gross, 87, of 690 Snodgrass Road, Piqua, passed away Friday, Sept. 5, 2003, at 11 a.m. at his residence.
He was born Sept. 16, 1915 in Shelby County, the son of the late Albert and Emma (Wildermuth) Gross.
He married
Wonsie M. (Abbott) Gross in 1964, she passed away July 18, 1987.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Pearl cemetery in Swanders with the Rev. Alice Wolfe officiating.
Burial will be at Pearl cemetery in Swanders.
There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are being handled by the Cromes Funeral Home in Sidney.
Miriam A. Riffell

PIQUA - Miriam A. (Burch) Riffell, 76, of Piqua, died Friday, Sept. 5, 2003 at 8:30 p.m. at Piqua Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Nov. 8, 1926, in Piqua to the late George and Helen (Rich) Burch.
She married
John H. Riffell Sr. on Nov. 4, 1944, in Troy; he preceded her in death in 1982.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 11 a.m. at Central Baptist Church, 115 Staunton St., Piqua, with the Rev. Thomas Farrier officiating.
Burial will be at 2 p.m. (Indiana time) in Leo cemetery in Leo, Ind.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
Arrangements are being handled by Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua.

Burial is to follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton.
