WIECHART
Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Wiechart, 81, of Delphos, died at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
She was born November 1, 1923, in New Cleveland, the daughter of the late Lucas and Amellia (Siebenak) Stoepfel. On January 29, 1949, she married Bernard Wiechart, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Wiechart was a homemaker and was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos and the Delphos American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Roger Wiechart of Delphos, and two sisters, Rita Knoll and Margaret Butler, both of Leipsic.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Lauretta Stoepfel, and six brothers, Victor, Raymond, Felix, Cletus, Dick and Thomas Stoepfel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 9, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Thomas Gorman officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Delphos.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a parish wake service will be held at 7:30 that evening.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of donor's choice.

LOUAGIE
Laura Marie Louagie, 81, of Van Wert, died at 4:50 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2004, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.
She was born December 29, 1922, in Baldwin, Ind., the daughter of the late Emile and Julia (Deruytter) Louagie.
Ms. Louagie was retired after 36 years of employment at Federal-Mogul Corporation in Van Wert. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert.
Survivors include three sisters, Mary Alice Louagie, Marie (Dale) Stripe and Lena (Joe) Miller; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph, Richard, Paul and Maurice Louagie, and a sister, Pauline (Victor) Garmyn.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 10, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert, with the Rev. Keith Stripe officiating. There will be a meal immediately following the Mass, with burial at 2 p.m. Friday in St. Rose Cemetery in Monroeville, Ind.
Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. Thursday, December 9, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, followed by a Rosary service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Van Wert Area Visiting Nurses and Hospice or the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church Endowment Fund.

PALMER
Burton McGough Palmer of Perrysburg and formerly of Van Wert, died at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2004, at the Manor at Perrysburg.
He was born January 4, 1917, in Van Wert, the son of the late Gale Watson and Adeline (McGough) Palmer. In July 1939, he married Grace L. Reed, who died in December 1968. In February 1970, he married Dorothy Palmer, who died in August 1999.
Mr. Palmer retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass in 1980 with 39 years of service as an electrical engineer. He was a lifetime Mason in Hanover Lodge 0338, was 1935 valedictorian of Hoaglin Jackson High School in Van Wert County and a 1940 graduate of Ohio State University in Columbus.
Survivors include four sons, Bruce (Stella) Palmer of Lexington, Ky., Gene (Diane) Palmer of Perrysburg, Rex (Cindy) Palmer of Maumee and Dudley (Katie) Palmer of Whitefish Bay, Wis.; two stepdaughters, Ruthanne (Mark) Sweeney of Toledo and Molly Palmer of Roslyn, Wash.; two sisters, Gordon (Gordon) Jones of Napa, Calif., and Katherine (Joe) Snider of Seneca, S.C.; 11 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Roger Palmer, and one brother, Carl B. Palmer.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date at First United Methodist Church in Perrysburg.
There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements were made by Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert.

MIHM
Ernest Eugene Mihm, 82, of Rockford, died at 1:11 a.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2004, at his residence.
He was born July 17, 1922, the son of the late Floyd and Lena (Zizelman) Mihm. On October 12, 1946, he married Betty Dean Jordan, who preceded him in death on May 12, 2003.
Mr. Mihm was a farmer and had also worked at New Idea in Coldwater and also at the Mercer Elevator. He was a World War II veteran who served in the U.S. Navy and a member of Rockford United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Free and Accepted Masonic Lodge in Rockford ad of Rockford American Legion Post 508.
Survivors include two daughters, Diane (Dave Jr.) Sheets of Mendon and Elaine (Jim) Geyer of Galloway; two sisters, Mary Michael of Rockford and Flora (Norman) Stoner of Celina; one grandson, Dave (Erica) Sheets, and a great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 10, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, with Pastor Mike Berne officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Rockford, with graveside military honors conducted by the Rockford American Legion post
Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. Thursday, December 9, and an hour prior to the services on Friday. Masonic services will be held at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Hospice.

HAVER
Nona V. Haver, 81, of 203 S. Cherry St., Convoy, died at 10:02 a.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2004, at Convoy Care Center.
She was born March 11, 1923, in Allen County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harry and Esther (Hullinger) Graham. On March 13, 1939, she married Harry Eugene Haver, who died July 31, 1976.
Mrs. Haver was a homemaker and had worked at Federal-Mogul Corporation's National Seal plant in Van Wert for seven years and was a housekeeper at the former Van Wert Holiday Inn for 10 years. She was a member of Amanda Baptist Church near Spencerville.
Survivors include three daughters, Rita M. (Ronald) Krueckeberg of Convoy; June Ellen VanTilburg of New Haven, Ind., and Gail (Roger) Glass of Exeland, Wis.; two brothers, Paul (Beverly) Graham of Bellbrook and Ted Graham of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a sister, Arlene (Norman L.) Miller of Elida; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Denver R. Graham, Eddie Graham, Omar Graham, Don Graham and Ray Graham, and a sister, Norma Blanken.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 11, at Wright Cemetery in Jennings Township, Van Wert County, with the Rev. Bud Walls of Convoy Baptist Church officiating.
Calling hours are 5-8 p.m. Friday, December 10, at Cowan & Son Stainfield Memorial Home in Convoy.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Convoy EMS Squad.

MILLER
June R. Miller, 78, of Van Wert, died at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2004, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
She was born July 3, 1926, in Paulding County, the daughter of the late Furl and Cleo (Griffis) Rhodus. On September 21, 1947, she married Robert J. Miller, who survives in Van Wert.
Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Van Wert.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Sandra (David) Miller of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Barbara Miller of Douglas, Ga., and one granddaughter, Sara Myers.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Rhodus.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 12, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Douglas Stockton officiating. Burial will be in Blue Creek Cemetery near Haviland.
Calling hours are 4-8 p.m. Saturday, December 11, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church or a charity of donor's choice.

BEOUGHER
Osie Jane Beougher, 95, of Celina, died at 10:22 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2004, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born February 26, 1909, in Adams County, Ind., near Geneva, the daughter of the late Edward S. and Sarah C. (Wendel) Anspaugh. On December 28, 1930, she married Gail A. Beougher, who died January 3, 1987.
Mrs. Beougher was a homemaker and had lived in the area nearly all her life after coming here from Indiana. She was a member of Landfair Methodist Church in Celina and, in recent years, had attended the Celina Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Rockford Garden Club for many years and enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, as well as all the people who came to buy the home-grown produce.
Survivors include a son, Gerald (JoAnn) Beougher of Celina; two daughters, Betty Hainline and Phyllis Heckler (with whom she made her home the last few years), both of Celina; one brother, Virgil (Charlotte) Anspaugh of Mendon; a sister-in-law, Edna Anspaugh of Michigan; 11 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Henry Anspaugh and infant twins; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, December 13, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, with Pastor Steve Clayton officiating. Burial will be in Otterbein Cemetery near Rockford.
Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. Sunday, December 12, and an hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
